The 4th house I got from KB. Good quality, good location, reasonable price.

The experience was great. The builder was communicative and attentive to our needs.

Lack of presence of of the promised appliances on the day of walkthrough like No Stove range, no Microwave. Lot of small issues needed to be addressed and it took almost 45 days after forcing the buyer to close on the property. I had to make repeated requests to make repairs and customer service is NOT customer oriented team at all. KB homes threaten buyers to close on the property when it is NOT move in ready. Very disappointed that as big as KB Homes building umpteen number of homes in the area, conducting in this unprofessional manner taking the joy of owning a new from the buyers. I heard the same complaints from other home owners in the locality. Simply disappointing and frustrating and KB Homes won’t give a hoot and won’t budge in to compensate either. Will never buy another home from the builder I must mention that Scott the sales person and Construction supervisor Chris were professional and nice but my complaint is about the builder. ... More

Cindy my selling agent was great. I do not like the fact that certain things were left unfinished and sloppy, granted they have been fixed, but I guess things were being rushed to meet a deadline.

The overall experience was a shade above terrible. As expected, the home took approximately 12 months from signing the contract to closing. For nearly 8-9 months we dealt with an unresponsive Construction Manager - named Scott and a similarly unresponsive Sales Rep named Bob (Ok. Bob was a tad-bit more responsive but very unreliable). Not only were they unresponsive, they were unclear in their communications creating much heartache and the potential loss of a sell. The only reason we remained on contract with the purchase of this home, is because of Brandon. Unbeknownst to us, Brandon was assigned as our new Construction Manager the last two-three months of this process drastically improving our experience. I feel confident in saying that had Brandon been our Construction Manager from the onset, KB would have gotten better ratings. Brandon was professional, honest, and understanding of our concerns and issues. He immediately addressed issues that had been outstanding for nearly 6 months (i.e. when there's a hole in your brand new roof during the winter and spring months, that's an issue that should be taken care off immediately). There are not enough words to express how outstanding the KB staffers were from beginning to end during the home buying process. Post purchase, they are still going beyond the call of duty by addressing my questions and being accountable for any discovered defects. KB has definitely been on my side. Thank you KB Fam!

We do not advise other home buyers to get the idea that you are buying a new home. Home was not and still is not after 2 months 100% completed. Quality of workmanship is lacking and not upheld by supervisors. People seem to have good intentions but actions are not reflecting this. Everyone was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. I was never left wondering what was happening or misinformed.

I love my house buying experience at KB home

This had to be one of the most stressful purchase and move we had ever experienced. I’ll start at the beginning with the loan officer, our loan officer matt gave us some expectation he was not able to keep. He was very unreliable, he would say I’ll call you and he would never do. During the whole process we were left in the dark, he was more worried about his personal business he had on the side than his actual job. We had no idea where our loan was in the process and on top of that we stressed to him the importance of setting our closing date because we were moving from Delaware to Texas and we had to move our closing date two times because he dropped the ball on turning in our documentation into the processing department even though we kept calling him to see if our paperwork had already been sent to the processing department to get our loan in the process. We were told that to compensate for the loan officers negligence we would be getting a garage door opener and that has yet to be installed in our home. The fun does not end here, my family and I get to Texas and not only was our house not ready the quality of craftsmanship has left me dumbfounded. There are so many discrepancies in the home and even though I have reached out to the project manager at least once a week I feel like we are left on the back burner since already moved in, not to mention we have been living here for over a month and have yet to be able to set up trash service or water under my name because the certificate of occupancy has not been released. This experience has really taken me by surprise because my wife and I had a purchased KB home in the past and the quality of craftsmanship was high and the experience was smooth but now it feels like a lot of corners were cut. ... It was awesome! They did great helping us get our home! Houses here are beautiful and well built!

Our building superintendent is wonderful. Very quick to respond to our service requests. We are glad we made the choice to purchase from KB Homes.

I had a wonderful experience from beginning to close. I personally used KB Homes financing and they did an AMAZING JOB! The Superintendent of my home was VERY INFORMATIVE on our home progress. The KB Sales staff. One word.. AMAZING!!! MY HOME AND QUALITY A++++. Hurry up and grab a home lot! You will not be disappointed.

I fell in love with my crew, from Michelle, Vicki, Scott, and the Construction manager, Gill. They all were and have been phenomenal. Every question answered with the quickness you'd expect from the world's best home builder. My first KB Home was built in 2001, and this one in 2023. I am so pleased with KB and their home designs. I wish everyone could own a KB Home.

The service and quality of the customer service was exceptional. Greg and the team was always available to answer any questions that I have and give me a clear way to resolve any concern that I have great job on having those guys on your team.

I have bought homes through Quadrant, Oakridge, and KB Homes. KB Homes was by far a smooth, simple, straight forward process from start to finish. They truly focus on the customer and making sure everything is done to top quality. It was exceptional and I was always impressed. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing from KB Homes!

Bad experience with part of KB Home employes and quality of work

The one thing that I don't like is, the utility workers do not notify you when they will need to access your property. We already moved into our home and we had our side gate locked and just made it home from shopping, and my wife was in the bedroom changing and two guys jumped my back fence, she ran into the living room and told me she was changing and these guys came over the fence and I ran to the back of the house and I saw that they were digging in my backyard.They had no name tags or uniforms and I didn't know who they were and they didn't speak English, and with all the crime today it almost ended with me pulling my weapon One then was able to say KB HOMES AT&T and I figured out that they were contracted out to KB Homes for at&t digging cable lines. They should have put a note on my door or something because it could have ended very bad. Please make your workers identifiable and start knocking and putting notes on your door and letting you know when they have to go into your back yard, so they won't have to jump your back fence. ... A great job was done by all involved

After getting over a few hurdles, I would highly recommend KB homes to any future home owner. They have worked hard as a team to deliver good customer service and satisfaction. Ryan did an amazing job! He is professional, well balanced and he worked with me until the very end. You will not go wrong working with Ryan.. They all worked together to make it happen in a timely manner.

Nice floor plans but concerning craftsmanship. Terrible basic options which practically force you to pay extra to upgrade. KB has a long way to go to be a quality builder for the extreme price point.

I’m Lucky having this house beautiful and my wish home . The builder update each step until construction done .

Process was quick and overall please with the home construction. Just be weary if a new home build starts next to yours... Workers are not tidy and having alot of people around all the time that you have to pickup after... Plus regular porta potty s that get used frequently next to your home. Probably would have chosen a more developed area for next time.
