KB home team, very helpful, wonderful service!

KB Homes have done a very good job with the homebuying process! I am very pleased with the purchase of the new home at Kay Manor Trails in Katy, TX. KB Homes was helpful and insightful in ensuring I was getting the best from them. Thanks KB Homes.

Home was built with affordability, smart home design. the only drawback as some members what the rating to be a PERFECT score but the house was near perfect but not ABSOLUTE perfection.

KB Homes has been diligent to respond to the items found by my home inspector. They did not argue about any of the findings. I agree with the appraiser that this home is of average build in quality. My loan officer and project manager have always been available to address my needs. They represent KB Homes very well.

We love many things about the home. It is very efficient with energy and water and is very easy to clean and maintain.

Buying a KB home was easy. The only problem we ran into was the Losn office.

My experience with KB homes was pleasant.

When buying a new home get ready to go from 0 to 100 mph in a moment. Be on hand to watch you house being built if possible. Write down or take good notes and ask questions a lot of questions. Our sales represent David did and awesome job keeping us informed and communicating with the builder of our concerns, working with our relator when it came to crunch time and always being available on his days off. Heather did a great job ensuring the project managers addressed our concerns. It is important that you pay great attention to the details of the construction process, take plenty of pictures before the house is closed in. Look at the crafts work and remember they or only working with the materials provided by the builder. Not every board is perfect this will be more evident when the project is near completion i.e. floors may not be solid when walked on, the walls may not be perfect and have bows, the windows when dry walled may not be true and will need to be floated in to appear square and if measuring for window blinds learn the correct way to measure them because the width at the top won't be the same as the middle or bottom, remember quality of materials. Watch for the quality of paint used the crafts are only as good as the product they are provided and the preparation of the materials. You are very lucking of have the yard fenced and grass installed. That being said, look at the quality of land if it is rocky with little dirt the build will use the minimal amount of soil 4" and install sod on top of that. The company that provides our turf recommended up 6" of soil with a fertilizer worked in before the turf was to be installed because of our soil condition. You will need to apply fertilizer within a month of moving in see the turf supplier's recommendation. Prior to closing have your house inspected by a third party it's worth the money remember these are new homes being built by the crafts and managed by project managers build multiple homes at one time things will get missed. I enjoyed working with the finance Raul Cunes. He was the best part of the buying experience. We had a good time with the design center. They really were helpful in getting all of what we wanted. We also liked Melena our sales agent. We had some miss communication but in the end she came through.

Best response by construction superintendent.

Overall the experience was great! If possible I would go through KB once again. I even am telling family and friends to go through KB.

They guys have beeen great as well as page. Sergio and Juan and all the others that have come assist me.

There were a number of issues with the home and most of them were addressed quickly.

Overall the process has been pretty good. The team delivered on a specific date that facilitated an out of state move which was critical. Even though Liberty and Cadence are both KB home developments, there appears to be an unofficial class system with Cadence appearing to have more benefits. The response to the final punch list appears to be a little delayed relative to earlier interactions with the team. May be due to availability of contractors and not related to KB management of the process.

KB Homes has great team, they supported me during the buying process.

Mortgage team was extremely diligent and worked with me to get everything I needed. Project manager was also great. Sales team added unnecessary pressure when I was in the middle of selling my other property but I am very happy with my new house.

Realty and build staff are top notch! Sophia, Juan and Dennis were great! Only issue in the entire home buying process was caused by SC Edison’s inability to meet deadlines for meter install and home energize, which delayed closing by 2 months

The home was ready on time as promised

As my sales consultant John was always available and worked to find answers for the few questions he didn’t have answers for initially. He contacted me weekly with updates. Eric, the construction supervisor also contacted me weekly with updates and to review structural and mechanical amenities. All employees were always on time and very professional. Bret, my loan officer was also always available and extremely helpful . The follow up and detail in this company is amazing. Through each phase of construction I met new people. KBhomes is a good, however you must pay attention to detail and stay on track with the loan office, as well as the builders in the design studio. Your responsibility to dot your eyes and cross your teeth. As I was once told by an employee, KB Homes is in the building business, and writing contracts, that best represents them, and not to consumer. They have been proactive with following up with some issues that may come up after a new build. Overall great experience all departments were helpful. Only issue was that we would be rushed to do things and then the representatives wouldn’t return the favor. Meaning we would get rushed and then they would lag when we needed responses or things on their end to be handled. Other than that it was great still happy and satisfied I went with KB.

The sales experience with Severo and Jonathan was flawless. They both set the bar really high with the attention to detail and responsiveness. The construction portion matched the level of customer service set by Severo and Jonathan. Ray and Travis sent multiple updates a week and kept me in the loop throughout the process. There were multiple times we met up during construction to give me tours of progress and answer any questions. If there were any issues, they resolved them immediately. If I were to purchase another home I would request to work with these folks. However, I wouldn’t finance with KB unless there were good incentives and if I worked with Tanya. My original officer Jaimie, did not meet the expectations set but the rest of the process. No communication throughout the process unless I initiated the conversation but still took forever to respond if I even got a response.
