In general, it is a good builder.

Our sales rep and superintendent were very responsive, easy to get ahold, kind and always went the extra mile for us. We did have an issue at the end of our closing that took a call to corporate to handle but our sales rep and super were there guiding us through the process every step of the way. They made this experience 100 x's better. Thank you both for everything.

Punch list 2 1/2 months, not complete

KB really needs to do a review of the landscaping subcontractors. Too many weeds in the sod, sod placed with gaps in between. It will eventually grow together, but will take a couple of growing seasons. Each home is elevated, which is good in case of flooding, but leaves a water-logged trench between the homes, after a heavy rain, which takes days to dry out due to sunlight only hitting the areas for a short time due to the zero-lot-line layout of the development. So far, I am very happy with the construction of the house.

As a first time home buyer the process was very smooth. Doug in sales was very helpful with assisting us in getting exactly what we wanted.

I would refer KB to a friend or relative with the caveat that they must stay alert and involved during the whole process. If you don't understand something, speak up. There were several errors along the whole buying/building process. KB was responsive and corrected the issues after I noticed and mentioned the errors. Of note, I found a lack of transparent deadlines for making buyer decisions, with a then all of a sudden immediate need to finalize choices with a very short lead time. I had done my research early into the options I wanted (both within the KB design center and outside resources), and so I was thankfully prepared to make the choices. If I had not been ready, I could have been forced into making decisions that might have been mistakes. Buyers...stay involved in the process and speak up when something is not right. Nails and metal pieces along back of house. Towel racks not secure. Light fixture in main bathroom not straight. Drip system in front yard not working for plant next to entrance stairs. cement dropping on driveway (hard will take hammer and chisel to remove, Front light fixture not straight

We had a great experience with KB with only minor issues involving misunderstandings between their team. We love our home and are very happy!

Nice house in a nice neighborhood. Phillip has been great. Chelsey at the studio was super. The studio was really fun, helpful and highly recommended.

The quality of the building materials as of the framing I saw a lot of pieces that I would have use , But they pass inspection I also saw those same pieces and other homes being built . Once in the you start to notice small things like Call king not done in some areas grout already decaying ,, window seals not even , I have been in the house 2 months still have a problem with gnats, can’t seem to get rid of them, the building manager and my want to person has definitely tried to help with the problem and I commend him for that .. Overall I am happy with the house

Easy to work with. Process was explained clearly and given timely updates. They finished a month early which worked out great. Overall very pleased with my purchase

The home buying process was pretty smooth. I appreciated all the actors throughout the process providing excellent customer service & responsiveness to any inquiries I posed. I am quite disappointed that the 2019 taxes were passed on to me for the four months prior to my closing. As a disabled veteran I claim homestead exemption yet I have to pay for a tax that the seller should have incurred. Although not deceptive, I do think it was a bit underhanded for them to pass that tax off to me instead of paying it outright to the city. Especially for a house I didn’t occupy for the assessed months.

My wife and I love our townhome. The sales staff was professional, honest and helpful. The after sales staff has been helpful with a couple of minor issues and they are timely in their response. Unfortunately, we have had less than a happy experience with the KB mortgage side of the business. I will not recommend them.

Process started off positive. This was our second KB home so had some knowledge of the process and what to expect. As time progressed we were offered design credits and improvements that were told could not be accommodated at the 11th hour due to materials being ordered for the house construction placed by the previous buyer that fell out of the deal. Sales staff was prompt at replies prior to construction, but questions to answers toward completion of the house began to take a few days for a reply. My suggestion would be for sales to be transparent and design and construction to tighten communication so buyers are not promised upgrades that can’t be accommodated. The entire process building with KB was extremely smooth. We love the flexibility of choosing different options, changing floor plans, and adding different features to make our home unique. The only wish we had was better quality flooring/non-carpet options for the base options (carpet is pulling up and going flat after 1 month).

If your picky about a few things let it be known before the construction begins. That way it’s done to your standards.

Could have used better quality fixtures. Also there is lots of overspray on the flooring. It very good at details.

Good value for the price.

Check home for any things that need attention from seller. Make sure you let them know when you haven't received any call backs to fix the problem. This helps the builder in who they use for their construction and appliances.
