We've had a few problems. 1: heater was never hooked up properly. 2. Whole house fan stopped working after trying to turn it on once. 3. Communication to customer was lacking or non-existent. 4. Brand new countertops were faulty and had to all be replaced. Communication to Construction crew on behalf of Customer was lacking or non-existent. All our problems were eventually fixed, but they really were fixed thanks to construction crew because KB themselves did not communicate to construction crew or customer very well. We had to replace the brand new countertops after weeks of asking for repair or fix. Then when the "fix" was approved, we were only contacted by countertop company, NOT KB homes. Attempt to replace the countertops was never conevyed to Construction crew on site (who needed to be a part of any touchups afterwards and before repairs, unhook sinks and remove stove) Construction crew once again saved the day. They were very good at communicating and helping get all things in order while KB did not communicate with them or us. KB has left a bad taste in my mouth as a new build home buyer. Had a great experience with our KB home build. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Amanda was amazing start to finish. Jesse was super helpful and gave great tips and advice.

We searched a few other companies while house hunting and none were as willing to work with you and had ready availability like KB was. This was actually our second KB home experience. We really enjoyed the variety of options available in building our homes. Gives a personal touch, not all houses are exactly the same. Throughout the process we received updates and pictures of our house, which was exciting. Since we have moved in, all our questions have been addressed with quick responses. Would highly recommend KB Homes.

Great experience from start to finish..From start to finish the entire process was smooth and full of communication. I was very involved in the process, and when I had a question or issue, it was answered in a timely manner. Very happy with my experience and happy with my home.

The Las Vegas team that I worked with was very professional and timely with their responses. I would recommend the Las Vegas team in all aspects of the KB home buying experience. The sales, construction, and design studio teams were all top tier.

You need to do your homework before select all options.

Communication was outstanding! Any/All issues were taken care of immediately. The team I worked with definitely went above and beyond.

I first want to say the individual employees are great. They have been helpful and I ultimately hold KB Home as a company. The quality of my home, including the extra upgrades was less than satisfactory. As someone who watched DIY shows, and has minimal experience, I could tell a lot of the finishing touches on the house we're done by people who had little to no experience. I hope KB Home does better for their customers in the future.

It was a good experience.

Everyone was responsive even during the pandemic. Made provisions for me in every aspect. Each person who called has a friendly (tone) voice and I could tell they were always smiling on the end of the phone.

KB Homes has great selection of features for the home. However, everything costs money: you want lights in a room? It is going to cost you. You want lights in the kitchen and living room? It is going to cost you. It does NOT come with lights, only outlets for "lamps". Be aware of the great variety of options available, as they can be costly and increase the home purchase price significantly higher. Overall, so far, great quality home (2 months in). Also, plan for significant delays. If they expect the home to be "finished" by a certain month, plan at least 1-2 months more of delays. That way, you'll have somewhere to stay. ... More

They really worked hard to keep you updated and informed. The customer service was fantastic in all aspects.

Love the supers on the build side. Sales a little difficult. Design center is amazing, but you have to really realize when they say no changes, they mean it. Mortgage a bit frustrating because you gather everything to be pre-approved, then have to do it all over again within 30 days of closing. Who has time for that??? Nice people, though. I recommend checking progress on new builds at least once a week to avoid surprises.

Unfortunately our home was built during COVID so lots of additional delays. We love our home though!

Field supervisor Kelly has made promises and did not and still have not replied to any of my concerning problems

The Sales Team and Construction crews were easy to work with and easy to communicate with every step of the way.

Everything is OK (overall)! I really like the location but I had many experiences with construction side where I did not like their service.
