Well, overall this was a good buying experience for me. I should mention that this was not my first home buying experience but it was a first new build purchase & first in the state of Florida; I am from the Northeast. Doing things from that far away was a challenge. I was glad that I was well versed! My star rating would have been a 4 & 1/2 but there is no half-star so I keep it at 4*

Contractor was good and made closing easier

Mortgage team is great and great incentives for veterans. We got everything we requested. Great and easy process.

Zack and Stacy did a great job helping us all along the way.

The purchasing experience is good and smooth. After purchasing, new residents initial settle in support could be better. A new home owner's book could be developed with all relevant information in one manual book. (e.g., we still don't have place to find set up direction on our heating and air conditioning system when it messed-up by power outage...)

Construction process was well explained and manager kept us updated on progress. Pre and post sale resources are good, issues identified are being rectified on time.

I appreciate that everything was explained to me plainly and all contacts were responded to timely.

Overall I've been happy with buying the house and the service!

I like my home.

My overall experience was OK The builder personnel were pleasant. Improvement can be demonstrated with "Attention to Detail!" You do not expect to do upkeep work on your new home. Loose door knobs (I have tightened them already) Paint spots on the floor Stains on the shower floor Paint over spray on some bathroom fixtures Baseboard Trim could be touched up. The floors were not thoroughly clean (Chalky, dusty) Floor Trim on the thresholds poorly painted Island Light Fixtures needed cleaning Outdoor covered porch ceiling needs painting Covered Porch ceiling light has a gap (potential bug entry) Lawn poorly presented, needs fertilizer and Nitrogen Some sod is dead due to rocks in the soil Decorative wood piece on Island is lose (Needs to be fixed) Calking or Paint on the out sliding glass doors needs to be removed and painted. It was a fairly simple buying experience.

We purchased this KB home very recently and living in it for around two months now. Build quality looks good to us, outer wall including window panels are of solid quality. Great insulation ! Good quality flooring. Builder was also very responsive and took care of all the issues (mostly minor) that we faced once we moved in. Although we expected few things could be much better such as kitchen counter top which seems to be cheap builder grade quality. Also, kitchen appliances like dishwasher, oven (range) etc- they were very basic and builder grade quality. I think apart from these we liked everything in the house. ... More

My overall experience was pretty good. Any issues or concerns I had the Project manager made sure these things were addressed.

I'm not happy about how much pressure on my getting in the home and the fact kb home's refuse to work with my realtor giving myself and her a very difficult time and most of the time I was asked for the same thing over and over again and I was rushed to get into the home,kb home's wouldn't wait until the sale of my other home, and the first construction manager was doing a good job sad to see him go

Last Sunday for the first time we were going to use the washer and is not working. It doesn't start.

They showed a genuine effort to understand and meet customer needs, and their follow-up and communication were consistent and reliable. The quality of materials used in the home itself is solid, and it’s clear they value good workmanship. However, I did feel the process was a bit rushed at times, with pressure to stick to tight timelines. It would have been helpful to have more flexibility to carefully consider decisions along the way. Also, while many options were great, some upgrades felt lower in quality than expected, so I recommend choosing upgrades thoughtfully and asking detailed questions before committing. We are enjoying our new KB home. Brad, the sales consultant, was phenomenal. He was very educated in KB homes. He kept us informed, and helped in the home buying process and any concerns we had, he got them fixed quick. The home looks beautiful. Chris, the superintendent, was very nice and built a wonderful home. He was attentive to any questions we had. The only negative we had was the design selection experience, but when I told them my concerns, they were very speedy on resolving the issues. After her resolution, I have been happy with the overall design. Our customer service consultant Heather was wonderful. She helped us learn about the home and all its features. Alvaro was the Construction Super for my home in Shoreline Park. He was very attentive and responsive to all my questions. He thoroughly explained each step of the construction process to ensure I understood. He was very responsive to my calls and emails. Alvaro was also proactive in letting me know about any delays (some issues beyond the control of KB Homes) so I could take appropriate measures to minimize impact to scheduling for close and moving. I felt well informed through the whole construction period. KB honored their comitents related to appraisal values and financing incentives to ensure I was getting maximum value for my home purchase. Buying a home was a good experience overall. Although there was some confusion at the beginning—especially around the sale process—the team eventually handled things well. The loan department and customer service other departments were helpful, and they worked to clear up the issues. In the end, they made the overall experience pretty smooth and positive.

It was a bit of a process, but both Janice and Trevor were great and very helpful in dealing with the stresses of purchasing the new home. Highly recommended.

It was quite easy and speedy. My own challenge was that they had to change loan officer 3 times during my process. After the change I had to resubmit every document which was stressful for me.
