Although, I felt that it took forever for the home to get completed, when I moved in, I felt that it was right on time. I am still experiencing the home buying experiencing with the behind the scene work. They are still making things happen for me with various vendors and the overall quality of their customer service. Pretty much my home buying experience didn't end when I got my keys. I really appreciate everyone from Sales to the Loan Officers to the Builders to the Customer Service Representatives right on down to the Superintendent. My house is beautiful and I do feel like it’s a good value. I had a couple of issues like my thermostat not being properly mounted and my bedroom doors not being able to close because of how they were installed. I wish someone paid more attention to that but I was able to call someone to fix it. They responded in a timely manner.

Watching (and learning) through the process was a fantastic experience. I noticed that inspectors would catch little flaws that I would never have seen. The house turned out wonderful and I did have an issue with corporate policy that only targets people using Veteran's Benefits. These policies ended up delaying closing by 6 weeks and costing me thousands of dollars only because management would not discuss issues with the customer (only the salesperson). Also, after moving in, I noticed a few patches in the stucco when the walls were wet. These patches would dry to the same light ...

So as far as quality of materials and workmanship the only reason I am giving it a 4 stars instead of five is for three reasons. I really wish you had an upgrade option for sheathing to be real osb (t-ply was used). I am a builder I know it would be very easy to cut a hole in hardie and get into an unoccupied house. The second would be the paint. Painters are one of the hardest trades to get right imo. Runs, holidays, and drips happen I get it double checking these is extremely important and correcting them as well. The third would be drywall. I am just getting use to the knockdown drywall ...

I feel that good quality materials were used ...I.e. appliances, plumbing and faucets, hvc I do feel that the lock on the screen door to patio is inferior and low quality. Would like to see it replaced as it does not lock.
