The beginning process was very good. They answered all my questions and kept me Posted along the way. However, I decided to go with KB’s finance department and it was the worse experience ever. Just one month before closing, they decided to not approve me after all and the agent who was handling my loan lied about the reasons why all of a sudden didn’t qualify. I then had to go with a different lender. Serious integrity issues. It was a complete nightmare dealing with KB in general. Thomas helped us a lot during the whole process. From beginning to end, we did not have any issue. Every thing was was smooth.

Very satisfactory after sales service

There had been sooo much delay in the building process that I don't believe can be explained by the pandemic problem. There had been a quick transition with supervisors and I am under the impression that this is the problem. Nick is great but I hope KB can at least keep their good people.

My building supervisor, Nick is great. He has a great personality and is very patient. He listens to all my "concerns" and respond promptly. He even picks up his cell phone on weekend when I have a blown fuse in my kitchen and gave me advice. He had accommodate and assist me to change my initial walk through date when I had some oral surgery done in NY. I had a condo in NY LI area and my experience with KB home and Nick opens my eyes on how excellent builders respond to their customer after the sales. KB could write the text book on customer care. They truly earn their motto on "relationship building". I am impressed that a lot of employees purchase KB homes in the vicinity. This substantiate the quality of their work. An "insider" knows true quality. Overall my experience is extremely positive. It makes my 3000 miles move form LI to NV very worthwhile. I also want to mention Venessa who is my sales representative. If you are optimizing for the price, KB is the builder to go for. You get what you pay for. Usually, there are no high ceilings. Even gutters are not included in the base price. The finish will not be as great as other builders in the market.

I am happy with the KB Homes built quality, very good floor plans. The house has good sun light, good number of windows etc.,

Definitely a great builder with great customer service. Would recommend to anyone.

Everyone I worked with to buy my home was very helpful.

So many things wrong with the house. Sloppy workmanship on cabinets, baseboard, patio door and carpet. Getting so many appointments scheduled to fix things that should have been done right the first time is cutting into my work schedule and making it hard to get to doctors appointments. So I’m just done. I’m so tired of trying to schedule and reschedule these appointments and have people interfere with my workday that I will likely just leave many items as they are instead of having them fixed.

Clearly dont buy KB Home

Pressed board kitchen cabinets and vanities, not even wood. Front door fell off one of the kitchen drawers after only 6 wks in the house. No drawers in either vanity cabinets. Refrig door handle falling off. Cheap bathroom fixtures. Kitchen cabinets too far up from the counter top. Can only reach first 2 shelves, others are useless. Just a lot of short cuts.

Craftsmanship was horrible. Moved in my house almost two months ago and touch up is still needed. Cabinets are not done. Horrible experience.

Deborah had our interests at heart and really went out of her way to make the long buying experience much less painful. She was available to answer our questions, and ensure we had, and understood, each step of the buying process. She facilitated the process and made it easier.

Great communication from the entire team, especially Bobby the superintendent who would always clearly and promptly inform us of the progress and potential delays. There was a ton of honesty in the process which gave us a ton of peace of mind. Now our young family has our dream home!

Almost two months after closing, we still waiting for window and roof repairs to be done! Had two appointments scheduled, but the KB repair staff was never showed up.

Should had built with another builder in different neighborhood.

All the team members were excellent and responsive.

Process is slow on loan approval due to poor communication between builder , loan coordinator and appraiser. Appraiser was not communicating well
