The entire home buying process was extremely easy & transparent. The home was built beautifully in a timely manner and the warranties are great. My only hiccup was the 30 day walkthrough & paint touch ups/small repairs hasn’t been honored.

It's a awesome experience building your own home and watching it as they go.

I think KB would do much better on the craftsmanship and the material without the pandemic.

There were so many issues we found after we moved in. Major plumbing issue they have not fixed almost two months after we moved in. Two downstairs toilets overflowed first week we moved in, plumber found the underground pipe connection issue. I purchased brand news homes many times in the past, I never experienced so many issues in the past. We had total 8 families from our phase to move in around the same time, every single family experienced the same. KB hired the cheapest contractors or staff to build their homes. there were so many incomplete jobs we found after we moved in. I don’t know how did they perform their basic QC, damaged cabinets, missing closet’s cover, bath towel handing rack, non-operational Owen, missing French door and storage baseboards, window’s frames, gap on kitchen panel doors, gap on upgraded master bathroom’s counter top, uneven and unfinished wall paint, un-functioned garage door light, unfinished garage door floor…too many to list. We emailed the repair list to the builder, they couldn’t complete fixing the issues two months after we moved in. Very disappointed to spend so much money to purchase the home from KB in Irvine. You can come to my neighborhood and knock any family’s door, they will share the same experience and gave you a long repair list. ... More

Great customer experience, working with the KB team was fantastic. Even in the midst of the pandemic they made me feel at ease.

Amanda made the whole process as smooth and stress free as possible. Process was long but fast at the same time (I know sounds crazy) but once the actual construction got going the house itself was built very fast! Very great quality of work. No major issues that were found. Very happy with the home and the process.

We had an outstanding experience, before, during and after the purchase process. Our Sales agent Yolanda, kept us updated weekly, always had time to promptly reply to our multiple inquiries; Our lender agent Marcus, worked with us to get us the best loan deal possible; Our Construction Super Intendents: Kevin and Rob, took care of all our requests after closing. Our house feels not only new, comfortable, beautiful and safe, but it makes it even better to know we have a name as KB backing it up from foundation to the last roof tile

Price was affordable. Also impressed with the quality.

Good sales process & hard working engineers, but unfortunately the finish quality did suffer! :( Just thankful they are fixing most of it...but certain issues should NOT have existed in the first place!

From start to finish the process has been amazing. We had more information than we needed every step of the way. If we had a question, there was always someone there to answer. The home is everything we hoped it would be; on time and under budget.

Overall we are very happy with our home.

Overall, we were/are satisfied with KB Home and love our new house. Most issues were as a result of the COVID pandemic and the supply/demand of the materials. Other than that, our experience was great.
