The wall material is very cheap, any little bump and it scratches the paint off. Should use higher quality paint please. The rest of the house is good.

The people we have worked with have been fantastic. The house was an inventory home, and will be more difficult to make for our lifestyle. Bathrooms without storage is something we haven’t seen. There are some details that need attention. But we have had nothing but great support from Karen and Brent. They are an asset to your company. I briefly spoke with Chris, our KB Home Warranty professional and look forward to talking to him again as time moves on. I called Whirlpool to schedule a repair but the wait time was 90 minutes last night (20 January at 6pm). That seems excessive

It was pretty easy on picking out a style house I liked

We purchased a new home that was already planned, so didn't have the opportunity to visit the design center. However, the home was well planned and had a nice package of upgrades. Since moving in the team has been very responsive to any repairs needed. The sales team was responsive as well. Based on KB's reputation and current responses, I have peace of mind for the future.

Good price on new construction homes.

Overall I had a pleasant experience with KB Homes. From the time I first set foot in the sales office, everyone was very welcoming and kind. You would think that is only because they want your business and while that is a big part of it, I did sense that it went beyond that. Every single person from sales to the lender to the builder on site took care of me. I really did feel like part of the local KB family. I have had new homes before and it was never as warm and welcoming as this was. It was a treat to go into the design studio and choose my decor (although I do wish there were more choices). And when I changed my mind it was not a big deal, they happily changed it. Meeting the team who actually built the home was great too. The construction foreman and workers never minded my questions and openly showed me their work. I never felt that they were being sneaky or just slapping up another house. Was there things that could have been done better- of course but they are minor cosmetic things. The loan process was the most stressful but even then, the team handled it with professionalism, finding a loan term that fit my budget. I will say the only blemish on this review is KB corporate. They are in the business of selling houses no matter what it takes and it shows. They rushed deadlines and got pushy with even their workers whom they viewed as dispensable and for that I would knock down a few stars for. Overall the home buying process was pretty easy. I had been in the home now about 40 days. I do feel KB needs to hire better contractors who actually value their work rather than just slapping together a house. I have already had warranty out to address issues and they had to send 5 companies to fix the everything. Warranty has been very good and are quick to get things fixed which is nice. Overall I’m satisfied with the house.

Well, overall this was a good buying experience for me. I should mention that this was not my first home buying experience but it was a first new build purchase & first in the state of Florida; I am from the Northeast. Doing things from that far away was a challenge. I was glad that I was well versed! My star rating would have been a 4 & 1/2 but there is no half-star so I keep it at 4*

Contractor was good and made closing easier

Mortgage team is great and great incentives for veterans. We got everything we requested. Great and easy process.

Zack and Stacy did a great job helping us all along the way.

The purchasing experience is good and smooth. After purchasing, new residents initial settle in support could be better. A new home owner's book could be developed with all relevant information in one manual book. (e.g., we still don't have place to find set up direction on our heating and air conditioning system when it messed-up by power outage...)

Construction process was well explained and manager kept us updated on progress. Pre and post sale resources are good, issues identified are being rectified on time.

I appreciate that everything was explained to me plainly and all contacts were responded to timely.

Overall I've been happy with buying the house and the service!

I like my home.

My overall experience was OK The builder personnel were pleasant. Improvement can be demonstrated with "Attention to Detail!" You do not expect to do upkeep work on your new home. Loose door knobs (I have tightened them already) Paint spots on the floor Stains on the shower floor Paint over spray on some bathroom fixtures Baseboard Trim could be touched up. The floors were not thoroughly clean (Chalky, dusty) Floor Trim on the thresholds poorly painted Island Light Fixtures needed cleaning Outdoor covered porch ceiling needs painting Covered Porch ceiling light has a gap (potential bug entry) Lawn poorly presented, needs fertilizer and Nitrogen Some sod is dead due to rocks in the soil Decorative wood piece on Island is lose (Needs to be fixed) Calking or Paint on the out sliding glass doors needs to be removed and painted. Front Porch Ceiling needs painting AC has an unusually loud hum to it. Water Bill expense for lawn watering ... More
