The home buying experience was made very easy!! The Sales team was very informative about the technology of the house and house building processes. They made me feel like this community and home was a great fit. The loan process was very smooth! Loan officer did a phenomenal job explaining everything and answered all my questions. They made the process very easy. I always thought it would be a difficult process to buy a home, but they showed me that it was not. 16 months to close. They tried to close earlier multiple times but work was not complete. When we finally closed there was still a list of things needing completion.

The sale office was friendly and detail oriented. Ryan from Customer care gave a complete new home tour and explained everything about the house. He was super responsive to questions and was very accessible ! His team Members were on time and professional

KB Homes may look nice from the exterior and the salesman may sing a beautiful tune, but this builder is one of the worst and takes every possible shortcut with no thought as to how it might affect the homebuyer. The salesmen work for KB Home and are willing to say anything to get you to sign that contract and put that sold sign in front of the house! We discovered many problems throughout the home including cracked foundation, "upgrades" installed incorrectly to where they don't function properly, light fixtures that do not work or are falling off the wall, among other features. Tile in the home is so uneven and chipped I cannot walk barefoot without physically cutting my feet. KB Home refuses to fix these issues. We were extremely pressured to "hurry up and close" and were promised warranty would take care of these issues after closing on the home; however, after closing on the home, warranty flat out refused to take care of these issues. I closed on my home with blue tape where painters and other contractors were supposed to come fix things. I was told to not worry about this, that again it would be taken care of after I signed closing documents. I signed closing documents, and suddenly both warranty and construction tell me it is not their problem anymore. They are deceptive in their business practices. I highly regret my purchase. ... More

The sales and construction teams were constantly in touch with us through weekly construction updates.Even after closing, the construction team was constantly in touch with us and fixed any issues we faced.Overall it was a good experience and good team.

Expect delays, no accountability, and no communication from KB Homes departments. Initially, everything was great, but as we got closer to the closing date that changed for the worst. First, they told us we did not need flood insurance causing additional expenses to us the consumer. One week before the closing date all KB agents helping us went radio silent.The closing date came and we did not get notified in any way that it had been move due to the builder not having our home complete, it was until next week after the original closing date that we received word that it will take two more months to finish. Now it has been close to three months in the home and the warranty department will not respond to any of the emails I have sent them even after receiving a confirmation email from the stating that one of their representatives will contact me in 48 hours. It has been a whole month and no response to my emails. I will never buy again from KB Homes or recommend them to no one ... More

Being first-time home builders (not buyers), we were impressed with the amount of say we had when it came to customizing our home compared to other builders in the area. Throughout the entire process, KB was upfront about price, timeline, potential delays, and overall what to expect. We didn't feel like just another contract to them, but that was largely due to the fantastic sales team we worked with, specifically Julie B.. Her initial greeting was warm and welcoming, no pressure to buy, and answered any and all of our MANY questions that we had along the way. She was available any time and was our advocate when we needed her. Without her, we wouldn't have purchased a home through KB. When Julie wasn't in the office, her counterpart Michelle K. was equally as welcoming and warm, and helped us build the home of our dreams. Thomas Z. was our super and also without him, we would not have been as satisfied with how things turned out. I have recommended KB to friends and co-workers based on our experience, and will continue to do so. ... More

Construction Manager Brian was excellent. He went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Logan was also great with warranty issues and Elaine was very helpful with Sales and design issues.

The house seems to be well built, layout is well thought out, houses are very attractive, internal touches are nice Salespeople’s and builder were fantastic when purchasing but once you sign for the house they drop off the face of the world(probably how it is supposed to work), but the warranty person doesn’t pick up the slack. Takes multiple emails to get any response and then weeks to schedule workers to come out. The warranty workers only show up half the time which starts the cycle of trying to get a response from kb warranty all over again. Neighborhood landscaping is going in now and they just planted 4 northern red oaks on the side of my house in a line with 5ft spacing in between. Is this a joke? These trees grow to 40-60ft tall and have 25-40ft wide canopies when mature. Seems poorly thought out. ... More

I like KB Home a lot. Sales rep is responsive; design center offer is customizable. I understand the complications of construction, but I am not having a good experience recently. I closed my home at the end of Mar. the first week after closing, heavy rain came and my neighboring sites mud flooded to mine. 1/3 of my yard has been buried since then. I communicated with construction and warranty so many times, but it is early/mid Jun now, my yard is still buried. It is hard to move around the yard and the standing water raised tons of mosquitoes. I need this to be fixed ASAP, but I don’t know how. ... More

I like my home.

Overall we were happy with our home and a lot of the issues that came up were handled. However there were moments of lack of communication and delayed execution with our inspector. Issues that came up before our 30 days with Tyler have still not been handled. We remain optimistic that they will get fixed. Overall we rate the experience a 9/10.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience building with KB home. We've heard horrid stories about other builders, so we were nervous building new construction. However, the KB crew from sales to construction to financing as been awesome. They really made it a priority to make sure we were happy with our home. Can't expect more than that!

Words is not enough to be grateful of this entire process in purchasing a new home with KB. It was a great experience because of these three wonderful trustworthy friendly compassionate men. they all became a friend to me along the process. Bill the realtor was incredible.He never cease to update me sending pics of the construction. He quickly respond to my phone calls and texts. personal attention support and assistance is well appreciated. This was my first newly built home and really do not know what to expect but he clears everything and always there for my best interest.I contribute my non stress journey to him as well.He is not just a realtor but became a trustworthy friend.I will surely miss him esp when questions will still come up just because he was always there. My loan officer Bill is doing all my best interest as well. He is very knowledgeable about the market trustworthy that you built confidence in an instant.He provides me with clarity and reassurance along the process. At first I was working on two loan officer the other was a church mate and gave me a wrong advice to apply near closing g escrow sure enough it was 2 percent more so glad I listened to Bill to locked the interest rate. He is Knowledgeable.He gives me the best counsel in the process. My loan officer is a good fit responded and communicates well throughout the process. He was on a vacation endorsed me to another officer but still on the loop grateful for his consistent care and concern for me. The whole process is smooth from the onset to finish, I feel like I have a friend who favored me. Craig as well is incredible.He become like a family to me always there catering for my needs and never ending questions.I am not a high tech person but he demonstrated all the smart features switches showing me where they are the insulation humidifier switches.So hardworking visible building superintendent. Goes beyond his tasks for us. He delegate tasks in a timely manner whenever something need to be done on the finishing touches carpentry electricity etc He is very visible supportive caring and engaging. About the quality overall is good.Just need tweaking on the finishing touches My home needed some minor carpentry repairs painting electrical fixing but that’s why there’s warranty. Has to share there was a dead mice on the front door and inside on one of the bedrooms. Hoping there won’t be more.. ... More

This was the most horrible experience for buying a home, the aggressiveness and incompetent plus the misinformation of the sales team was the most unpleasant experience for buying a home. I am sorry but I will never refer anyone
