Easy transition from old house to the newly built.

My home is beautiful, and exactly as I wanted. There were a couple of hiccups in the building process, but they always responded quickly and fixed whatever the issue was. Now that I've lived here for almost 2 months I've noticed some small things that needed attention, and they have still responded quickly, and they have not given me any grief about fixing anything. I love the neighborhood as well because it is small and no CDD fees. Overall, I am very satisfied with my choice to go with KB Homes and I absolutely love my home.

My sales person was the very best and professional. She was very very responsive to every query.

The design center and regular walks of the ongoing construction is important.

Quality could be a little better but treated well by sales and others involved in the buying transactions and warranty transactions.

Good help and they worked fast

All of the pre closing issues with the house were fixed by Russ and Rob to our liking.

We had very few issues with our home build. The local sales office, our loan representative and most of all, our building contractor, Gilbert, made all the difference. They were very responsive and went above and beyond the call. We did experience a few issues with the main corporate office and the "personal touch" could've been better. Paperwork was lost, including our earnest money check. The corporate office said they found our earnest check, but we're still waiting for that refund because we had to come up with extra cash at closing to make up for that. But the home is very well built and small issues like a misaligned cabinet door have been addressed. I would also note that the Studio process of selecting options could be a little more streamlined, less convoluted and easier to navigate. Pricing can be confusing and some options like lighting can be more expensive than just purchasing your own lights and installing them yourself. I was VERY satisfied with my home and would purchase a KB home in the future based on my experience. The home is energy efficient, well built (my home inspector said so) and I was particularly impressed with the hybrid water heater! The only problems I have are: 1. standing water on the sides of the house due to poor grading or the fact that the houses are too close to drain well. 2. noticed that my lawn grass was not rooted properly either due to the builder not watering daily for the first 30 days or that it was already dried out when placed on the lot. This has caused my grass to shrivel and die in places unless we have continuous rain. 3. The worker who laid the tile left small pieces of concrete all over the floor instead of cleaning up after his work. This was disappointing. ... More

Be aware after living here for a month or so I find the workmanship was very rushed to be specific the finish work like the calking and wall repairs and trim fitment and the clean up! Also kb could spend a little more to put better product like door handles soft close hinges and don’t paint the door hinges!!!

Everything seemed great when I first moved in but after a few days I noticed a lot of discrepancies in my home. I had a leak in my sink since the builder failed to check for any leaks, a conduit was missing from my bedroom and overall I was not happy with how long it takes to the warranty person to come and check everything out. I was promised a top of the line home and that was not given to me.

My home is great, but I have been having issues getting my furnace working properly. Hopefully this gets fixed soon before it starts snowing. Beautiful home, but it would be better with working heat.

KB names go long way. Great home buying and customer service from Jane and Joseph.

The whole process was amazing but the best part was finally moving in. House was build pretty quick and well build. The whole team was very respectful and responsive. Pedro who was my sales representative did an amazing job keeping updated with anything corporate related. Hector who was the superintendent didn’t let me miss anything as far as building process, super awesome guy. KB Homes is the way to go, you will get your build house like no other.

It seems that this house was a rush build - which left a lot of deficiencies. The customer service and warranty team are diligently working on issues.
