The walk throughs were a bit rushed, and didnt give us the time to fully walk through the home to point out touch ups and or defects. Also noticed alot of the neighborhood has built in sprinkler systems and this was never an option for my fiancé and i .

Kb homes warranty is great. The only issue are the 3rd party companies they use to fix problems can take awhile to get done. Marco electric didnt show up twice when scheduled.

They installed defective faucet in my both bathroom, it has slow dripping water underneath my sink they did fix more then 6 times still have been the same issue.

Overall I cannot complain, my home is beautiful and in a beautiful neighborhood. Pros: beautiful home, beautiful neighborhood, nice price and great location Cons: During the process was promised weekly updates from Frank in the beginning. Communication with him was very difficult and far from weekly. After the build there has been several issues that need to be fixed my weeks have been filled with appointments and people come to do the same thing or put a bandaid on an issue. Example, all doors in my home need to be replaced and someone has come to take pictures 3 times and doesn’t seem to ...

Given the Austin's crazy real estate market, KB did a good job with their pricing, as we had to wait 7 months for the delivery. They had good customer service and continuous updates, however, we had no possibility of changing anything in the house at all. The electric job was great. Lawns are terrible, seems like a tractor went through it and they didn't bother leveling it. Paint people are yet to make an appointment to fix the paint issues 2 months after closing. For the rest of the minor issues here and there their warranty team was awesome, they fixed it all very fast. I'd recommend ...

Wait at least 2 or 3 months before moving in, do not sign walk thru papers until everything is fixed first. If you have money TELL them you or someone else will paint the house because the paint they use is cheap and most of the painter's don't know how to paint and get it all over the floor. Use a simple square and tape measure because the guys that slammed it together DIDN'T.

Great experience up until turn over of the home. several ongoing issues, no landscaping yet (and no sign of it happening anytime soon). get the feeling that there is a "pass the buck" mentality going on. with all that said, we are really happy with the home. just frustrated that we have/had to deal with some of the issues that should have been done at or prior to closing.

Customer service was nice and friendly. We weren’t given the options to upgrade anything. We were given a 30 minute notice to close on the house. There are things that are still broken that were brought up in the walk through. Trimming on the house is peeling off the walls. The back and front yards are nice and big.
