I like the overall buying experience with KB Home and the upgrades that included when I bought the Spec home. The team I worked with are professional and friendly

We had a great experience working with KB Homes on the purchase of our first house. James in sales was very accommodating to help find the right home for us. He was knowledgeable of the whole process so there were no surprises. Elizabeth in KB home loans was great to work with. She spent time answering my questions and making sure I understood expectations.

I had a great experience. The superintendent Daniel did a great job with staying in contact and working on my concern that I had. Overall everyone with the KB team did a great job.

Overall, a very seamless home buying experience with KB. The mortgage process was by far the smoothest I have ever experienced. Weekly updates related to home build were nice personal touches. KB "upgrades" I personally wouldn't consider upgrades and recommend buyers to go with only the basics as it's cheaper to replace door handles, faucets, etc. than to mortgage it for 30 years. The cabinet company used by KB is average at best. Our cabinets slope 1/2 inch from left to right, which you cannot see or notice, but discovered when adding backsplash. Cabinets have splits or open seams. KB is super at responding to claims. I've made 6 or 7 minor claims in the first 30 days and KB has accepted all claims. KB offers free paint touch ups 30 days after move-in. Overall, good to above average home. No serious complaints. Will sell in about 36 months and move to TN. ... More

Had a great experience from entering into contract to execution and closing.

I am totally impressed with the team KB homes who help me choose and complete all necessary action to get through to our buying experience. Not the first time we purchased a new construction house but the customer servuce are next to none. Unfortunately there are some issues in the house since day one when we moved in. From the new installed appliances, breakers, lights, outlets to name a few. Not what I expect for a brand new house. Buying is already a stressful process and issues at the start really not what I expected. Luckily, there are customer service staff ready to support our needs. ... More

All the personnel I came in contact with, was experience in their work and very knowledgeable. The home builders responded to my calls in a timely manner.

This is my second house with Kb and always a good experience over all

Overall, I am happy with my new home. I am disappointed with the inconsistent communication with the warranty department. I was supposed to meet my rep after a month It's been almost 2 months and still not scheduled. The workmanship is a bit disappointing. I have two walls that are bowed. couple drywall returns around the windows were crooked and had to be fixed. I have a broken kitchen drawer and it feels like attention to detail was ignored. My Superintendent has been great! He's the reason I scored KB as high as I did. He fixed quite a bit that warranty should have handled. Our sales Rep Ann was absolutely amazing! She is always there to answer questions and always provided weekly updates. Jon and Leah the PMs were awesome they provided weekly updates and helpful tips and were very knowledgeable. This KB team at the Hills is an All Star team!

The KB home studio in San Antonio was the most exciting process of building my home, I got to customize my home which sets KB home home builders apart from other builders building in their price range

The Sales Representative was excellent. The Loan representative was excellent. Most of personal that I met was very good. They keep their word on making sure the work they promise got done.

From the onset of the home buying journey, the KB Home staff were very encouraging and supportive. They helped link me with a mortgage lender that was suited to my peculiar needs. Builders supervisor Daniel was outstanding I revised a weekly update on him and he quickly responded to my questions and work request, Ms Sara Sosa she is very helpful and very professional in every aspect.

I’ve paid for two months of solar panels that were supposed to be activated within 8-12 weeks after closing. It's been 8 weeks and now SoCal Edison is saying 12-16 more weeks. My current electric bill is going be over $400! I am strictly restricting my family from using electricity but yet still have a $400 bill. I can't sustain this for three to four more months!
