The entire KB Team is quick to respond to any questions or needs. I have no complaints other than having to do a lot of concrete work and landscaping after the purchase.

Genesis and Darin were extremely helpful, they went up and above trying to always make us feel excited and very happy throughout the process.

Buying from out of State, all KB Home Representatives were very accommodating to our situation and responded quickly to our questions.

While there were some issues, that needed major attention I would like to take a moment to highlight two people that in our opinion, went above and beyond to not only ensure that the many situations was addressed but personally ensured that we were informed every step of the way. First I would like to highlight Raul Garcia, Raul was not only personally involved in every aspect of the home buying experience, even once the home was handed over Raul, would stop to visit, call , text and answers all questions that we might have. Raul not just listened to our concerns he heard what we were saying and took the necessary steps to remedy the issue as best he would. He connected us with the right people and stayed engaged the entire process. The second person I would like to is Robert (Bob) Dinsmore from the moment that Bob got involved with the issues revolving the broken and none functioning appliances, Bob did everything that he could to make sure that we were taken care of, like Raul, Bob would ask detail questions about the situation and understood that at times the situation caused by faulty appliances placed the entire household in danger of coming in contact with COVID-19. Lack of communication and professionalism with other departments, but Customer Service/Construction team provides the best customer care.

Our interactions with the sales office and construction superintendent has been great/off the charts. However, the quality of construction has left something to be desired.

They will provide all the information that you need right away.

We love our house, but we had to move quickly so the walk through was fast and now we are seeing small details. The main issue that we had/have is some of the light fixtures and fire alarms are popping off.

The individual from KB Homes who sold me the home was great. Always there to help and get answers quickly.

Affordable homes, nice hill views and prime location

The process was good. I found it disappointing from the get-go that if our real estate agent was not present on first visit they would not be allowed on the purchase contract. This cost me several thousand dollars on the start with no going back, despite using their preferred agents. The building process was good and relatively quick despite the early stages of the pandemic. The builder overseeing my home was outstanding and fixed everything I requested, within the bounds of KB's very tight leash. The design center had plenty of options despite being highly overpriced, I performed the same upgrades myself at 25% of the cost. The primary down point was when I was up-sold by HomePro for a internet/cable provided conduit that ended up being useless due to a failure for the company to communicate with the installers from AT&T. Everything was great until I found a crack down the middle of my front por ch. I was concerned about the comet made after that that I should just wait cuz I'll get cracks all over the place as the house settles. Before that everything have been wonderful. now I'm concerned about the cracks in the drywall and everything else that's going to happen.

Ask questions. There will be things that you overlooked that you will be kicking yourself later on

I’m pleased so far with the project manager and the responsiveness when I have questions and needs. On the other side the experience through the mortgage approval and closing has been the worst experience ever. The closing was pushed more than 2 weeks from the original due date because the loan processor/analyst didn’t even check the emails I sent with the documents requested until the original “day of closing”. Documents where sent multiple times. No updates whatsoever after the delay, every day was a different story or request and no “target” day to close the loan. Even the appraisal for a property of their own was delayed and coordinated super late in the process. I will never finance again with KB home ... More

The process of buying a new home is very daunting. I would suggest talking to other other people first to get some insight. Not all home buying experiences are the same. Make sure your finances are in order because, you will be required to offer up a lot fo information. I also, suggest reading the home buyer 101 guide you can find online. Make sure your builder stays engaged with you. I think the most important thing to do is read and ask questions. I have to admit I did feel rushed going to the studio. That is one of the things that I hated about this experience. I hate to be rushed especially when it comes to my money. It's not not just a house it's your home. Don't let anyone rush you or try to tell you what you want. I can't really complain because, I had a great realtor. So, my experience was not as bad as I've heard other people say it is.
