The team here is just simply amazing. There was no pressure. They answered a million and one questions. This was my first time buying a home and they couldn't have made it a less painless process. The sales rep Tracy is fantastic and the builder superintendent Bryan is just the best there is.

They were very accommodating. They said we would be in here within four months and we were. They fixed everything that was brought to their attention and more. Everyone was very pleasant.

Always were committed to getting the sale situated and resolving any issue that arose!

Some things you could tell were rushed and I don't think there should of been so many things that didn't work when I moved in but they were fixed quickly and all the staff has been nice.

We absolutely love the way our house came out! For being our first house we're happy with the way everything came out!

KB is the best Builder in Houston

Our down payment wire was lost by KB mortgage for 5 days, living room texturing very poor quality and roofing subcontractor performance was way below par extending our closing by a month. Other than that, they were great overall.

Construction crew was awesome. Sales staff and loan group was less responsive. Once moved in, we have noticed a lot of small issues that seem to be from rushed work.

Buying our first home was smooth and easy thanks to the people at KB homes.

Last details on the house look the they finished in a rush there is a lot gaps, cracks and the outlets start falling apart.

We had many items on our list from the walkthrough that needed to be addressed. Some minor and some major flaws. 6 weeks later nothing done or committed to being fixed. Spent $$$ on upgrades. Upgraded wood floors have defective boards, whitish color where stain is missing, many scratches and holes. Upgraded cabinets, inconsistent stain. whitish stain on several doors, scratches and doors falling off their hinges. I have personally fixed many items on our "to do list" The customer service people and sales people are all very nice and assure me they will fix issues. But Douglas County came off Stay at Home quarantine May 1st and I cannot get anything scheduled. The tell me no one will come inside to do repairs. They promised they would get all outside issues fixed, but not much done in last 3 weeks. I wish I could rate them higher on being trustworthy but I am afraid some items will never be fixed. We thought we were being diligent working with construction foreman during construction . My feeling is upper management is more concerned with closing homes, getting them off their books and making corporate quarterly projection than delivering a quality home. ... More

The responsiveness has been amazing. They've had challenges given I moved in just as the city was going into the "safer-at-home" measures. Having said that, I'm finding so many nail holes not filled in. I see what looks like flakes on the walls, but when I touch the flakes, they are actually poorly covered nail holes that when touched flake off to show the underlying drywall and nail. I have a shower stall in the master bath, but the tile cuts are uneven making it look like the work was not done by a professional. It was a difficult decision to buy a house in this price range - I think I expected the few upgrades that were done to be impeccably done. ... More

KB Home did a poor job in building my house. It took them almost 6 months to build the house but it looked like a rush job. They installed the kitchen and bathroom cabinets without care. As evident of cracked cabinet doors with deep scratches and dents. The wired shelves were not inspected prior to installation, as some of them already have chipped paint and looks dirty. Paint splatter on tile floor and carpet. They didn’t made an effort to clean up after painting. The doors appeared were not wipe down before painting, dust and dirt were painted over. There were also deep scratches and dents on doors. Chunks of dried cement on garage floor, driveway and patio pavers. They didn’t even wash down the spot where they mix the cement. Splatter of stucco stains on pavers, brick fence and entry way. I believe if you build a house you expect perfection. ... More

would not recommend upgrading your title. KB tile contractors have sloppy work floor is uneven and the grout is three different colors in our new home. Tile company did not even have a wet saw. My son is 18 months old and will stumble when walking to the house on uneven tiles. The other trades seem to do a little bit better for KB. My recommendation would be save your money. Don’t upgrade find a professional that can do it right after you’re in your house.

I purchased my new home and moved from out of state. The entire process was pretty seamless considering I wasn't here to do anything in person. Everyone was extremely helpful in answering my questions and keeping me updated from the very beginning of the sale, to closing and afterwards. Moving is stressful at the best of times, but doing it while we are under stay at home orders was even more stressful. Everyone I have come into contact with has been professional and responsive to all questions and concerns. The process is even better than I could have expected. I had the house independently inspected after moving in and he was impressed with some of the features included and found very little that required action. ... More

I appreciate everyone's efforts in getting our house move-in ready before the stay-at-home orders became mandated.

Overall good experience

Our new home has excellent workmanship and KB Home is so far very responsive to issues. However, we have had a couple of issues such as too much construction material left in garage, cable and telephone connections to the house and within the house not fully installed and connected, some things as lighting and appliances not fully checked as working. KB Homes has been extremely responsive in acknowledging and addressing these issues.

Im not sure if its paint’s or the wood’s quality. Its really very bad, the paint is coming off the wood even tho they painted it recently. Its hardy been 2 months and the paint plus the little part of wood was coming off
