A lot of issues were overlooked due to lack of craftsmanship and quality of workers. Simple things that could have been adressed in the matter of a few moments left to be ignored.

There is a lot to say but I will summarize. The construction staff are great. Attentive to fixits. The lender process was stressful due to a lack of communication and difficulty initially getting responses and requested information. The last portion of the process went well. The garage has a large crack in the floor already due to the water heater pole being initially placed in the wrong corner and the concrete poured appropriately in that wrong corner, then the heater pole was moved to the opposite corner and placed after the concrete was already poured, so now there is a crack. Other than that, the construction staff has repaired anything necessary, T he builder offered a survey at the end of the process, saying if I rated them with all 10s, the would include an incentive where the construction staff did a small home improvement such as install ceiling fans or paint an accent wall. To me it seemed more like a bribe. They did not get all 10s from me. Also, the construction superintendent is apparently a 23-year-old according to the office staff, of whom they are all proud due to his huge success at his young age. He drove his extremely loud red Dodge Charger down the residential street at a high rate of speed, then screeched his tires as he drove recklessly onto the main road. He did this more than once and after residents had already moved in. Very immature and unprofessional, and a terrible image for the company. I've been in the house for a little over a month now and everything seems to be well-insulated and put together after the little repairs were done. it went smoothly some what

We found KB Cadence when it was a dirt lot. We were urged to put down our earnest deposit and sell our current home to secure a spot for the new home that would be complete in 6 months. Great! However, the 6 months turned into 1 year and 6 months. In that time I had to move three times because no one could provide an accurate completion date. So much so that we stopped getting an idea of when the house would be done altogether. Agonizing and displacing. It would have been nice to have clear, consistent and (at the very least) transparent communication/expectation setting with accurate lead times way before they started taking deposits (my neighbors all share the same sentiments). Once the home was done it was such a relief. However, I wouldn’t buy in this manner again. Sue and Rory were very kind and friendly through the whole process and understand they were put in a difficult spot. Overall the home and location are beautiful and we believe our home was built with quality materials. The neighborhood is wonderful and it feels like home. However, some of the design is poor - like having your neighbors A/C unit in your backyard and a landscape drain that doesn’t drain, rather it floods instead. ... More

Like the house like the area, getting some of the repairs done is really frustrating as tradesmen don't show or follow thru.

I’m happy to my new home…. But when I came and check little by little I saw some of mistake they made… at first I try to inform them and they respond, after for a long time wait it only 2 visit… they don’t even update me and reply to my message I even take picture that need to fix… I know there are busy but atleast reply me if they gonna do it or not!.. I’m also a customer that spend money to my house. I’m sad I know for them that’s little things, but for me I’m so dissatisfied because that little things supposed to be fix at the first place! It’s funny that little things they don’t pay attention in a first place, so I’m wondering since I’m new and really dont know about need to check to a new build house, I didn’t notice right away all the mistake they made! I wish I have enough time to stay so I have time to check what else need to address. They even forget some of there stuff in my garage, even the things need to re order.. still in here— no update when they gonna order to replace it, I message the Guy who incharge but no reply! Well maybe because they already close the deal that’s why.. so they don’t bother to update me even care to reply to all of my concern.. PS i will never message that guy! I’m so disappointed ... More

Pleasant experience and quick responsiveness to any financial issues.

Sales, construction manager and warranty rep were only good thing/helpful ones about our home buying experience.

Pretty much a basic home buying experience. Home designs are good, but the design center has limited choices. Main problem was with KB's lender if choice. They were VERY pushy and cockt, assuming that we would use them and not shop around. They requested unnecessary information for pre-qualification, and were unwilling to provide a secure channel for sending information - the initial loan officer suggested we send confidential financial information to her personal email account. Highly unprofessional. Many other lenders out there with MUCH better customer service.

Was expecting a better built home, the quality on overall house is a 6.8/10. Later noticed cooked walls and trims. The walls had patches where it didn't have semi gloss paint. The driveway is crooked, some areas needed cracks to be filled. The doors to the garage doesn't fully close. The area where my security system is supposed to be had time so HomePro has to find where else to put it.

Overall, I am happy with my new home. I did a few upgrades after closing which for the price of the home should have been included since I bought their highest priced house.

The design center made us very excited for our new home. The options looked great and what we were hoping for. Laura at the design center was amazing and answered all our niche questions. We were also satisfied with the timeline of work and the quick time to completion. However, we felt disappointed in a few specific but critical areas. All of the meetings for the home are during normal work hours. It made it difficult to schedule the meetings or we need to use work PTO or rearrange work commitments to come. Our frustration was compounded when meetings were changed without commutating to us. Having alternative times for the design center meetings or walk thoughs would have been helpful. During the construction process, we'd often point out issues and they would not take the concerns seriously or try to brush off our concerns. This led to a mistrust of the work that was being done and needing to do our own confirmations that our concerns were addressed, frequently having to follow up multiple times because we were not getting answers or a response. Finally, we were happy with the look of the home when we took ownership but were also disappointed to see a deep clean was not done. The backsplash had globs of grout on the kitchen backsplash, cabinets, and bathroom tile. The floors also had a dirty film on it and required extensive scrubbing. We are happy that we were able to get a home that looks the way we'd like but the process of getting there was frustrating and have concerns in areas about the longevity of the workmanship. ... More

The price was very reasonable, and the sales agent and construction foreman were awesome to handle our needs, but the quality of workmanship needs to be better.

Take look at the plans and options. Don’t be to quick in deciding on options.

The quality of the material is not very good.

The mortgage center I believe is inefficient.,the loan process was very traumatic for me

Overall our new home is beautiful. But we have a few quality issues from drywall, paint, plumbing, shower tile inadequate tile/ grout installation, internet cable that was installed is not compatible with provider and floor foundation / garage floor cracks. The issue are slowly being resolved. We have been told many times the floor concrete cracks are common in Florida. This is new to me. Moving from Virginia, we have not experience this problem. Even though the house is new, we did have a home inspection prior to closing. I would recommend this to future home buyers. In hindsight we should have done more research prior to our Design Studio meeting. There was a lot of information to process when planning our design. ... More

Patience, flexibility, and follow through.

The exterior of the house and the materials are good. The materials used inside the house are mediocre and the workmanship is mediocre

Beautiful community. Lacked communication. Couldn't get a clear date as to when we would close. After they found out we were upset they did go above and beyond to make us happy.

First time buying experience can never be smooth but i live my community and my home. The only thing i would say so is the quality of workmanship could be a little better especially for the price we paid for it.

The experience was good. The homes are very nice and neat. The employees/staff were all very friendly and professional. They made the home-buying experience much more enjoyable!

Lack of attention to detail, so many irregularities one spots only after the fact I guess the excitement of getting a new house vails the blemishes initially truly disappointed with that fact.

Was done sooner than we expected

Ingrid is a amazing sakes consultant. She explained everything very well. Was there to answer my questions responds immediately. A real asset to your team!
