Our closing was 2 months later than what we were expecting, quality and craftsmanship are below what we have experienced with the 2 homes we have built prior to this. I do not plan on building another home with KB Home and I would not recommend them to anyone that cares about quality and craftsmanship.

I truly enjoyed my home buying experience with KB Home! It was evident from everyone I worked with from sales, financing, design studio, build superintendent & follow through customer service that KB really cares about the customer experience!

Great experience from start to finish

The entire process was quite stressful as communication between the KB Home corporate office and the title company (First American Title) was terrible. They couldn’t coordinate the closing date and it kept changing. KB kept wanting to close on my new house without having me do a final walkthrough. Quite a poor experience.

KB suppplied all aspects of our Texas homebuying experience. Builder, financer, insurer & confidant all covered by KB.

As a new home buyer we really appreciate KB Home for all help during process of closing. We love our home, good quality and price

Overall I had a pleasant experience with KB Homes. From the time I first set foot in the sales office, everyone was very welcoming and kind. You would think that is only because they want your business and while that is a big part of it, I did sense that it went beyond that. Every single person from sales to the lender to the builder on site took care of me. I really did feel like part of the local KB family. I have had new homes before and it was never as warm and welcoming as this was. It was a treat to go into the design studio and choose my decor (although I do wish there were more choices). And when I changed my mind it was not a big deal, they happily changed it. Meeting the team who actually built the home was great too. The construction foreman and workers never minded my questions and openly showed me their work. I never felt that they were being sneaky or just slapping up another house. Was there things that could have been done better- of course but they are minor cosmetic things. The loan process was the most stressful but even then, the team handled it with professionalism, finding a loan term that fit my budget. I will say the only blemish on this review is KB corporate. They are in the business of selling houses no matter what it takes and it shows. They rushed deadlines and got pushy with even their workers whom they viewed as dispensable and for that I would knock down a few stars for. Everything seemed great when I first moved in but after a few days I noticed a lot of discrepancies in my home. I had a leak in my sink since the builder failed to check for any leaks, a conduit was missing from my bedroom and overall I was not happy with how long it takes to the warranty person to come and check everything out. I was promised a top of the line home and that was not given to me.

Fantastic team to work with very attentive and great communication

Myrna our sales rep was very kind, very helpful and kept us up to date in the build process. Raul was very knowledgeable regarding our mortgage loan and guided us through out the approval process. Laramie the construction manager was great, kept us informed of all the build. Paige was awesome very detail oriented when it came to our home interior design and was very knowledgeable. Christina has been keeping us informed about any details now that we have moved in and has been in constant contact with us regarding any issues the home may have. Thank you all!!! From start to finish my experience was excellent.

Smooth and easy process with professional staff

Please up the quality of build materials and people are not responsible at all. Worst decision of my life to buy a house with KB homes.

There is little communication between departments. Project schedules don’t appear to exist and failing to meet dates 7 times over doesn’t matter. Punch items take months to get to and not everything is resolved max

Ask questions, KBHome people will answer them

As this is our second star rating survey that I am receiving. The list of issues that haven't been fixed and new issues continue to pop up. My family and I are trying to enjoy our new home, it turns out there's something new popping up that needs to be fixed and other issues have to wait because we were told there will be a 1 year walk through for items to be looked at or fixed. Giving just two examples. Example One would be: drywall, texture and paint. Second example would be: the AC unit out side is dented and broken in which something had fallen on it when the roof was being installed). A lot of our items were brought up before the NHO and on NHO appointment and still haven't been fixed or were told they can't be corrected. Items were passed on to the next person, ignored or moved path from our concerns. ... More

Had a great experience with the entire term. The on-site representative who walked me through the different offerings, the foreman giving me updates on the construction, the loan officer constantly communicating and treated changed and what I could expect to be my payments and close costs. Everyone was really involved and extremely responsive whenever I called it email with any questions.

The best experience I have had with this company and its professionalism. Great and respectful workers who represent amazing customer service and reliable and trustworthy.

We are very happy with our experience and the staff of KB homes. We’ve dreamed of owning a new construction home and we’re still in awe and gratitude. Jacob has been exceptionally helpful and goes above and beyond to provide excellence in the process.

Work is very sloppy. Do not hear back from employees
