For the size of this community, we wished there was more help after the sales. It’s hard for one person to manage the responsibilities and needs of so many new home buyers in a timely manner.

Really need to make homeowner more involved in process

Mr. Chavez is phenomenal and once he temporarily took over the Harbor Dunes community, everything started to positively progress in the right direction. However, I’m still missing a bunch of items and no details on when those items will come in other than it’s on back order. Still waiting on several items to be fixed as well. Lastly, the subcontractors that KB Home hired to build, install, paint, etc… were very sub-par. And for the price I paid, I figured the builder would throw in a complimentary refrigerator, but I guess I should be happy I got something (blanket). This is not my 1st home buying experience and so comparing to my previous one, KB Home is a huge let down. The experience overall was good, there were some issues with the home after it was built. One of the big ones was the home being properly sealed.

While we are overall happy with our home we are tired of hearing ‘that’s an issue with trades’, sorry the manufacturer is not helping you with that. 3 months into our home and the wrong size blinds, the broken cabinet and the dishwasher that will not dry remain a problem that the builder can’t/won’t fix. The builder hired the blinds company, the cabinet company and selected the manufacture of the dishwasher. Time for the builder to take responsibility for getting things fixed.

Take your time to check everything carefully before signing off. My brand new stainless steel sink has been scratch, also my counter top. The paint on my garage still showing streaks of white paint, My front doorknob has a different color paint than my stain door. At the bottom of my front door I can see daylight . I notice a hole on the ceiling in my closet. Painting looks like my 5 yr old nephew did it. The fence is poorly put together. Workmanship gets a F - …….

KB Contractors doing poor workmanship. AS Stated Before K-Mark Quality Parts stated as Upgrade quality. KB Only Cares about the Rating not resolving the issues THREE STARS bordering on 2

Sales team very helpful, unfortunately build quality is not meeting expectations.

1. Well over-priced. KBhome took advantage of hot real-estate market. Unreasonable lot premium. 2. Well over-priced optional items such as flooring. Not much choices such as window treatment or ceiling fans. 2. I still have 3 small issues and 1 major issue (replacing the scratched kitchen cabinet door). Customer Service associate is not responding to my text, emails, and phone calls for the simple status update. No communication what so ever after an initial text communication. It has been 2 months.

Sales was great but when it came down to the building, that was a different story. The move in date got pushed around a lot. The communication was poor. There are still issues in the house that no one wants to address. I’m constantly emailing or calling. The customer service sucks!

I work in construction and my jobs are never as messy as the job site was at my new house. Food spilled on the subfloor trash everywhere. I still find trash in my yard from the construction process. Sump pump was in the wrong location, electrical was not correct run, miss matched paint on closet doors, lots of drywall issues, tiles chipped and not grouted, door trim impropriety installed, broken appliances and the house was never properly cleaned before they turned it over. Very disappointed in the construction and delivery of final product, about 45 days after closing and still have outstanding issues. ... More

Everything is OK (overall)! I really like the location but I had many experiences with construction side where I did not like their service.

Excellent attention from the loan officer and the VP throughout the process solving doubts and looking for the as if, unfortunately, a great area of ​​opportunity with the seller, construction and customer service, will improve.

Was not happy with the craftsmanship put out by contractors. Sub par at best

The builder was great. The sub contractors work was rushed and not well done. Had to have workers come back multiple times to fix things that should have never been an issue. We are still waiting on things to be fixed after almost two months. We were told items would be fixed before we moved it and they were not. Now that contractors are busier it’s taking 2-3 weeks to get anyone to come back and do repairs. Even the guys sent for repairs aren’t completing the job. Materials like the upgraded paint and the standard countertops are poor quality

The whole process was stressful due to the fact that my wife and I had a loan officer who didn’t tell us a thing, he basically did everything on his own without confirming anything with us. Then when we switched to Daliah as our loan officer everything turned around she informed us of everything there is to know. As far as the build of our home there’s issues that should have been caught during the building process. Such as electric sockets not working, cracks between tile, issues with that irrigation system. There was a set back in getting the house built, there’s no sprinkler system in the back yard, I feel that there wasn’t much effort in getting our house built. The home is beautiful but it’s been challenging fixing the issues from building them too fast.

Honestly right now it isn’t going well.. I asked for a brand new house which I got thanks to you guys and we love it!! But the issue right now is the house got done about a month ago and were having bugs issues and there’s nothing really going on to fix the issue. My wife has been waiting for a phone call back since Monday and nothing has happened. A little disappointed.

Need a lot of rework done! Roof leaks floor squeaks on 2 rooms! Stairs sound like there falling apart. Window Not square! Paint falling off out side! Poor craftsmanship done with kB homes! Sad but true!

Slow service, house was not fully ready at moving. Still no responses.

Sales people are great, friendly, knowledgeable. Can't comment on the trustworthiness, I've only been in-home about 40 days, that's to-be-determined. Also to-be-determined is my opinion on the quality/workmanship, as I'm having an appliance issue already, as well as an issue with a window.

Asked the same questions, promised, but never got answers.

How unready this house was to move in to. They are still coming out to fix stuff. Some of the people coming have even said this should have been done before I moved in. On a good note KB has done an excellent job of repairing or changing things.
