I bought my first home with KB. The process has a lot of loopholes and I would recommend it’s best for folks who put their due diligence throughout the process. Some aspects of the sales process is very scammy and I have discussed the same with my neighbours and they agree. I was promised so many things before the purchase of the home and after the purchase, poor quality products were installed and the customer service representative gave an excuse that they’re not in the business of top quality home building. It’s almost like they were nice and good to the homes buyers until the home purchase is done. And once the process is over, you’re on your own and told the things installed are what they could do in the budget. The houses are definitely priced high and the quality of countertop, doors, garage sensors, elevation in porch is very bad. And these are just a few things to name. While the home KB delivered is certainly a fine home, I'd wager there are ways to get a fine home with less headache. After being in the home a while, it's clear where some costs were cut. Certain things were unfinished or wrong: a chandelier with no lightbulbs, the door to the garage was installed backward, a nail sticking out of the stairs, a shrub promised in the front that has never been installed, several dozen large nails left on the deck/backyard. Many of these left undone after I was told they would all be fixed. A free additional bucket of paint was promised that I've never received. Additionally, it has been very difficult to get ahold of people and to hear back. I have purchase home before but have not been treated as well as the KB Homes employees. Starting with the sale representative Cliff who guided me through the process of home buying. Hector who took the time from his busy scheduled to show me step by step of the construction process all the way and even now when I have questions or concern. Wilfredo very helpful and willing to help me with any issues with my new home. Alex very concern about the homeowner satisfaction and always followed up with any homeowners' issues and assured me that it will be taken care by repairing or replacing anything that I find wrong with my new home. The above-mentioned KB employees went beyond and above to make sure I was satisfied with my new home. They all deserve recognition for their professionalism and concern for homeowners' satisfaction. ... More

This is my experience with the KB home buying process and current warranty cycle. I'm sure others have had different experiences. As mentioned in my survey to KB homes, KB falls in line with most other home builders when it comes to displaying their product, the extras and what your home could look like once completed. They are knowledgably, accountable, and ready to go to the ends of the earth to get one the home of their dreams. This was my experience. However, that experience changed as soon as I closed on the home, the adjective - "accountable" flew out the door. Teams changed and no longer was communication or accountability even a concern. All homes have minor challenges and mine is no different. Understanding that the KB team has to deal with supply chain issues, resourcing challenges and changing priorities I have always tried to be fair with timelines asking for things to be remedied in weeks not days. Trust me I understand I’m not the only homeowner going through these first month pains. With everyone negotiation (or pleading) with the KB team to get things fixed they have promised and never delivered. I feel very dumb even asking for (and agreeing on timelines) because its now a custom that they won’t get completed per our agreed date. It’s been frustrating to say the least. I have been lucky that my issues are not big ones, but the list keeps growing. Sales experience has been thorough, personalized, and beyond expectations.

We could not have gotten any luckier with our KB team. Stan, Ed, and Yasmin made the entire experience seamless, we felt heard and valued throughout the process and supported during our transition to TX. Would definitely recommend KB to anyone.

We love our home, KB staff was and still are greatly helpfull, they are always a call away and responsive. The 3 most important staff where: Patty H. who helpd us make good decisions (we had no experience with home buys), Johnny D. made sure we were happy with our purchase and Alexis is making sure we stay happy. Overall I think KB has provided us with a home we will cherish fore years to come

I would recommend KB home to any buyers looking to purchase a new home. John with sales is one of the best new home's agents in the business. Kb home warranty does a great job taking care of customers after closing and truly goes above and beyond, Chad has helped us out tremendously. Keep up the good work. Our House delivery was delayed multiple time in the name of quality deliverables. At the end when we got house and started living. We started encountering many major issues (not including smaller issues). 1. Carpet was making noise almost everywhere on 2nd floor. 2. Poor finish at every corner. 3. Poor drainage, our backyard and front yard became swimming just after first rain. 4. Our garage was full of water. 5. Multiple walls joint dont have 90% turn. (Hard to explain but loos very odd) 6. Vinyl planks on first floor are poorly fitted. 7. Couple of cabinets were not even closing and others not fitted properly. 8. To our surprise a huge construction started right after closing which close our backyard for any sunlight for which we opted for this house. Having known this, we would have never bought it. ... Nice home and nice service

Tami was our original agent. She was relocated to a different community. Harvey stepped in a did a great job. On the construction side Alex and Daniel were great! Josie crunched the numbers for us time and time again. She was thorough Anna very communicative.

Overall my experience is good. I can trust KB home .cannot think of anything to complain

Minnie was very helpful to us and provided outstanding service to us. She wouldn't hesitate to reach out or answer any questions that we had.

Purchased a quick buy option. Oscar, from sales office, was fantastic. He would send me updated pictures of my house. The build took longer than I expected but due to supply chain issues and lack of workforce was reason for delay. Over all I am very pleased.

Overall I am happy with my new home. However, the process took much longer than I had anticipated. This was probably due to a shortage of workers and difficulty obtaining materials. The 30 day warranty check did not happen. I am anticipating the 60 day check. There are just a few items that need to be fixed in my home.

I’m appalled at the fact that in the last few weeks it’s either my water heater stops working or my thermostat shuts down or my range shuts down the breaker and I have to boil waters in kettles in a brand new home

Barry from Sales Office is great to work

Just found out that the downstairs bathroom is flooding our walls around it and now growing mold. Kitchen sink had construction debris, with a wood chip clogged in the Ling causing sputtering and low pressure to the sink. Misaligned windows are still not aligned. Doorknobs installed in the wrong room and installed backwards and a bathroom missing locks. Kitchen GFI and gas stove on the same circuit tripping the outside breaker when even turning on the oven light.

There are outlets that are not working that we have to figure out one by one as we install some of our electrical appliance such as ceiling fan, also some kitchen outlets are not working, we have to take a time off to attend to someone for them to do repairs such as opening a dry wall, they do not work on Saturdays when it should be them that should be more flexible since it is a faulty installation.
