We recently purchased a brand new KB Home in Hollister, and the experience was so easy. Buying a home is a big financial and sort of scary decision and the staff at KB Homes was amazing. They helped us figure out what we could afford and helped us figure out financing. It was very nice to have the experts hold our hands through the process. Additionally, the construction staff is simply amazing! The walk throughs were fun and informative, and the two times we needed small repairs, they were scheduled and done the same day. The gentleman that came for repairs also noticed a small ding in the wall from our movers and fixed it even though it was not KB's fault that it happened. He also touched up the paint for us as well. Vanessa was our sales person and she was THE BEST, absolutely amazing. She walked us through the whole process and was always there to answer all of our questions. She took all the stress out of our home buying experience. Love her !!!

Over all its just another track home with low quality material & poor workmanship. There are plenty of hairline cracks acros the drywall joints where the tape didn’t have enough mud behind it . The Construction Superintendent tryed to charge me cash for a stone design that was already included in the blue prints. Matt The warranty fellow is terrible at responding the phone, text & emails so far not a great experience. A few things need to be repaired such as my front door being unsquared, my dryer braker is completely out , and also the GFCI outside patio outlet trips every time i plug something in . Even with delays, the house turned out beautiful! Sales was great and kept us informed and construction manager, Jeff was awesome in keeping in touch.

From finding, purchasing and moving in we have enjoyed the experience plus the quality of the home. We would buy another one from KB Homes.

I wish KB homes would include a single basin sink with goose neck faucet in the kitchen and quartz countertops to be included in all homes versus being an upgrade, otherwise all else is fine. The sales team & maintenance team on site are all great and very responsive to any requests.

I like the parts that I get to customize my choices based on my preferences. The best upgrade is being able to have Ethernet socket in each room to plug cable directly if necessary. Buying a brand new house costs less than bidding and buying used house. No need to worry about plumbing issues.

Lengthy time in build, several issues. I.E. accessive trash left both inside and outside of residence.

Requires thorough inspection for construction defects.

In an apparent rush to finish before closing, a lot of details about the house were skipped; however, KB rep and sup have been tremendously responsive to correcting all the issues quickly. Repair and finish crews have been superb.

Buying our new home with KB was so simple. Everyone involved with the process was patient, understanding and so helpful. My salesman Jorge was always available to answer my questions. Great job KB!

Process was pretty easy. Studio visit and choices were very good. Construction manager very helpful.

The KB home team are so professional. They disclosed everything upfront and that’s very important as a buyer. The time of completions are very accurate. Quality of the the construction of the house is very good. All the warranties they offered are amazing, even with the third parties like the appliances and other systems in the house. The location of this track is just amazing. Easy access to freeways, schools and the airport. I’m extremely happy with my purchase experience!

KB subcontractors do not pay attention to details, appears they just want to finish the job. I found several problems for a new house, heater was not working, gutters were not sealed and leveled correctly when I talked to subcontractor to repair them was reluctant to do it. Roof was missing a tile and some other were not aligned properly and same situation subcontractor did not have disposition to fix the problem I had to insist the roof had problems. More over one window not finished outside is missing a piece, main door entrance not sealed properly, found problems under kitchen island, the list continues. Appears that the house did not have a good inspection by profesional inspectors during construction. Danelle at the sales office was really great at getting me information and helping me through the buying process. For a first time homebuyer this was really helpful. The entire team including the lending and construction teams made every work very well and allowed the closing to go super smoothly. I would recommend this for any new homebuyer.

Buying a home with KB was very quick and pleasant!

In this current market you’d expect homes to be built better then ever. Interest rates are high and house prices are higher then ever. For those families still wanting to purchase a house. Buying one poorly built and shown lack of professionalism is disappointing. Trying to get someone to come do repairs is a joke. I thought it was just my house but after speaking with my neighbors it’s all our houses. When I met with KB homes the first time I was told how well their homes are built and how attentive they are to details when building homes. This is a like and a total joke. I bought the home while still living in California which was a challenge but luckily I had friends in San Antonio that filled in for me on some important dates the first was the walkthrough on my new home my friends drove an hour to meet with the employees from KB homes they pointed out a few things and we're assured that they would be corrected. On the second and final walkthrough my friends again drove an hour to meet with KB homes employees some of the things that they had pointed out during the first walkthrough were corrected others were not like the refrigerator door was dinged up scratched and was unacceptable they were told it was on order another thing that wasn't taking care of was the painting that was noticeable in the entryway of the home they were assured it would be taken care of another thing that was not corrected was the water pressure was still very low they we're told that it was the way it is because of the rain type shower head that was installed in the home. I moved in a week later my friends met me here at the house because they had my keys garage door opener etc and they pointed out the things that were needed to be corrected and hadn't been the next day I met with Juan the project manager who came to my home and I pointed out the things that should have been taken care of prior to my arrival he told me that it wasn't him that met with my friends it was his employee who I can't remember his name my friends told me that it was one and the other guy that they met with the second time I was told then that the refrigerator doors were on back order and that they would be arriving soon it's been 2 weeks and the second door just arrived when I looked at the packing slip it said that they were not ordered until April 13th which was after I got here there's still spots that need to be retouched with paint and I keep getting promises that someone will show no one has taken care of it since. I'm a little disheartened at the response that I'm getting from Juan who apparently is the project manager of these things I've also pointed out a few other things to one that are unacceptable and I keep getting another promise I just hope that these things will be taken care of before the warranty expires. I just noticed and reported to one that there's condensation in the study windows and he assured me that it was still under warranty and would make note of it. I understand that with new homes little things like this come up but I'm not getting the response from KB homes that I should be in my opinion. I don't want excuses I want action and they seem to have failed on that level. I also appreciate someone taking responsibility instead of blaming someone else again I just hope that this is all taken care of soon as I'm settling into my new home it'd be nice to not have to worry about warranty expiration dates and response from a project manager. ... Mike the Superintendent were so great in helping me with this house. He made sure things were done correctly and in order. If it wasn’t for him I probably will be talking to an attorney. So many things wasn’t done right and many of the employees that worked for the company seem not to care about how the structure of the house inside and out were being properly built. Mike made sure it was right, thank you Mike for being an outstanding employee.

KB home will give you the flexibility to customize your home for your needs. Most of the other builders are cookie cutter options.
