From the beginning to the end of our buying experience it has been pretty straightforward. No back and forth and great response time. Even at closing we were aloud an additional walkthrough to ensure all our issue had been fixed and given extended time after close to raise any other issues that may have risen after move in. The warranty team is amazing. My only issue would be that they have multiple times sent workers to fix said issues that don't speak English and struggles to explain the problem, I would suggest to send an interpreter or someone who speaks English to at least monitor and get the job started upon initial contact with the customer. We had a great experience with the KB team. Kevin has been very responsive and helpful and the team didn't stop reaching out to help even after our move in. They seem committed to making sure we're comfortable in our new home.

Our experience with the builder's team was excellent. They were professional, courteous, and helpful throughout the entire process. They delivered on what they promised and kept us informed every step of the way. Whenever we had questions or concerns, they responded promptly and worked to resolve them in a timely manner. I took off points of my review after going through a not so pleasant experience with a certain customer service rep. However, after communicating with Nicole *****, things have turned for the better. Nicole has made the whole customer service experience much better as she is 100% more responsive and smoother.

[TRANSLATED FROM ES] The staff inspires confidence, and the house's design and space are fabulous. One area for improvement is communication. They have a great team and attend to the details that every new house has, but if they don't communicate that they've resolved the issue and how, the client doesn't find out until they visit the house and see that it's already been fixed.

The person who was supposed to follow up with me tried to reach out to me once via phone but that was it. I guess he came by the house while I was at work and introduced himself to my parents. They said he seems really nice and they gave him the list of items that might need looking at but nothing has been done. Also, there looks to be some oil "spills" or something like that on the rocks/gravel in my front yard that makes it look bad. Not sure who to contact.

Make sure the showroom picks are correct with the construction supervisor. The wrong faucets, shower head & shower door hinges were put in the primary bathroom. I picked brushed nickel throughout the home but chrome was put in primary bathroom. It took one month to get them changed out. I'm still waiting for warranty work on flooring & painting. It will be 2 months on August 5th & hopefully the work will be completed soon.

It's a gamble on what crew you get for various trades. Some were good and some were very bad. The Superintendent should be more involved in the day-to-day quality checks and more on top of poor work. Instead, that was my job to bring things to his attention. They still didn't complete what we asked by closing.

Nice home , but plenty of cosmetic issues, and the ***** is terrible, parking problems , plenty of repairs needed on the first year or purchase

KB homes needs to get more experience builders to build their homes. The builders did an horrible job on building their houses. They took too much short cuts in building the house. I have never moved into a new home that has so many issues such as the electrical. Plumbing, drywall, doors, kitchen sink, holes under the doors which caused the house to be filled with ants and other bugs, and door handles falling off in my hands. For the money spent on these homes homeowners should not have the problems we're having. I hope these issues can be resolved as soon as possible as possible. I closed on my home since May and it is now July and things are still not resolved. ... More

I was excited when I first moved in, but since I've been very disappointed with the quality of materials used I.e. door handles are falling off, towel racks falling off, concrete work was terrible and had to be redone twice, backyard absolutely full of weeds and lumpier the lunar surface. I gave up on asking for all the things to be repaired because they just keep putting me in touch with the contractors to schedule and handle the issues myself. The back rock wall facing the street looks like it's about to fall over (*****) dead trees everywhere in the neighborhood access street, weed-filled vacant lots that are unkept with trash blowing around the neighborhood. Amanda in the sales team was excellent and made the buying process straightforward. Unfortunately, our experience changed significantly after we moved in. We purchased a model home and encountered several issues, including poorly installed curtain poles, a faulty water heater, and an HVAC system that was noisy due to an installation problem. The response from customer service was consistently disappointing. Too many concerns were dismissed with "it's not under warranty" simply because it was a model home, even when they appeared to be build quality or installation issues. Kyle was very responsive before closing but much less so afterwards, and getting support from the warranty team was frustrating. Communication was slow, follow-up was inconsistent, and we ultimately had to pay for major repairs ourselves, including replacing the *****. The workmanship itself wasn't bad overall, but the after-sales support and willingness to stand behind the home fell well below our expectations. A home purchase is judged not only by the build quality but also by how issues are handled after move-in, and that's where KB Home let us down. ... More

Have essentially had to full time project manage this build and re explain and re document at least 10 times what the issues are. Awful attention to detail and shortcuts taken that are not within builder tolerance for proper finishing work. We love Susan our loan lady. She was gold.
