Sales department needs more training. We were told a lot of incorrect information. And they never followed up with concerns or communicate with the rest of the team in order to address those concerns properly. Sloppy worksmanship(mainly with paint job of exterior and interior) although our superintend was very nice. Several issues already only two months after closing. We were told there would be 10 day and 1 month check ins/follow up with customer service but we got neither. The only thing we are satisfied with was the design studio experience and consultant.

I know these are cookie cutter homes that are thrown together in less than a few months and I understand things won't be perfect but for the price I paid for the house I would argue the craftsmanship should've been better. Other than that I'm happy to be an homeowner!

Be careful when purchasing in this community. Many of our issues that were blue taped before closing went ignored and are still getting “fixed” 3+ months later. Lack of communication from building manager and lack of quality control. This is not our first home, nor our first KB Home, but the quality and craftsmanship has gone down. Disappointed for sure.

The house itself is beautiful and located in a great area. The quality of workmanship is decent, though the contractors sometimes leave much to be desired. Overall, we are grateful for the finished product and have enjoyed living here. However, after some time, we've noticed that certain shortcuts were taken during construction. It's important to be aware that while you'll get good value for your money, the building process tends to move quickly, and some corners may be cut by the builders.

The sales staff and design team were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, KB Home management were a disappointment. We put our deposit down and paid for upgrades but had to 8 months before they started construction. The management team kept pointing fingers at others without ever keeping the buyers informed.

Overall experience was very good. Sales and financing were excellent but, there were too many constructions flaws. some of them corrected before closing others after we moved in. At the end most of them were fixed to satisfaction on an average time frame. I think there is areas that need improvement specially after sales; warranty process needs to review process workflow, that will help a lot and will make the warranty/service more reliable and reduce the frustration on owners and also KB warranty team.

It was pretty seamless for the most part. At a certain point in time, my on-site sales rep had been moved and there was no follow-up or redirect to a different rep who was still at the community. We kind of struggled on that aspect for a little as our only point of contact became either our Loan Officer , Tammy, who Was AMAZING, or Tony our project manager. We purchased the home and watched it being built. Interesting process and KB appeared to do a good job with that. We did have issues with things being incomplete right up to closing and then they scrambled to fix what was relatively little stuff; it was just super annoying to see (and mentioning them) these items right up to the closing walk-through. week after week. Som,e of the upgrades seem to lack bang for the buck the Gourmet kitchen just adds taller cabinets and supposedly better appliances. Our sales agents were helpful, we enjoyed the design process, and overall, the home has absolutely met our standards - we love living here, both in this community and this home. Blame homeowner for building caused defects

Other than not standing behind fixing defects, the homeowner has found one another license. Tradesman came in to perform upgrades to the home and found a defect. KB said the tradesman caused the problem. They never make mistakes

Solar Not operational

It has been over 12 weeks since we purchased the home with 6 solar panels. The sales lady told me she was going to follow up in setting up solar connection and I don’t need to do anything about it. Thus far there is no progress nor any updates despite my repeated asking. This is pretty disappointing and I find KB homes ranking worse than Beazer with regard to Solar operation.

Nice house, as for the subcontractors??

Overall a very nice house, but some subcontractors need more oversight. For example, I have five rooms wired for ceiling fans and every room is wired differently, so have to remember what switch does what. Some windows don't close far enough for the window lock to fully engage. Windows are low-E but provide almost no sound insulation.

The overall experience purchasing the home was great. Anthony are super and Michelle are sales Rep were amazing. The problem I have is with the length of time it takes to have the warranty rep get our 10 day warranty. It has now been two months and all the problems have not been taken care of.

Pretty mediocre build. Whoever you guys use for sub contractors need to be sat down and reviewed. Light switches, crooked. Toilet seats, over screwed to the point the rubber screw was stripped. Towel bars, drilled directly into the drywall. Speaker outlets on the ceiling, sprayed with wall texture. Double check areas that are low traffic to make sure it has a full coat of paint, and make sure they actually spray dry wall under places you wouldn’t think to look at first glance. Make sure your roof is sealed properly or you can get roof Rats in new developments pretty easy.

There is no clear demarcation between homes which will help to maintain. There were some extra materials in garage during home walk through but later it was taken away. I asked multiple times but no response.
