“Let see what they have” is the word we spoke to each other before we walked in to the model home. And from the point, all the sell representative, engineers, designers and mortgage processor from KB home are there to help you along the way. Of course there is some homework to do from our part. But once we get all the numbers right, the whole process of home buying for KB is pretty smooth sailing from our experience. Try to establish good communication with KB team and every thing is taken care of in due time. I believe that the Key !!

I loved Home construction quality, all rooms are spacious, I really loved home layout. Experience Sales analyst was excellent.

Known Repairs issues after closing were not rectified.They have mistakenly installed a screen for the patio and uninstall it after realizing it is the wrong house.They promised us that they will change the damaged siding but until now it was not completed.

KB homes was our 1st single family home purchase. We went threw 3 superintendents which was a nightmare many sleepless nights. If you’re looking for detail work you will not find it at KB homes. Superintendents so over booked and worked dealing with you as a homebuyer is like walking into a busy restaurant on a Friday night with poor costumer service. The main guy over all the construction sites that’s worked like 25 years for KB homes is true to his word and will make things right. He is a family man and is kind to help threw hurdles.

I loved working with Jennifer Money and Dan to purchase my new property in Inspirada. They were so lovely to work with and really helped me throughout the entire process. They were available to talk whenever I had a question, they were responsive, helpful, and always smiling.

The KB Home buying experience was amazing. The process was seamless and I felt very confident going into my new home purchase. All of the team was very caring and ensured to address any concerns I had were taken care of.

This whole experience from looking at a model home to moving in has been absolutely great. John was phenomenal and a great person who tried hard and was very capable and supportive. Even after the house was bought, the support has been great! Chad was so nice in making sure everything in the build was what I wanted. The KB home design responded very well to inquiries and requests.

My home-buying, loan, and showroom experiences were outstanding with KB Home. The trouble I had with KB Homes was the completion of my home. The home was three months late, and my project manager was not listening to my concerns. I moved in this February, still have several problems still not been resolved. KB homes are working to fix these issues but the process is very slow. However, my family and I do love our new home.

I have filed 3 better business bureau complaints. so lets start from the beginning. I bought a house on a plot of land i was told I would be able to put a pool in. I paid for the land, I went to the design center and paid 8k for upgrades to my home. From there issue number 1 - I was called and told due to a pipe running under my property I would be loosing 1/4 my yard. My kids would no longer have a pool etc... They offered me another property with a larger yard for a more expensive lot premium. I reluctantly agreed. From that point I told my sales rep Joel I needed to be out by Feb (this was October) I was assured this would be ok. Late December I was told there was a shortage of workers, my house would no longer be ready until the beginning of Feb. I spoke with my land lord who was putting my home up for sale and he agreed to let me stay till Feb 1 thankfully. I have 3 children all under the age of 6 moving 3 times was not in my budget, and being homeless was not appealing either. I was assured again Feb would not be an issue by my sales rep. I heard nothing until I reached out to KB near Feb 1 at which point i was told my home would not be ready until March or potentially April. At this point i was about to pull the plug since I was essentially going to be homeless anyway come Feb 1st. At this point KB offered me a stock home on a larger lot with a higher lot premium HOWEVER the caveat is I would no longer get the upgrades (dual thermostat, tile, counter tops, lights, fixtures, water loop and fireplace) that i PAID FOR. so i took a larger lot, at the monetary loss, have to repay to put all the stuff in my new place etc but it came down to that or having to move multiple times, or simply being homeless. This was the only choice I had as I could not risk my children and I being without a place to live. The inventory home I have is lovely, its not what I wanted, not what I asked for and not what I paid for and had i known this going in I would have gone a different way. I have used other builders for homes in the past and had no or minor issues. nothing like this. I would not use this builder ever again. ... More

Very satisfied with KB Home jobs

KB has been great to work with. From the sales office to the PMs. Everyone has been very helpful and attentive.

We had such an amazing process from start to even after move in. Rosa from day one was super helpful and open communication consistently with weekly updates. I constantly harassed her with all my ridiculous questions and concerns and she was always so gracious with her responses. During the walk through both John and Eric were direct and helpful. Even after I moved in, I had silly small issues but they were immediately addressed and resolved. It was a great first time new build process for us.

The house has been great so far for the 2 months that I’ve lived here. The warranty process on the other hand has been less than ideal. We’ve had some damage before delivery that needed to be replaced and it was submitted during the first month of purchase and the guy was really helpful but nothing has been done so far.

My experience was not great at all. Everything was rushed to close hearing from other workers around working on the home. I was told that KB rushes homes to get #’s skipping big quality checks. employees get treated like numbers no value to the home buyers just searching for good surveys to getting popularity numbers and land to keep building. I’ll be selling my home due to so many things to fix and chasing warranty and kb superiors to resolve once I finished my survey I was let go and no one reached out. I will suggest buy else we’re kb Home isn’t the same 3 years back they were number 1! Now they need a change. ... More

Finish at home to manny details, low quality materials, Iam very upset, i have before new home in other builders and the quality is very different

Sean, Jennifer, Stephanie and Noland have did an excellent job with getting the as well as checking on us to make sure we are satisfied with our home purchase. I must say , WE ARE EXTREMELY SATISFIED...

Great and welcoming! Helpful information and good responsiveness with staff. Sometimes it took a minute or an extra call/email for response but did get back to me with all my questions, and was always available. Workmanship and materials could use a bit of work but expected as a company building multiple houses at once. As a first time home buyer buying a new build, it was a great experience. Overall satisfied and happy with my buy. Thank you!

Warranty followup has been good.

Was able to purchase home after being selected in lottery. I was very excited but Immediately I was rushed and pressured with threats of losing opportunity to buy the house if I didn’t act on multiple request within hours and days after. I was working and traveling and couldn’t dedicate my days to completing every request within hours after being selected for a lottery I didn’t know I was going to win. I wanted to explore other financing opinions other than KB and was bombarded by pushy sales people who called multiple times a week. I felt they created obstacles for me to use an outside lender making me submit extra credit credits and application to KB lender who I didn’t intend to use just so they could force me into hearing what they could offer. My information was also given to 3rd parties who called me constantly which annoyed me to no end. When market for housing began to deteriorate and prices and values were going down I wanted to renegotiate the cost especially since I was told the house would be completed in approximately 6 months and it was approaching a year I didn’t want to be underwater before I even got into the home. I was told I could only get a discount by switching to KB financing which I never intended but was pressured into. When the VA did an appraisal of my home which came back the house was valued less than the loan amount KB asked me to pay a 16k difference which made no sense and threatened again to not sell us the house and take the earnest money. I felt my agent who is a close family friend who was speaking for me and acting in my best interest wasn’t always being talked to with the respect I felt she deserved. About a month before closing I was laid off and KB showed lack of compassion for my situation and used it as a bargaining chip against me trying to get me to pay extra fees for closing being delayed a couple weeks despite the building process being behind 5 plus months. Which should have been a happy time in my family’s life seemed like a stressful rollercoaster with me doubtful that closing would even happen because of the pressure, negotiations and distrust I had developed for KB who would often surprise me with misc fees, obstacles, threats, delays and constant excuses. ... This wonderful home-buying experience was packed with thrills throughout the three months from the time we saw the house to the day we moved in. Maleesa guided us all along the process, expertly advising us. And the house is our forever superb home. Also, with great gratitude to Scott and his team for quick responses and fixes for every little thing that we can think of. KB homes fan for life!

Overall we’re happy of our brand new house.
