The contract supervisor that was employed when we bought our house was horrible! So many things were not completed for our home on the Closing date and he lied about so many issues and made excuses for not being able to complete items.

They are patience and willing to work with first time home owners.

We managed to buy a new home. Overall, the construction quality seems fine, and the construction superintendent was good at getting contractors to fix a handful of little things. The company was not impressive, though. The floor plan has quite a bit of wasted space, particularly in bathrooms. There is no gas service or phone-company service (CenturyLink) in the neighborhood. That means no gas appliances and no competition for internet service. Despite the company's claims of energy efficiency, the water heater is off the high end of the government scale for cost of operation. The sales person and others in the company were sometimes hard to reach. Avoid using the company's preferred title company, which seems to defer to the builder on everything. The KB people were always very responsive and helpful with the entire process - Sales, Showroom selections, Construction Management, Closing, After closing touch ups and follow ups. A great group of professionals who have been a pleasure to work with.

We had a great experience buying a KB home.

It was a ok experience overall. The house is nice but definitely could have been better. The house seems like it was rushed to be built and a lot of corners cut. Again my fault for not catching it durning the inspection. Some of the hired trades took pride in there work and it shows while other rushed. Now getting the stuff fixed through warranty is a hassle, the communication isn’t that great and the people try to get out of fixing it when they come and tell you they don’t hear or see a problem when clearly there is a problem. I do not think I would buy another kb home though.

Can't recommend KB Homes to friends and family more!

This is the 1st time we have purchased a KB Home. We love our house but have had some issues with the quality of workmanship. KB has done their best to get things taken care of but it is somewhat frustrating when you purchase a brand new home and have to deal with issues. We are hoping that we don’t continue to deal with to much more in future but if we do we hope they continue to take care of things as they come up.

You get what you pay for and even a bit more.

Nicely built home, just a couple of design flaws, pertaining the kitchen light placement, the hallway light placement entering the home from the garage, no screen door for the patio and the driveway could be a little wider to accommodate two vehicles. In addition, the garbage and recycling cans need an area on the side of the house to be placed, most likely some type of cement platform.

KB Home was very pleasant to work with. From beginning to end, they were communicative and responsive to any or all issues we had. We are very happy we bought a KB Home!

You guys can do better. KB is a big corporation. I was expecting great service and quality. I am disappointed with the whole experience. This is not my first new home I purchased.

Everyone from the sales office and from the KB home studio were just amazing. It’s a stressful experience buying a home, especially when it’s your first home, but everyone each step of the way helped make this a special experience. Especially with all the delays COVID caused but it was still a breeze working with everyone.

Make sure to do lot of research and ask question when in doubt . KB home have a great staff to assist on every step of the way

I have nothing but good things to say about the process from start to finish. Even though Covid hit at the beginning of the process, KB Home was still able to deliver my home in a timely manner and with no issues. Would recommend them to family and friends for sure.

The support from all the staff through the whole process, i will recommends KB to others even others members of my family are planning to buy a KB home house too. My wife and I, we have very happy and please with our home. thank you all at KB

They have great design options to choose .

I’m pleased so far with the project manager and the responsiveness when I have questions and needs. On the other side the experience through the mortgage approval and closing has been the worst experience ever. The closing was pushed more than 2 weeks from the original due date because the loan processor/analyst didn’t even check the emails I sent with the documents requested until the original “day of closing”. Documents where sent multiple times. No updates whatsoever after the delay, every day was a different story or request and no “target” day to close the loan. Even the appraisal for a property of their own was delayed and coordinated super late in the process. I will never finance again with KB home ... More

It would be great if could stay a week or two to check over everything before signing. So you can see what need to be fixed or more attention received

From model home tour to closing the deal kb homes and all the employees (sales, design, construction) were honest and open to any questions I had and provided best service. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend for anyone.
