I Had a decent experience. Best part was how consistent the property manager at Carter landing Keri was. She was the best with keeping me informed of progress of the home while it was being built . I didn’t care for how inconsistent the superintendent was. Seemed like he was overwhelmed with his work load. He could use an assistant covering so many communites

We’ve had several issues most of which have been dealt with but the quality of the workmanship was poor lack of communication throughout the process was poor,and I feel we should have gotten some sort of compensation from kb for the inconvenience caused to have the repairs done to our new home…

Homebuyers should keep in mind that they are not just buying but building the home of their dreams. As much as there is a Purchase Agreement, homebuyers should be more aware and should have a full understanding of what the terms truly are. There are provisions based on a timeline. However, if you are not 100% decided nor are you 100% satisfied with the product, you do not need to accept or agree with anything.

In general, the experience with you has been relatively regular. I think it could improve if you pay more attention to the reports that are made to the construction personnel, since they do not resolve the damage reported in a suitable time. The quality control of the people who make the house is bad since they have to do the same repair more than twice. There is no website where I can make my damage report and I only depend on the construction superintendent answering my call and scheduling my repair within two three weeks.

The house was rushed at the end, and a lot of things should have been done a lot better. Interior walls have very little strength and the flooring trim work is terrible. the lawn was done poorly and has to be redone.

The overall workmanship needs improvement. We were hesitant to close on our home, but was assured that these items would be corrected once workorders were submitted. Our lawn has drainage issues on one side of the house, which we were told would be fixed, but hasn’t been. Doug, our sales rep, has always been great with checking in on us and making sure we are okay. I would give him 10 stars off we could.

Construction team lead by the superintendent was awesome I would give them 10/10. Sales team I would not recommend. One of the workers were not knowledgeable on the models and seemed to just say what we wanted to hear. The Mortgage lending process could have been a lot more efficient. One of the staff would never answer her phone and seemed to be unorganized.

I was happy buying a new home but now after a couple months I am feeling somewhat discriminated, there was options which was never offered or told I could get, I did some research with a few neighbors and found out they were offered those options to them.

Within the first month we had issues with the down stairs bathroom toilet clogging. We also had water coming/flooding from the upstairs shower through the walls down stairs. I was assured there was no damage, however, I don't know how this can be known if no one went in to look. I worry about mold developing in the future. Also there was a busted sprinkler pipe in the yard which flooded the yard and inflated my water bill. There are a handful of other things

KB has affordable houses and they are all very updated with new technology. However, things in my home were rushed and not done correctly. From un level windows and light-switches (yes noticeably crooked) to a water main bursting in the first two weeks. I do give KB kudos for actively fixing all the issues but still the headache of contractors coming in to my new home to fix things during COVID has been annoying.
