Quiet neighborhood. Close to all kinds of stores. Great walking areas. Lovely landscaping.

Timeliness and timeline provided of build was on point. Builders provided great workmanship and were very concerned to ensure everything was perfect. Any little issue I had they responded quickly and found a solution to correct the problem extremely fast. It was all about customer service.

Everyone was helpful, and responsive. Communication was fantastic and so were the weekly updates. We are very satisfied.

I'm sorry but with the experience i went through, I would not recommend.

Everyone gets excited to close, but make certain everything is resolved before closing. The staff have been wonderful trying to resolve all of the items that still require paint, or towel racks/tissue paper holders falling off the wall, backyard not cleaned up or fine graded so we can get our landscaper in, and then to add to all of that, the corona virus. We absolutely love the house, just frustrated at how things are being resolved since closing.

Kbhomes Is One of The Best in my opinion for what you get. Great home layouts and endless design possibilities. Nice and friendly Sales and Construction Staff.

Any issues that I have had were addressed immediately. The contractors are simply amazing and make sure that you are completely satisfied with the finished product. I love my home!

I wasn't sure what to expect because I had heard that KB was a so so builder but I can honestly say that they are amazing. Nancy, Jayson, and Brian were helpful, responsive and attentive. They anticipated things we needed and were ready with answers and solutions when we needed them. My parents built with Richmond American so we were expecting certain issues but we had none. Our home is sturdy and efficient. Honestly it's built better than my parents and we paid much less than they did for a comparable home. I would build again with them in a heart beat.

What stands out most to me is their willingness to correct issues I was unsatisfied with.

I don’t like nothing how build the house to much mess and damage tael it’s really bead very big line between ceramic in shovers all silicon its ready pool off ground it’s broke water can likes behind ceramic my door from garage to inside at house I cannot close its all the time open In kitchen it’s very chip material I make big miss take to by this house sun I found another place i can put the pool I will sale this house and move from here i have house bin in 16 y magnolia build it’s very good shape and materials. All I can say is, WOW! I’ve enjoyed this journey from beginning to end. The design studio, my sales counselor, & construction manager all helped me every step of the way. I’m so glad I chose KB Homes as my home builder. I would most definitely recommend them to build your home for life.

Love my new home. Location with awesome view. Architectures of the house is very modern and attractive.

In short, good experience with KB, the service, responsiveness. Would recommend the team and ease of doing business anytime. From a value and workmanship perspective, I think they are mediocre; some paper-thin walls (sound), rushed finishes, carpet tags and bolts missing (though again, good service to fix). I think value (price) is ok for the Bay Area. But for the $ I would expect better materials.

I purchased a new home and after moving in it became obvious that the quality control was poorly managed or nonexistent. The painting was poorly completed and the subsequent touchups that were done were done in a different finish. There are other issues as well, including the dishwasher not being installed properly which resulted in it flooding the kitchen. They respond quickly to the issues but it is obvious that no one tested anything before I purchased the home and I wonder what else was not properly tested. It seems to me that they slap that houses up as fast and cheaply as possible and then deal with the fallout later. ... More

The process took 6 months, which is about what was expected from the original estimate. The house turned out beautifully, and my family and I are thrilled with the result. In addition to the quality of the final product, all of the KB staff have been and continue to be wonderful in terms of consistent communication and following up on requests/inquiries. I would recommend this branch of KB to anyone looking for a new home.

Cody said he would replace our driveway and power wash our garage that’s covered in paint. I’ll be happy to change this after that is done but it’s now been just about 2 months and we are getting the run around we feel like with no direct answer. Our furnace acts ups time to time. The paint inside the house is super cheap and if you accidentally rub your shoulder in the wall it scratches. We love the house as a whole just want the driveway replaced and garage power washed and I’ll be happy. Oh we also had construction workers steal water from our hose which isn’t normal.

KB Home is an excellent building company with an outstanding combination of workmanship, quality, and affordability with professional and friendly staff and service!

The entire kb home team are fantastic to work with. It's special to have everyone from sales, construction, to Customer Service giving the service that truly makes you feel special. The Communications Hill community is beautiful and is the best new home place to buy in the bay area for value. I am very happy with my new home.
