Overall I am happy with my new home. However, the process took much longer than I had anticipated. This was probably due to a shortage of workers and difficulty obtaining materials. The 30 day warranty check did not happen. I am anticipating the 60 day check. There are just a few items that need to be fixed in my home.

Mark was very responsive with all questions and concerns we had, same with Kacey. Issues with house falling behind original schedule continued throughout the build that was very frustrating especially when balancing rate locks, apartment leases, and movers

Ingrid and Vanessa were great, Also the design studio was a great experience, Everyone came through just great when we were scrambling at the last moment to complete the signing

Some issues was not resolved before we move to the house specially the cleaning of the house. The person In charge did not do his best to resolve the problem.

Handoff delays , takes about 45 days to fix any issues reported during close.

I had a wonderful experience with KB sale staff and loan processing. I just wished KB has better workmanship and materials. However, KB representative is willing to work out the issues and make sure it would be taken care of. Overall, I am happy with my new home. There are many more years to come. So I will have to wait and see.

Generally speaking, the quality is rather good although there is still some small defects. The salesperson and other staffs are friendly and helpful.

Jacquie in the sales office was great. She took the bull by the horns on everything from pricing to touch up after the sale to make sure we were taken care of.

The seller Debbie was Legit, very nice to do business with, Erick and Johnny were very good at what they do always tried to make themselves available within a reasonable time frame.

Home buying experience with KB was overall good. Sales person, was awesome and cared to help. Loan team and customer experience didn’t show that they care, in fact it felt the opposite. Customer care team especially was trying come up with unrelated reason why a defected area was normal and it didn’t need fixing. This is big investment and that team needs to work with the customer to ensure everything is to their satisfaction. Attention to detail is very important but unfortunately I didn’t see that in my house

Saul is an outstanding salesperson. Noland was responsive to my concerns. Sean was excellent with my laon. I was not able to make one of my most important structural options changes due to timing, but some design center changes were facilitated. Home was not finished when my walkthrough was scheduled, so I could not do final inspection personally. Overall, staff made the experience easy for me.

Ensure all corrections are done prior to closing.

HOME BUYING IS STRESSFUL. TAKE YOUR TIME.

Pressed board kitchen cabinets and vanities, not even wood. Front door fell off one of the kitchen drawers after only 6 wks in the house. No drawers in either vanity cabinets. Refrig door handle falling off. Cheap bathroom fixtures. Kitchen cabinets too far up from the counter top. Can only reach first 2 shelves, others are useless. Just a lot of short cuts.

Process is slow on loan approval due to poor communication between builder , loan coordinator and appraiser. Appraiser was not communicating well

In a couple of words - pretty good overall, recommend.

Yes for the value today I think they could put a little more into the building process of the upgrades probably could have offered more and with this only being too much into the moving process it really takes the first year to see how the house holds up so what I would like to see is this survey to come back after a year and then I could really give it a good evaluation

Nice experience but difficult to get help with warranties

Hard to tell how this is going to hold up but the canned lights started falling out of the ceiling the second week I was here. The water in this area is absolutely horrible- I don’t see how anyone could live without a whole house filter and softener- yet the house is not plumbed for installing a system- except for the side of the house by the street- in the sun and in plain sight. I have several issues that I asked for help with and they say they will come check but nobody ever shows up. They promised that if I would give them a 10 on the survey- they would come back and paint the garage that was left unpainted- something that would have taken them 15 minutes to paint when it was empty and they were painting everything else anyway- yet they chose not to do it in order to get a perfect score. Well I answered the survey before moving in- gave a perfect score because I wanted the garage painted. I’m buying paint today and painting the garage myself- it has been a month since the survey. I’m not holding my breath that anyone will show up and do what they said. I can fix stuff and I’ll hire outside people to come fix things. I just don’t know why they make those promises. Hoping the house will hold up- luckily not much has fallen apart in the first month so maybe the construction is good- can’t really judge that completely after a month. Very easy process from start to finish.

KB home price is ok, house building not that good, because my house a lot cracked , but Charlie take care good, very good service, he is very friendly and wonderful!

Everything had been great other than the promise to have our front yard and wing fence put in. We have been told over and over that it will be done and still have nothing. It has been the only thing we have had trouble getting answers about.

It was a long process from beginning to end, but nothing longer than what they quoted us in the beginning. Everyone in the process made themselves available for any questions we had and even after we moved in. My loan officer, Brian was great and took the time to explain everything to me. Lori was also super fast with responses and answers to questions.

The quality and workmanship building my home was rushed. There were so many cosmetic issues that needed to be cured after move in. The garage door button on the wall was not working due to electrical wiring issues. The first floor bath shower wall had deep scratches, and the ceramic sink had Grey spots embedded in the sink which was a defect. First floor front entrance door, the fire door to garage, and the first floor bath door needed adjustments,. The kitchen cabinet doors had gaps needed adjustments, and they forgot to install the bottom Molding to the cabinets. Missing closet Door handle Plates, the strike plate on the laundry door casing issue, and the White cap on the 2nd floor bedroom Closer door stopper for the bedroom closet door above the garage. First floor window latch was loose, large drywall cracks in my kitchen ceiling, and master bedroom ceiling from the air vent. Bedroom and bathroom door finish Was painted over due to scratches, and golf size dips in the wall. The builder warranty rep was quick to schedule dates and increments for vendors to come out to the house to cure the issues. Overall it’s a good home, and they were very responsive to my issues. ...
