We are hoppy to move in to our new house, unfortunately there are still alot of thing need to be done. My tip is to hire a private inspector and a realtor when purchasing a home, brand new or not. Make sure you dont need to rush on your closing date so that the builder will finish everything before moving in.

Hello! Everything has been great so far.

3 months delay caused a closing on a higher interest rate. Finishing wasn't that good. Everything in the house is a standard and you have to pay to upgrade, upgrades only cost me $31k. Little details could make difference and help me save money such as adding a towel hanger next to the shower. But one employee can change your experience and I have to thank the superintendent Bobby who delivered my house, he is super nice and professional.

The most dedicated and hardworking team built my home and I am very thankful for them

Well............from the time we signed purchase agreement to move in, in between that period it was ok, it's when the walk through came up...I will stop right here because there is not enough space to leave a review for that. Overall, we are not happy to say the least.

yes, i would buy another house in the future from KB HOME. And i would recommend my friends to buy houses with this Company.

We were very excited about purchasing our new home, and we were told it would take about 9 months, it turned out that it took about 13 months. We were informed as the months and weeks leading up to closing. We defiantly love our new home and can't wait to make it our own.

The sales experience was good. During the build, some issues were brought up and were either VERY slow to address or never addressed at all. Clearly the sub-contractors rushed through their work to go on to the next job at the expense of sloppy, mediocre workmanship. Attention to detail is lacking. Communication was poor, to include nearly non-existent follow-up. Maybe this is all KB specific, or maybe it is industry wide with all the big builders. Either way, KB could do so much better by simply hiring a construction manager who was competent, organized, and communicates often and well.

The house has been occupied since January 2023, and still no usage of Solar System. Shame om KB Homes and SunPower with their poor quality of service. Nobody cares after we have bought the house!!

The team that was assembled to help me with my buying process sarah, david, Bo sales rep loan processor and general contractor worked as a team stayed in contact with me on all phases of the long All phases of the buying process and All phases of the construction David the contractor went above and beyond the call of duty even a few weeks after I moved in Thanksgiving to the KB HOME TEAM

Overall, KB Homes did a good job of helping us to move into our new home. I do wish the material/workmanship was better, but most issues have been fixed. Consequently, we are glad to be in our new home.

Don’t buy from kB! It’s been a nightmare since we got here.workmanship is terrible and repairs are slow and sloppy! Don’t Buy from Kb!

Everything was going smoothly and satisfyingly until closing approached. After multiple last-minute delays to closing, we felt rushed into forking our money over, and then we were promised that any remaining issues at the home would be addressed shortly with wording like, 'right now', 'later today', or 'tomorrow'. More often than not, this was not the case, and it felt like we were taken for a ride. Seemed like they got our money, and then forgot about us. Took over 2 months post-closing to get almost all of the issues addressed, in what could've taken a week or two, at most, for nearly every item, with coordinate effort. Bad quality interiors like floors and paint

The overall experience was bumpy… we started the process oct 2021 and didn’t close until Dec 2022. Which, in that period of time had no contact with anyone to update on the status of the home process. And, the closing date was moved multiple time. It took me driving by the house everyday from the time the slab was started until it was basically close to completion. Then I started getting updates that weren’t updates, they were pictures from old work. I dove by and walked through the house everyday getting my own updates and seeing progress. The process of getting the loan finalized and necessary paper work done was a breeze, Kim was fantastic. Up to the days getting closer to closing, I feel like a lot of work on the house was getting rushed and quality was going down keeping us from closing in time. Our construction manager was awesome! He did a great job trying to keep everything under control. Closing went smooth, we were told that they would do a one month follow up and come through and touch up paint and fix stuff that needed addressed, that never happened. Fast forward to Jan 23, we developed a water leak in the kitchen above the sink on the ceiling. Called warranty and they were on it. ... More

From start to finish KB took care of us. No complaints.

It seems like I am living in a dream world. My home is so welcoming and nice, also the neighborhood is great.

We had some problems with our appraisal being appraised a lot lower than homes with the exact 1582 floor plan in our Timberleaf neighborhood.

Overall, we are pleased with the sales, construction and financing. We have an irregular driveway that did not get resolved properly. We were compensated which we do appreciate. The quality of the construction is better than expected. Insulation for the internal walls should be a standard for construction.

The team made me feel comfortable every step of the way, I am so appreciative to have them by my side with my first home buying experience.

While we are happily moved into our new home, the process to get that was frustrating and did not represent KB Homes well We rarely were communicated with, or given proper information, even when emailing and calling almost every day at some points. We were told things were being handled and they weren’t, we were given inaccurate timelines, and we were frequently ignored. We are incredibly patient people, so even at the beginning we waited 6 weeks to hear anything from our sales rep. It took us emailing her and calling her multiple times to get a design appointment booked, and it wasn’t until we got a bit more assertive that we got one booked (way later than we were told). Issues weren’t being handled as they popped up. For example, we addressed that the bathroom tile was poorly done (overlapping/wobbly grout lines that made the tile looked warped) days after installation in October and were told vaguely it was being handled, but as we continued to visit we continued to see nothing change. We continued to bring up this issue for weeks after. When we did our pre-close walk through, it still sat exactly the same, and that was in December. That issue delayed our closing, almost causing us to move in 2023 and have to live with relatives until it was done. Another issue was that a lot of our pending items are still not completed and we are pretty much being ignored at this point. I can’t help but thinking that if we had had a better sales rep, construction manager, or anyone who was actually willing to help, we would’ve had a better experience. Poor communication, lack of information, no follow through, and feeling very in the dark during our first home buying/building process, is what is causing our low review.
