My husband and I had a good experience while purchasing the home but it was the experience after that could have been better. There were small things here and there that needed to be fixed after the move in. It felt a little hard to get someone to come and fix those issues at times and that was a little frustrating.

I cannot stress enough that experience with KB homes has been great from the start. The biggest compliment would be that of the customer service. The only negative feedback I would provide is the quality of workmanship. Now that we've been in our house for over a month, we've noticed a decent amount of flaws with paint, caulking, carpet, and others. There are many spots where there is pain "runs" on the doors, even with dents in some of the interior doors. KB has been quick to respond to fix however, it would have been nicer to not have to deal with it at all, especially given the price we paid for the house. ... More

A few minor concerns but overall decent experience.

They are quite good to deal with but would consider the construction to be middle of the road. Not having landscaping included has been beyond frustrating as the side and back of the house are all clay that sticks to your shoes and takes a lot of time to get off of everything.

Okay grading. A little to pricey for a few cheap looking standard fixtures like the flooring.

Bought a newly built home from KB. There are 3 steps involved. First of ,the construction process was great. The superintendent and the construction manager kept us up to date and were receptive to our complaints and concerns. The home was delivered with minor cosmetic flaws which were fixed. So, we are definitely happy with that. However, the sales person who sold us the lot and floorplan was either not knowledgeable or just plain deceptive. We were told things that proved to be false. I requested several times if there were any model homes for our floorplan at other KB locations for us to visit since this particular subdivision at the time has no model homes to show for. We received no help there. Seems like the sale was in the bag and we're left on our own. We had to look for ourselves few presentations were made to us and our realtor proved to be false. Next step, the design studio. The person at the KB design studio who took care of the home upgrades was omitting critical info. For instance, we upgraded our bathroom which included a huge clear window. But this was not relayed to us. Who wants a big clear window in the bathroom??? The quality of workmanship was definitely lacking. It was obvious that the drywall and paint teams took no pride in what they were doing. I’ve had them back twice as they had to fix one of their repairs. I’m still finding spots they missed.

I like comunication, dseginn plan models and size of closet I love it

Good neighborhood close enough to everything you need and Loop 1604 as well to Sea World, however, far away enough to keep that peace and quiet. The square foot for the price is better than most neighborhood. The sale team and foreman are really helpful and keep you infor in all the faces of the construction. The neighborhood had multiple types of model houses available to choose for different size families. Overall, is a good company that deliver quality product and good value.

Be patience as other homes are being built around and this creates lots of construction traffic with dusts.

Great builders less than stellar materials. Some questions, particularly early on, took days to get answered.

Successful construction of a new home requires a partnership between the purchaser and the builder. KB Home starts with a balanced, well-priced product offering, and they follow up with reasonable and prompt response to the unpredictable problems that inevitably occur in semi-custom home construction. I was thoroughly satisfied with the result.

Some upgrades shouldn't be paid for. It is s desappointment. Already having issues with the backyard, water sitting in and my ceileing lamps falling off. I like my house but you could have done better

We had a wonderful experience with our salesperson Dianna. She was really great.

We like our home and area. All personnel are friendly and helpful.

We have great experiences buying this home. The people we talk about our concerns are reliable and have taken their actions fast. The only thing we are wondering is why does our account is being transferred every month to different lending companies . We foound it hard to set up a permanent account to pay our monthly mortgage

They never seem to get the time frame right and each dept did not seem to speak to the other (eg sales, construction, financial). So be flexible because we waited 3 additional months from the original quoted completion date, but it’s what you get to design. So the process sucks but the final product we love.

Some slight issues here and there after moving in but KB has been extremely responsive. Thanks to Thom, Dave, Jesus, and all the people at KB for a wonderful home.

Overall good buy. Material quality is barely average. Upgrades are pricy.

Can recommend to others

Jeff from the sales office was very friendly and quick to respond to our needs. There were several things that had to be cleaned up after our walkthrough that seemed to be ignored but we were reassured by the superintendent that 1 year home warranty will cover it.
