Overall I think its been a good experience so far, I appreciate the quick response time for questions or concerns. Always very professional.

While our house was almost 7 months behind schedule, we still love the home. In our area, it was a great deal, especially for a new build. There are some quality issues with the home (paint not even, wrong fixtures installed, internal walls / corners that aren't completely straight), but KB has been quick to help us fix them. We like it a lot and were pleasantly surprised at the whole design process.

This was an overall great experience. Dahlia was absolutely fantastic! The entire staff that I worked with, Mike the builder and Camille were so responsive and helpful. I always felt comfortable speaking with them and always trusted their views. Great experience.

we would recommend when we moved in we feel real home . the builders always update and check on you. whatever you need to be reach out they always here for you.

While I recognize that we did not purchase a custom-built house, however, for the price we paid ( half million or so)we expected more…this was our second KB home. We had great experience on our first thus we decided to get another KB home. I said,, mixed as there were quite a couple of people that stood out. Steve was great during our meetings with him from the footing/ foundation to the final walk through. Respected our customs and allowed us to do what we wanted us to do. The only issue, up to this day we couldn’t figure Out how to program our coach lights. A bit complicated even with the manual re the latitude and longitude thing. The loan processors Dan Murphy and Patricia were on top of things. Justin Grasmick was very responsive and quick to solve our issues. We have a few issues here and there… but what surprised us , why won’t people do things right the first time ( carpets were not fully stretched and tucked just to name a few) I understand we are on a time crunch esp during these covid times but that doesn’t mean we cut corners. I wish I could give a “ 10” as coached by some of the agents, but surveys are completed with transparency so that things will be fixed! I do not thrive on giving 5 or 10 stars knowing at the back of my Mind it was not. We still have a few things that needed to fixed here and there…. And I hope the same responsiveness will continue regardless of this review. There is always room for improvement. I just wanted to mention, in the past the builder would leave a small pint of paint to retouch just in case the paint was chipped during moving in, caulk to retouch or so, we have not seen that this time… thus for every little thing we call. To0ok 10 months! constantly changing dates of when it would be finished. We wish they would pay more attention to details.

Working with Chase was a great experience. He made sure any issues were taken care of promptly and was on top of things

I’m still waiting for my windows to be fixed. But so far so great

They did a good job considering the current challenges of the market. It had some bumps in the way but overall I am happy and feel like I got a great house.

Happy with my home. I wish I spoke up for myself during our final walk thru because there were several things that I did not approve of about my new home, but did not want to wait any longer to move in because it was delayed a few months due to covid. Overall I am happy and they are willing to work with me and my needs for the home

Everything went well with the purchase of the home. Javier helped out a lot and was always attentive with any issues that occurred.

Despite the supply chain issues, the house is very nice and worth waiting for.

Everyone was very accomodating and professional

Sales and construction staff were friendly courteous and very knowledgeable. We were especially pleased with the final walk-through and resolution of any minor issues.

Excellent Experience till closing . post closing needs multiple follow ups for any pending items.

There is a lack of supervision after every contractor is done with their job. KBH trusts that every contractor would self-supervise. KBH needs to apply healthy skepticism to the contractors since it is KBH who would ultimately be liable if corners were cut during the construction of the home.

Timely, organized, good communication

Rough start but things got better.

In the beginning there were some non-communication issues with the financial part and construction (toward the end) but that was remedied. Everyone was pleasant during the process just a few areas that need improvement. There were some minor cosmetic issues with the house as far as workmanship (a little disappointing) My warranty rep Kyle has been great getting everything I need fixed. He stays in contact with me weekly to make sure all my concerns with the house are getting done. Thus making me a happy customer.

The process took several months longer than discussed when signing the contract. KB refused to commit to a completion date until the day of closing. I do not like "estimated" and "we're hoping for" to control my life. We heard a lot of "possibly", "should happen", and "we don't know" as answers to our questions.

We really liked Bud. He was our initial contact with KB and unlike other builders we went to he was very down to earth and genuinely friendly. The Design studio needs to learn some things from him. Our experience with them was one that felt rushed and inconvenient to them after we were pushed a month because it snowed and they did not open for just that particular morning of our initial appointment. You should not get to treat someone as they have inconvenience you when you guys closed. Regardless of the reason. As for the actual construction process we felt it went as good as it could go with all the issues of COVID and shortages. However we did feel like the subcontractors got careless and lazy to finish out the house. I understand they were trying to get us finished up to meet our closing (which got pushed anyway) and maybe it is because of the year long warranty. The finish out just felt rushed and very much like the feeling "just get it done and if we have to come back during the warranty period we will". We get that and have been using it. But it felt like a lack of caring. Now that being said Kevin and Derek have rocked getting anything we need done. They both have been awesome and you should do what you can to keep them happy. I must say the initial process of working with Derek and Andrea was GREAT. They walk me through and explain everything that I needed to do to make sure I wasaproved.
