KB Home Reviews

I found a lot of mixed reviews on KB Homes and was initially very skeptical. Now being in our home for 2.5 months, it was the best choice for us at the time. All of the KB Homes employees we worked with and continue to work with are wonderful. Many things happened during our journey that were out of their control, mainly worker shortage and supply chain issue due to the pandemic. We understand all of this so choose to judge based on the quality of care and information we got from the KB team. The strengths of the team we worked with are communication, friendliness, informative, and patient. KB Homes isn’t going to build you a custom home with every single little detail you could ever want. The contractors they use are probably local and could be hit or miss. We accepted this and we’re luckily able to be close enough to our new build that we went to see it multiple times per week, taking hundred of photos. During the building process, we found several items that needed to be corrected and KB worked with the contractors right away to fix them. I am happy to have bought my first home with KH Home. The whole experience was joyful!

Overall it was a very good experience

Quality of workmanship can be better. Left the home uncleaned at the time of closing, a bit disappointed on that for sure.

Make sure you get the correct closing date, before you start transferring your Utilities and storage and the rent apartments that you are in at the time

Everyone is very responsive to my needs. I call for repairs or issues and I get immediate response.

Every person involved in the process from actual signing of the contract to detailed follow ups and updates during the construction process is great. Then the follow ups are done in a very timely manner.:,

Communication with the sales team was great, and it was great to see each step of the process. Communication with the build team did fall off towards the end, but overall the entire process was relatively easy and there weren't any major issues or concerns.

I enjoyed all the process, I was updated at every litle step answer all the question . I had. I recommend KBhome to every body. the things I love most is their floor plan I have now all the space needed for my kids.

To me, Sale, design, and Super for KB are awesome and amazing people to work with. My sale counselor was updating me with all the info and always there when I need know either the first or second on the waitlist. My design counselor was staying with us for additional 3 hours for us to pick all the stuffs. That was awesome. Our original super left the company so the other super had to step in to help from other subdivision. He was pretty great to work with and honest with anything we asked. The only thing that making my wife not happy were our back patio door wasn’t lock properly even though we locked it. Our lock for garage door same thing which not lock properly and the track was a little loose. Our cabinet got a little scratches but we got the touch up kit so we are okay. And some damages on drywall that wasn’t fix right. If KB can hire the better GCs to do their work that would be perfect. ... More

KB’s model is cheaper the better.

KB Home was very personable and went out of their way to help me through the process of buying my new home. Even before my closing, they helped me coordinate needed deliveries and made sure things were safe and secure.
