Watching (and learning) through the process was a fantastic experience. I noticed that inspectors would catch little flaws that I would never have seen. The house turned out wonderful and I did have an issue with corporate policy that only targets people using Veteran's Benefits. These policies ended up delaying closing by 6 weeks and costing me thousands of dollars only because management would not discuss issues with the customer (only the salesperson). Also, after moving in, I noticed a few patches in the stucco when the walls were wet. These patches would dry to the same light ...

Having issues after owning the home. The construction workers are very disrespectful and do not care that I live next door to the house they are building. They fixed the first issue when the construction workers did not secure wood planks on the roof next to us and the winds blew it off and made a big hole in the side of my house. They also leave trash all over unsecured and the high winds blow it onto my property. I have cleaned it multiple times. Though the several-month construction process was frustrating in itself, the overall product came out a lot better than we had expected. After our home was finished, the construction team was very responsive to our requests to fix any issues we came across and ensured it was done correctly. The responsiveness to these issues after the construction process was quite refreshing given our experience during the construction process.
