I wish KB homes was more flexible and agreeable to minor design changes.

Nice house in a nice neighborhood. Phillip has been great. Chelsey at the studio was super. The studio was really fun, helpful and highly recommended.

Underwriting ruined the whole experience because VANESSA never knew what she was doing and constantly requested duplicates or conflicting information.

Home had two issues that should have been identified and addressed during quality checks. Very disappointing. Issues have since been addressed but it took quite some time. Water was not turned back on to dishwasher after installation causing motor damage and changing a lightbulb led to power outage in two rooms, one of which a bathroom and the other a home office. Electrical company used by KB is not reputable, professional or timely.

Great experience buying with KB. Was good to have everything we needed under one roof. Very attentive staff who listened to what we needed, from the Sales team and the interior design studio to the building and closing team. We love our new house.

I think the quality of materials and workmanship could have been better. KB should have given more options for selection and included additional standard options for appliances and fixtures compared to other builders in the area. Also the floor plan could have utilized more space upstairs when compared to the total build up area. Overall satisfied 1st time home buyer. I got the product what I have paid for.

On your walkthrough look over it with a fine-tooth comb there's always something that you miss

Somewhat sloppy on workmanship. Many finish details overlooked. Tiles with saw marks continuing for inches past a cut of a tile. Most window sills without paint on sides or bottom. Sloppy caulking around door trims but painted over anyway. Overall, a nice house, but with many finishing touches overlooked. The people at KB who have been helping us resolve issues after move-in have all been very responsive and great to work with, though.

We moved into our new home about 2 months ago. The overall experience with KB has been pleasant. Their staff has been amazing getting all the little odds and ends fixed and wrapped up. With that being said I feel there was a handful of things that were missed that could have been corrected before we moved in. Little odds and ends of holes being left in walls where a railing was moved, a few cracked roof tiles, bathroom fan not even being wired up, and issues with windows not closing and opening right. I also feel as if some of the sub contractors cut some corners to save some money, for example no weed barrier under landscaping. It's hard having to deal with the constant scheduling to have sub contractors out fixing small things that could have been caught before it got to us, but the customer service reps go so far above and beyond to make sure every little detail is corrected in a timely manor. If something comes up they are only a phone call away and get the ball rolling as soon as they hang up the phone. They have never once made me feel like my requests were absurd or unreasonable. ... The quality of the building materials as of the framing I saw a lot of pieces that I would have use , But they pass inspection I also saw those same pieces and other homes being built . Once in the you start to notice small things like Call king not done in some areas grout already decaying ,, window seals not even , I have been in the house 2 months still have a problem with gnats, can’t seem to get rid of them, the building manager and my want to person has definitely tried to help with the problem and I commend him for that .. Overall I am happy with the house

Overall very pleased with our home. There were some small glitches in end but most were resolved to our liking. The main issue I have is the constant surveys and reviews requested by KB, plus the insistence by the staff the receive all 10's for ratings (because they don't get their bonus if not all tens). Well, news for you KB nobody is capable of all 10's all the time. People make mistakes. Plus, nagging by the staff every time we saw them to "please give us 10's on the survey. That was enough to make me want to give 0's. You should want to know what the issues were not the successes. One staff member hinted at giving us extra things on our home so we would give him 10's. If you want a true measure of how you are doing, look at how many referrals from current homeowners to prospective buyers. ... More

The home was beautiful to see on completion. It is the small things that should have been resolved that prevents an excellent experience. Many of the small things weren't big problems, however there are a few things that will need to be addressed and resolved at a planned date.

im enjoying the new home, hope it will with stand the test of time. during the build i feel like i had to be the one to catch issue that come up along the way. two key points being that an extra window was installed that my wife noticed,and we got that fixed at framing but, the other issue i noticed was after the stucco was done. a second window was 3 feet off 3 feet come on. the super on the job at the time gave me the option to leave it or move it. well we had to move or it would have taking away from the great room. after the window was moved the inside drywall patch came out fine but, the out side stucco patch was horrible didn't match the rest of the house and was bulge out. from what i have heard that this was the second tome that it was redone and it need to be redone again. the third time to over look the patch now on the final walk though and with the sale of my other house going through i feel that i had no choice but except how it looked. i will say that it looked better that the second pass but, the bulge is still there. visit your new build weekly take notes and measurements and come pair them to your lay out. ... My seller was awesome and attentive. Great to work with Amanda Hall. Not sure what his title is but Steve did my final walkthrough and was nice and respectful. However, I felt rushed to sign off. I signed off as complete even though there were several items that still needed some minor attention. He said the guys were coming that day so it was fine to go ahead and sign. When I moved in there was still blue tape in lots of spots. Looked like nothing I asked for was done. Also, the keys given to me on move in day didn’t work so it was disappointing to think I was walking into my new home but couldn’t. I will say Steve fixed the problem within the hour of calling. ... The home buying process was pretty smooth. I appreciated all the actors throughout the process providing excellent customer service & responsiveness to any inquiries I posed. I am quite disappointed that the 2019 taxes were passed on to me for the four months prior to my closing. As a disabled veteran I claim homestead exemption yet I have to pay for a tax that the seller should have incurred. Although not deceptive, I do think it was a bit underhanded for them to pass that tax off to me instead of paying it outright to the city. Especially for a house I didn’t occupy for the assessed months.

Construction Supervisor Charles did a great job at every phase and was in touch and available when I needed him.

The quality of counter in bathroom is poor lots of scratches already.

My wife and I love our townhome. The sales staff was professional, honest and helpful. The after sales staff has been helpful with a couple of minor issues and they are timely in their response. Unfortunately, we have had less than a happy experience with the KB mortgage side of the business. I will not recommend them.

I was pleased with the experience.

The overall house is great, we have a better than quoted SEER rating, but the toilet seat won't stay up. The hinges squeak on the pantry door. It is the little things that need attention. The KB Home crew has done an impressive job in correcting all the little detail items that have shown up in our first 30 days, if the subs would have done things correctly on the first go around there would be a 5 star rating up top.
