expected better finish than delivered. Ok, but not great. small things not up to par. Need someone on site before closing to review the complete structure for finish - paint, flooring, install etc. House was not up to standards or readiness and cleanliness. Jess saved the day at closing.

Very happy with my new home. After moving in we have found minor details and same were noted by our Engineer, Joey and all were taken care of promptly. Very happy with the attention given on matters.

I do not recommend buyers to go with KBHS lending. They are awful to work with. They do not communicate well with the home buyer to the sales office to the Title company. It’s hard to reach them and only via email. From sales office to customer service to construction, they were great to work with.

Good Experience - Buyer Must Stay Involved

I would refer KB to a friend or relative with the caveat that they must stay alert and involved during the whole process. If you don't understand something, speak up. There were several errors along the whole buying/building process. KB was responsive and corrected the issues after I noticed and mentioned the errors. Of note, I found a lack of transparent deadlines for making buyer decisions, with a then all of a sudden immediate need to finalize choices with a very short lead time. I had done my research early into the options I wanted (both within the KB design center and outside ...

KB Home met and exceeded many of my expectations. But it seems like you deal with too many different people during the process and it can get extremely confusing. I did feel as though some of my upgrades were too expensive.

Sloppy clean up before move in

Nails and metal pieces along back of house. Towel racks not secure. Light fixture in main bathroom not straight. Drip system in front yard not working for plant next to entrance stairs. cement dropping on driveway (hard will take hammer and chisel to remove, Front light fixture not straight

The PM for our community has been very responsive when trouble with our home arises. Attention to detail during the building process by the builder and PM needs to improve in order to illiminate the iisseus I have experienced.

Important to be fully engaged in the production process. Pay attention to details and take proper notes: who, when, where, and why. Especially the pre-walk-thru, and final walk-thru before closing. Punch list completion after closing is onerous, some issues still open six (6) weeks after closing.

House was built according to plans, things went smooth from beginning to end. There were some minor issues that the builder had to come back to fix, but overall things went well. Good customer service, good construction manager, good warranty service, and good studios inventory. The reasons I didn’t give the 5 stars was because we found lot of crack on the garage floor foundations, and front porch. We also found three same long crack on the door molding frames. There were a few dents on the door molding frames, and the house was not clean when we moved in.

Pretty Homes But...

Homes are very Pretty. They tell you that their homes are special and all the different things they do that others don't (supposedly). They told us the sub-flooring is laid down a special way so that you never get creaky floors, but we have only been in our house for a month and already the floors knock and creak. Also if you have children, do not let them in your backyard until you have a chance to get it fixed up looking how you want it. Their construction crews leave nails everywhere and the yard dirt is filled with them. The home warranty program is a nice touch since they know they cut ...
