You get what you paid for!!!

The painting, tile work and concrete work was poor. I realize that this is not a custom home but the work above bad.

Overall, we are happy with our purchase. John, the site manager, was very attentive to our needs and questions. Also, Angela, in sales, was a great help and very personable!

CHECK EVERYTHING WHEN MOVING IN. THE HOUSE IS WELL DONE, BUT SOME THINGS MAY BE FORGOTTEN BY THE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN CHARGE.

From start to finish it was a pleasent experience. I would suggest KB homes to use better quality products to compete with other builders.

Builder does not listen to suggestion. Afraid to spend an extra 50 dollars

The home I purchased in Tucson is overall wonderful. KB Homes designed and built a very good, solid home. It is in a great location, central to many conveniences. The home is priced competitively. The design is excellent, with a spacious great room as well as spacious bedrooms and closets. The home has some very nice views of the mountains. Upgraded floor tiles and kitchen cabinets and backsplash are beautiful. I have been looking for a house for about a year and this home was the first that met most of my criteria. KB sales agent was very helpful with the home purchase process. KB staff is friendly and want to help. However, there were many smaller issues that needed repair in the home prior to when I moved in and they did not all get fixed after the walk-through and prior to the close of escrow, So I now am still getting these things fixed a few months after moving in, which is not ideal. Many of these issues could have been prevented if the building superintendent or his staff had checked on the quality of their work. For example, dirty gloves and nails were left on the roof of the patio cover, paint was uneven, paint was found on carpet, floors, and even cabinets, master bath exhaust fan not working, master shower door was stuck and not lined up to close, front porch light was not working, half of the plants put in the front yard were poor quality or nearly dead. This is only a partial list but shows that home was rushed to complete on time without attention to quality. Customer service afterward was good and there is a good warranty on the home, but it would have been much better if KB found and corrected the issues prior to the client noticing. Also, with all the construction going on, there is often trash blowing over my front yard, and broken tiles and nails on the road. The common areas also have trash and broken glass which makes it difficult for me to walk my dog. It probably would be better to not allow clients to live in the area until all the construction is complete and everything is safe and clean. Overall though, I would definitely consider KB Homes if you find a home you like. KB has asked and listened to my feedback and hopefully some constructive improvements will happen. ... More

Buying the home with Karen and Pamela was easy and pleasant. There have been several workmanship issues that now, almost 3 months in, haven’t all been taken care of. Everyone is SUPER nice, but it’s inconvenient to have to take off of work to get things fixed or to wait so long on solutions.

They gave attention to every tiny details. I'm very happy with the construction and also with the maintenance.

The best buying experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was great to work with and the sales staff was very responsive to all of my concerns. I was disappointed with the initial interior painting of the walls and doors, but KB Home was quick to rectify the issue and make sure that I was happy with the final outcome. The house is very energy efficient and I would highly recommend this builder.

The only issue I'm having is the delay in responding to my issues, concerns with warranty dept.

I overall had a positive experience. I’m happy with my home, but there have been issues at the end when we moved in. Our Dishwasher didn’t work when we moved in, and it took several phone calls and emails to get at response from the builder. We still have a broken closet door, and a shower that constantly drips. We were sold that KB was good with details, but that hasn’t been our experience. During the construction process though they were great. Great communication, and super helpful. It’s just too bad, we had so many things not working when we moved in.

kB homes at all satisfaction but some issue are not solved

The house itself is beautiful and located in a great area. The quality of workmanship is decent, though the contractors sometimes leave much to be desired. Overall, we are grateful for the finished product and have enjoyed living here. However, after some time, we've noticed that certain shortcuts were taken during construction. It's important to be aware that while you'll get good value for your money, the building process tends to move quickly, and some corners may be cut by the builders.

Overall experience was very good. Sales and financing were excellent but, there were too many constructions flaws. some of them corrected before closing others after we moved in. At the end most of them were fixed to satisfaction on an average time frame. I think there is areas that need improvement specially after sales; warranty process needs to review process workflow, that will help a lot and will make the warranty/service more reliable and reduce the frustration on owners and also KB warranty team.

Overall, a good experience in this house, they do have details to take care of, but I'm happy and thankful!

A bit of a struggle to finish final punch list items.

It was pretty seamless for the most part. At a certain point in time, my on-site sales rep had been moved and there was no follow-up or redirect to a different rep who was still at the community. We kind of struggled on that aspect for a little as our only point of contact became either our Loan Officer , Tammy, who Was AMAZING, or Tony our project manager. Some questions felt like they needed to be directed to someone not even stationed at the property site any longer, and also having that sales rep presence would have helped with applying follow up to requests or inquiries made to the construction team and creating a sense of urgency to a necessary degree. In that sense there was a shortcoming from KB to not facilitate that process more seamlessly. Also, my cousin got a house down the street and was welcomed with a blanket and KB home box of other goods, we did not get so much care. Could really care less about that- however it goes back to the principle of the issue of not providing that same level of customer service and relations that we initially received and expected through out. As far as quality, every aspect has a human touch so nothing could really be perfect, however it did bother us that our studs, walls, and trusses were all framed after really heavy rain and thus made all boards muddy. Other than not standing behind fixing defects, the homeowner has found one another license. Tradesman came in to perform upgrades to the home and found a defect. KB said the tradesman caused the problem. They never make mistakes

The overall experience purchasing the home was great. Anthony are super and Michelle are sales Rep were amazing. The problem I have is with the length of time it takes to have the warranty rep get our 10 day warranty. It has now been two months and all the problems have not been taken care of.

The ceiling it’s broken it’s no problem no good

The home is great. we love it. It was a model home , We had to have a few things worked on for move in. This was handled very poorly, workman ship very poorly done. The worst thing we encountered was the workers building your new homes across the street have driven in my drive way with dump trucks, trash trucks , trucks loaded with bricks ..And then they have driven in my YARD , rutting my it , over my sprinklers , over 4 times with my pleading for this to stop. Have asked for help and now we are wanting my yard repaired and my drive replaced,, CAN you help. Sad part we love the area and Home .. Not your unconcern of my New home we love . ... More

Although the KB Home was what we had asked for, the house came with various repairs that were brought up prior to the house being placed in our hands. Issues were brought up and never repaired. A home inspector corroborated issues as necessary to fix. The issues are now a part of warranty which means moving and living around people in the house that was supposed to be ready to be a home. The buying and design process was great. The construction less so. That said, few major issues except for feeling ignored and marginalized concerns.

Nice looking neighborhood and the house appears beautiful, however, it is best, to not assume everything works properly, as fast as the entire process goes it is not possible to catch every mishaps. Very unfortunate that we feel like renters still trying to get something to work properly and only being here for almost 2 months.

The house is very nice. But the work done at the end is a little bad.
