KB Homes has excellent customer service, however the quality of workmanship isn't great. There were many items that need to be repaired, replaced, and touched up. Some upgrades were not installed and had to be completed after the move in. I can't believe they would deliver the house with dents in the garage door and dirty smudges and scratches all over the white cabinets, etc. Nicky and Poco are wonderful customer service folks and I trust them with all the follow up items. They are getting things done correctly!

I think new homes these days are never going to be great quality, just because of the rushed deadlines. The best you can hope for is a builder who takes accountability and will fix things (even if it does take a while).

Seems like my house in a rush closing. Too Many things to fix after walkthrough.

My experience With Kimberly is top notch! She kept me I informed with the knowledge presented! She explained the process along with realistic timeframe as other folks cannot grasp the concept. Clint was the guy who would update me during the build but after 3 months never heard from him again about the progress. It took almost 11 months for the home to be built due to the market and times. Jeremy, superintendent, knocked it out the ball park with giving me the walkthrough and taping stuff prior to close. Jeremy did his absolute best to get things addressed with folks building the homes and even after closing they are coming out to fix when Jeremy and I follow up with each other. KB Finance needs to communicate in full and not have someone agree to a long term lock without informing the cost of it. The folks who built the homes in my community are having issues as we came together and shared things but it happens. KB is a great home builder they just need to assess who they hire to build the homes as the tile folks hired didn’t seem to care much about the work done as some of my tiles are not lined up, cracked and damaged. Only repairs the tile people did was the glass piece in the middle, I’m aware they got tanked. Painters got copious amount of paint throughout the carpets and texture stuff was taped and not completed. Some side moldings have a gap between them, the stone pieces in the front are all over the roof and didn’t clean that part off. Cabinets that were damaged they attempted to paint over it but used the wrong paint color. Homes still being built they allow trash to go anywhere. My complaints obviously are the ones doing the work as it seems no care since they want to come out multiple to do a task that can be completed once. I’d use KB again but I will not rush myself to close if the home has obscurities. Again, Jeremy and Kimberley are absolute rockstars and take their roles serious! ... More

there was some quality built issues with our home. We reached out to the customer service representatives to have the issues correct. They were good at accommodating the requests and fixing the issues.

The value of the home, exceptional. Getting the final touches finished on home, fair.

I had a positive experience with KB Homes until the end. It took 11 months for them to complete a townhouse, nearly 5 months more than they had originally predicted. I had 3 building contractors during that time and my sales rep also left during that time. The lack of consistency between the different phases was evident. The builders have been given too much on their plates to truly manage everything well. They are capable individuals, but the company has set them up for failure. My home was rushed to be finished and many final details were not finished well. The closing date was set and then pushed back another time and the to-do list was long even after closing. Communication was often lacking. The end of construction/closing was not as I had hoped and makes it difficult to recommend KB Homes to others for the time being. Jeff, our Sales Counselor was terrific. I cannot say enough good things about him. Closing was delayed a number of weeks due to supply issues. A number of things were incomplete upon closing in early December and added to the Exception List. We are still waiting to have many of the issues resolved.

Some issues was not resolved before we move to the house specially the cleaning of the house. The person In charge did not do his best to resolve the problem.

Handoff delays , takes about 45 days to fix any issues reported during close.

Jacquie in the sales office was great. She took the bull by the horns on everything from pricing to touch up after the sale to make sure we were taken care of.

KB home price is ok, house building not that good, because my house a lot cracked , but Charlie take care good, very good service, he is very friendly and wonderful!

Home, overall, is great. Sales people and Superintendents are responsive to issues that need to be address. During the walk-thru process, many things were pointed out as "needs to be corrected" and they didn't get fixed, so we continue to point them out, which is frustrating

I am VERY happy with the house overall. It is a dream for me, and I love the design, energy efficiency, and open space. It's in a great area. Aside from the insane unpredictability of when the house would be ready (COVID was very hard to work around), the one headache has been all the cosmetic fixes since moving in. You can tell that the work was rushed and attention to detail was not the priority. I could point you to every corner of the house where lines are not straight, paint was done too quickly, marks / chips everywhere, etc. The only time I felt heard in all this was when a KB customer service rep came to visit the house, and she could see all the the areas of improvement. She assured me that all the vendors would take care of this without me having to look over their shoulders, but that's precisely what I've had to do. I have to field dozens of calls from different vendors for very specific areas of the house (different people for painting, floors, counters, cabinets, AC, security, etc. etc. etc.). And each time someone shows up, I have to point out extremely specific paint splatters, chips, etc...I cannot rely on anyone to actually assess the area and be proactive about addressing every tiny detail. Living alone with a full time job, it's extremely difficult for me to find the time to, essentially...babysit every vendor / contractor who comes through the door. I wish that the KB rep who visited me would take the reins and coordinate every single person and oversee that the cosmetic fixes are top notch. I used KBHS loan services and it is hard to reach out to them. Emails may take days to get a response. It is not easy to reach your loan agent by phone too. Design Studio was ok. Studio employees need more training. I was not able to get certaion answers for some questions I had. there is not enough information for employees to reference for each floor plan's design options changes. HomePro studio appointment was not good. Their consultants don't know what they are selling. They failed to provide some key points about the packages you are puchasing. Get ready for suprises. The built process was good at the beginning. It was fast, and their construction engineer was responsive most of the time. Things got slower at the end. We had to remind every issue multiple times, It was like 1 person responsible from the whole community. We closed a while ago and still trying to get some of the work done that we have spoken months and months ago. The paint job is not the best. Below 3 stars over 5. No attention to detail. Looks like rushed. The room doors are cheap quality. Same as kitchen cabinets. I feel like the standard cabinets in the design studio were different than the ones we have. Overall a good experience just felt some things was rushed and not fully finished correctly and when you have the 10 days and find your issues they should make it a priority to get them corrected

The issues I have had have all been post move in. The sales and construction process were great. Lee and Byron were always quick to respond. Since move in the customer service has been very difficult to get any responses from.

We have a great experience and also the loan officer is great

The sales office and the studio office were great but the process after that not good at ALL, we still have lots of issues with the construction and materials. The finishing touches are still not good lots of mistakes not to count how many still not fix very disappointing this second time

New home buying experience was not bad, kept us pretty up to date. Minor issues after move in that are still being addressed. Getting those issues fixed is taking awhile. Home is nice but can tell some stuff was built in a rush

Quality of home could & should be better for price paid.

my overall experience was good. the team from sales to the the building team always very responsive. The time fame for the entire build was delayed and closing and completion was delayed. Any problems were addressed by Sara and Robert quickly. I surmise some delays were due to Covid. The quality of the building material was builder grade and all upgrades are out of pocket. Kitchen design and panty layout can be improved. Wall installation does not provide noise reduction throughout the home, Lot sizes and spaces of the homes are great. Overall I’m happy with my purchase. KB did a great job communicating throughout the home purchase. There were some minor concerns that I had where improvement could be made by KB.

The experience was great. The staffs were very pleasant to work with. The craftsmanship wasn’t too great. Some of the work were sloppy, Lots of issues to correct afterwards.

We still have things need to be done.Even after 4 months
