I would buy from them again.

My lack of experience or knowledge did not matter as a first time home buyer. This KB Team was an absolute dream come true. Being very patient, kind, and trustworthy, and giving me assistance and feedback every step of the way. When something needed adjusting or fixing, the team Jose led was exceptionally quick to make sure things were as I requested or ordered. Alex in the design team was so easy and knowledgable to work alongside. The Construction Managers were equally exceptional to work with as well. When special cupboard door handles went out of stock, one manager was quick to special order the item for my home from E-bay himself. When I thought the plants were too high maintenance, Jose personally chose new plants for me, and planted them himself. Jeff made sure what wasn't done by my final walk through was taken care of by closing. Jose's presence throughout my first home buying experience was reassuring, and filled with integrity. Each person of my team from KB has exceptional integrity and made my dream of buying a home so easy and come true. I have a beautiful new home with many thanks to each one. I am so grateful for each one of you! I have been truly very blessed to know each one of you. (Oh, and I can't forget the construction crews either! They worked long days and nights, even on weekends to finish my home, as well as others.) ... More

The process was excellent with the representatives of KB; each was and is responsive and thorough in their work. Further, they were trustworthy--if something could not be done, they were honest about it. I have a beautiful home!

Everything seemed nice except the carpet and padding. It seemed thin and cheap.

Good house only issue is some items about 6 weeks over due

We gave you an excellent review when we first moved in, but since then we have had a bad experience with Sunpower. We had solar in our previous home and wanted to use our previous contractor, but KB required us to use Sunpower. We closed escrow on Dec. 2, 2020, and we still do not have solar activation as of Feb.17, 2021. Sunpower can give us no good reason for the delay. They said the City had the wrong address on the permit. (sounds like an excuse from Sunpower) When we called Sunpower, we talked to someone in the Philippines and then someone in Texas. We get monthly reports that list ZERO in the data because the solar is not activated. How can we get this resolved? Do we have to remove the panels and get our own contractor ? Instead of the 5 star review we gave you originally, we are submitting a 2 star review now. ... More

This is my second KB home and this process was great.

Working with the Dan, the Supervisor post closing, he was very communicative and thorough in checking in on my satisfaction with quality of the work and addressing any concerns.

Every one was very helpful and quick to respond! They made the process very easy and stress free!

The only down side was the underwriters were terrible ... aside from that every thing else was good.

KB offers very appealing layouts and upgrades. Without going crazy on upgrades, I selected just the right amount to really create a beautiful home that I love. There have been issues that I’ve run into with the building of the house. Everyone at KB seems very responsive with taking care of what needs to be done, but I do have to constantly check in for everything to get done. I wish that there was a more organized way for KB to take care of their home buyers. I’m a single mother to 2 kids. Raising and taking care of them is my priority. I shouldn’t have to worry about remembering every little issue that I bring up to KB to ensure it’s completion. I closed in December 2020, and here in February 2021, they are still working on getting items taken care of. ... More

The builder is knowledgeable and great.

Genesis was the true motivating force. Kind, helpful and always keeping us informed. Design studio session would have been overwhelming if not for the supportive and positive attitude of our representative. Financial

Love KB Everyone you work with is with you all the way to the end. Received updates every week. And even months after I get a check up email. I don't like the cheap paint or the fact that you need to pay extra for your garage walls to be painted .

Overall experience was good. We felt like the support staff did the best they could even though their responsibilities were stretched with the COVID restrictions and amount of homes being built.

I would like for other buyers to know, that KB Homes is a builder that you can trust, a builder who’s there with you every step of the through the process. A builder who is excited to exceed your expectations and has a value proposition that is beyond reproach! Thank you KB Homes for making my first time home buying experience exceptionally memorable!

Ugh!! I love my home but this was truly the worst experience I have ever had. The sales associate I worked with was not honesty, especially at the beginning about times it would take to move in. I was told 3 months and it ended up being more like 8. I would have much rather heard honest answers than dishonest answers just to get me to sign the contract. The construction manager was a breath of fresh air to work with - so that is a huge positive!! I just hated feeling manipulated buying my first home. Not to mention the sales assistant came to my home asking me to change my survey answers. Very unprofessional in my opinion. ... More

It's my first home purchase ever and without a representing agent, all of the KB Home staff whom have assisted us throughout the whole process are extremely helpful, patient and attentive to our inquiries and questions, sometime even during evening hours. We are ever so grateful to their effort for leading us into our very comfortable home. Many thanks to Mina and Luis!!
