Totally great experience from beginning to completion

Had a great easy time buying a KB home staff was great super was very helpfull sales counselor was wonderful.She was the best of all ,thank you Pam and Hope the mortgage loan originator for all your help buying a new home.

KB home was responsive in every step of the home buying experience. We love our new house!

KB Home does not provide high quality homes. We have quickly noticed all the shortcuts that were taken during the building process after moving in. It's obvious many of the subcontractors they hired were rushing and did not take pride in their work. So much so that they ended up firing the first crew and ended up hiring a new one, but a lot of damage was already done with the previous crew that they claim could not be undone. Sales person, designer and contractor have been good! Finance on the other hand was not good, terrible information and was not there for us at closing. Didn’t answer phone or call back on day of closing as we had questions. Customer service for warranty, has terrible lack of time in responding. A simple “ working on it” would suffice but she prefers not to respond at all. Poor cleaning of construction after being in the house.

Been in the house only a few months and we've already decided at the end of the year we're going to sell. Multiple issues including leaks, countertop issues, issues with appliances, paint issues , quality issues, customer service issues, landscaping issues, and more. Customer service has been extremely useless with the exception of one or two helpful incidents. I will never purchase another KB home in my life. What was supposed to be our forever home has now just turned into a short-term living situation.

Love our new home in Inspirada. KB did a good job! Our move was easy and smooth.

Get everything done before the settlement

We are extremely happy with our new home. We had a KB in California and wanted another home built by KB. We had a wonderful experience all the way through.

I have been very please with responses to any issues since I moved into the house, Shelbi does a great job.

Seems like my house in a rush closing. Too Many things to fix after walkthrough.

My experience With Kimberly is top notch! She kept me I informed with the knowledge presented! She explained the process along with realistic timeframe as other folks cannot grasp the concept. Clint was the guy who would update me during the build but after 3 months never heard from him again about the progress. It took almost 11 months for the home to be built due to the market and times. Jeremy, superintendent, knocked it out the ball park with giving me the walkthrough and taping stuff prior to close. Jeremy did his absolute best to get things addressed with folks building the homes and even after closing they are coming out to fix when Jeremy and I follow up with each other. KB Finance needs to communicate in full and not have someone agree to a long term lock without informing the cost of it. The folks who built the homes in my community are having issues as we came together and shared things but it happens. KB is a great home builder they just need to assess who they hire to build the homes as the tile folks hired didn’t seem to care much about the work done as some of my tiles are not lined up, cracked and damaged. Only repairs the tile people did was the glass piece in the middle, I’m aware they got tanked. Painters got copious amount of paint throughout the carpets and texture stuff was taped and not completed. Some side moldings have a gap between them, the stone pieces in the front are all over the roof and didn’t clean that part off. Cabinets that were damaged they attempted to paint over it but used the wrong paint color. Homes still being built they allow trash to go anywhere. My complaints obviously are the ones doing the work as it seems no care since they want to come out multiple to do a task that can be completed once. Service quality professional after-sales patience

We had a very positive experience with the whole process of purchasing this new home, and to note it is our family’s first home. My kids love that they have their own rooms and I personally like the style of the house itself. Everyone that we encountered throughout this journey were very nice, polite, and responds quick to any of our concerns or questions. Overall we had a great experience.

KB home loan team is the worst in my experience. They fail to provide me the options and the lock terms of 7 months and the extensions. I have a credit score of 809 still ended up with 6.25 percent interest with their proposal to lock for 12 months. Where as other neighbours got other locking months and rate, and information of what to do when construction time extends.

The standards are far below what they should be for this price point. I felt like I had to oversee construction to get anything close to what it should be and still have quality issues that will never be right.
