We had a great experience as we found this community, everyone was attentive to our needs and wants. They we’re so helpful in answering all of our questions and go about it accordingly. The sales rep was exceptionally nice, he guided us through every step of the way and made us feel comfortable. If there is anything you need they’re definitely on top of the list. Highly recommend

Overall, we love the property. However, due to delayed timelines, it seems that construction process was rushed. The interior of the property did not go through a deep inspection before releasing it to us. We have several issues that should have been caught through internal inspection prior to releasing the home. The construction team particularly Danny has been extremely helpful. In addition, third-party company working with KB to resolve issue particularly Richard is very helpful. Sales experience needs to improve. They should over communicate and keep in close contact with the customers throughout the home buying journey. This way customers have an overall improved experience of buying future homes. ... More

my only advise would be prepare for the worst and be happy when its not so bad. i would consistently follow up with everything because there will be too many mistakes to count. the end product will not be that great and you will have to redo a lot of the work. DONT GET OPTIONS, get the bare bones basic because you will be disappointed, take that money you saved on options and have it done after the builders is finished

The house was built very quickly and all issues that we had with it was fixed promptly after we moved in. I would recommend KB homes to whoever is trying to build a new home. Their neighborhoods always have the best exterior designs. Don’t believe me? Go to the closest one near you and take a look. You may end up wanting to look inside as well.

Great customer service and quick response time

The people behind the scenes have been nothing but helpful and professional, there response time is exceptional,always in Communication for a speedy response.

Although my experience started out a little rocky with the amount of delays such as, the lumber not being ordered in the time frame during building, or the amount of time (2 months) it took to receive a part needed for the HVAC, or the lack of knowledge of the process stages from my sales agent. Towards the end I escalated my concerns and issues to upper management and everything was resolved timely and to my satisfaction. I would recommend KB to other buyers but the buyer would definitely have to remain on top of things other wise it will fall between the cracks.

Overall, I'm happy with the home itself and have no regrets. It's not the *highest quality* home out there, but, for what it cost, I can't complain too much. That's not to say that the quality is abysmal -- it's a very decent home that looks and feels good and is about worth what I paid. However, the closing process was awful. To be clear, the KB Team responsible for the building and completion of the home was great: I was given timely and accurate updates and the home itself was completed in time to meet a potential close date that would have worked well with my schedule. Unfortunately, it seems that the internal communication within the KB team is nonexistent: The part of the KB Team that was responsible for making sure that everything was in place for the clear-to-close was unaware of the status of the build and the appraisal never happened. I ended up getting a text the day before we were originally supposed to close saying that we cannot close the next day. The next two weeks involved back-and-forth texting and emailing, every day, trying to determine which day we should plan to close, only to be told "we don't know." It was a logistical nightmare. Finally, on the second to last possible day that I was available before being out of town for a week, I receive an email letting me know that the appraisal arrived and that we're clear to close. The rest of that day was a scramble to get out of work early and make it to the title company. I'm in my home now and the house is wonderful and the neighborhood is great, but the KB Team needs to get it together. ... More

Nice home with great construction crew

Sales was great but when it came down to the building, that was a different story. The move in date got pushed around a lot. The communication was poor. There are still issues in the house that no one wants to address. I’m constantly emailing or calling. The customer service sucks!

Fantastic company to build a home with

The thing that was most impressive to me and my wife is the courtesy, professionalism, and attention to detail. When you hear people say welcome to the KB family it hey really make you feel that way.

The sales and design team were great, we designed a home we were looking forward to. We got word of our closing date and would have the new home orientation the day before and the home was not finished with many issues. We were asked to come back the next day before our closing and we were promised the house would be finished with a final clean completed. The next day we arrived to much the same home. The house was missing pantry shelves, the countertop had screw holes in it and wasn’t secure to the cabinets, the flooring transitions were not secured, outlets we asked to be moved more than a month prior we’re still not moved, garage door opener was not installed, the house had not been fully cleaned and a full host of other issues. We were promised that while we were at the closing the shelves would be installed, same with the garage door opener, the electrician would move the outlet and the countertop would be fixed as well as a final clean. We were lied too, none of these things happened. To get these issues fixed we had to go through the warranty service. Yes, to get items that should have been installed we had to go to the warranty service. It took over a month after closing to get our shelves in the pantry. It is now almost 2 months after we closed and the list of issues is long and have yet to be addressed by KB Homes. I would not purchase a KB Home again. ... More
