My name is not important what I'm about to tell you is. I used this company to find my forever home and we are highly disappointed with our purchase. First of all they do not honor the soilder that fought for this country. They told me they do not deal with VA loans and that would mean I had to do a conventional loan. They will attempt to sell you a house with shotty craftsmanship. They have amassed great wealth at the cost of the buyer. There homes come with the bare minimum. I.E. laminated flooring and maybe some tile for bathroom or kitchen. Then when you inspect the work closely you will see the flaws that they want you to pay top dollar for. You pay close to 400.000 for a home with not one ceiling fan or a garage door opener. They even reduce the size of the driveway that is supposed to allow 2 cars to fit comfortably. When I took ownership of the property, then walk the home and found that paint was spilled on the floors throughout the entire house. I spoke with the salesman and informed him of this, he stated it would be taken care of, it never happened. So to sum things up this company is all about the money and forget about you once the deal is closed. Take it from a company that is living the life of capitalism at its best here in America. My experience was not very good, as a matter of fact it was less than desirable. There were so many outstanding issues that needed to be fixed before closing date that I still waiting to be fixed almost 2 months later. I waited 11 months 3 weeks for the house to be completed, I would have gladly waited another week. The way the home was turned over to my was just UNACCEPTABLE!! It was dirty, paint splatter on the bathroom and kitchen floor, missing lights in the bathroom, bedroom door unable to lock, painted shower head in the bathroom, chipped cabinets and much more but you get the idea. The only thing that we feel is not ok is the way the patio was left. We were told it's up to code but it is dangerous. The step down onto the lawn is way too high. It would be great if a step was added to the patio. Other than that we love our house.

Given misinformation from the beginning. I chose my lot based on being told the last 15’ of my yard was a setback, not an easement. That was not true. Everything only got worse from there. I was supposed to close in November 2021, I didn’t close until June 2022. My lot set empty and untouched until nearly November, then it was thrown up in 4months. Because they didn’t have the house ready when it was originally set to close, my interest rate went up 3.25%. I was nearly priced out of my home. So they rushed to close me, because if they didn’t, I would have lost the house I had been showing my kids would be their new home for the last 15months. The quality of workmanship was poor. Screws are already popping out of the drywall, door frames aren’t painted, crooked studs on my frame that makes my walls look like they are bowed and wavy, driveway has clumps on concrete, porch stairs are crooked and has holes in them. When I closed on my home, the punch list had about 30items on it that should have been done prior to closing, but I was reassured that they would all be addressed within the first couple of weeks living there. I’ve lived there 6weeks. 3.5 things from that list have been resolved. Everything else is still sitting there. I get reassured every week that the items will be corrected that week, but weeks come and go, I rearrange work schedules to be there, but no one shows or nothing gets done. In addition to the $500/m I have to pay for increased interest rates, every time I have to change my schedule to accommodate these “repairs”, it cost me time and money. I keep hearing “I understand your frustration”, but THEIR understanding doesn’t make up for a fraction of the amount of money it has and will cost me over the life of my loan because they are incompetent at their jobs and do not hold themselves or tradesmen accountable. I only wish I could do my job as poorly as KB has and still collect my paycheck. This entire experience has sucked any joy out of the home buying process. If I could go back in time and make a different decision, I would not have bought this home. Because when I chose to buy a KB Home 15 months ago, I had other options. Now, I don’t. But I will never buy a KB Home again and I am telling everyone I know to not buy one either. I really hope that wherever the breakdown in skill/communication/accountability/integrity is resolved because no one deserves the experience that I had with KB. Sale rep and construction not on the same page, various items not completed prior to final walk through. Slow to f/u with ticket claims with home warranty service advisor for community. Overall not a great experience.

After a year of searching, KB Home had a beautiful house for us in Casa Grande. The entire process was smooth. Thank you!

We love the home. Minor setbacks during the process. But final product was worth it.

You guys consistently didn’t deliver what you said. At closing the lights in the bathrooms were off, the appliances weren’t what I ordered, etc etc etc. your staff is not up to par. I paid cash for three KB’s in the last 4 years, this will be my last.

I was very pleased with the service I received at KB everyone was very helpful and professional. I’m now a 1st time homeowner whereby I’m truly grateful. Thank you All

Through the process of finding a house I had an issue of not finding value for the prices asked in the market until i saw KB homes, you get what you pay for

Construction workmanship quality is lacking, lots of corners cut, follow up and fixes from construction supervisor is almost nonexistent. The promises for all hands on deck to fix a multitude of issues was not delivered.

Amazing service. Overall I love kb home they respond on time they take care of you after closing ur house as well I recommend to everyone buy kb home I have great experiences with Daniel Ramirez superintendent he is such a gave wonderful service after closing my house I appreciate for Daniel I thankful to kb and tracee she help us lot for whole paperwork she explained everything very well and all kb home team Arnold Sanchez CR he gave great service very quick overall I thankfull all people and love kb home

Lived in my house less than 45 days and multiple things have broken, my garage wouldn’t work and then my washing machine broke. Brand new washing machine and trying to figure out who to contact and if it was under warranty or if I’m responsible to cover costs was frustrating. Everyone was pointing fingers at each other. I love my house but I feel like as a new build less than 60 days living in it I shouldn’t be having these many problems already.

Buying your first home can be a stressful process but grateful to have the team at KB Homes guide us through it. Eric and Veronica were both always there to help and super responsive. We never felt like we were alone or confused during the process.

Every aspect of the buying experience was good.

The purchase experience was excellent, Joe in the sales team always kept us up to date with the development of the construction by sending weekly videos of the progress, it was a very beautiful process in which I have to highlight Don Carlos who solved us all the details at the end, I also want to thank all the other people who were involved in this whole buying experience, such as Jackie, Fabian, Joy, Kyle, Lauren, thank you very much for all the favors received, I highly recommend KBH to do the dream of your new home come true.

I have had great experience with the sales staff. No complaints there. Quality of service by design studio staff and Quality of craftsmanship by all trades need improvement. There were many repairs that took long time to be addressed and still one issue that has not been addressed. This issue isn’t primarily with KB home but with Sub contractors and KBHOMES not having control over sub contractors it hires.

New home buying experience was not bad, kept us pretty up to date. Minor issues after move in that are still being addressed. Getting those issues fixed is taking awhile. Home is nice but can tell some stuff was built in a rush

Great service and a great quality

Overall we are happy to have the home but towards the end of the build it was very difficult to get issues addressed or fixed in a timely manner. There were even several small issues they promised to fix after move in because we were so fed up with the delays and needed to move. Suffice to say we’ve been here a few months now and none of the issues have been taken care of. We were also told there would be a complementary 30 day paint touch up that has definitely not happened. Feels like we were on our own after we moved in.
