A big issue In the house is taking over a month to fix. More issues arise as initial problem hasn’t been fixed. Dealing with our representative is just a pain and an overall bad experience. She doesn’t know how to resolve and de-escalate issues/situations. Would wish to have a more professional representatives and a better built home.

Always be proactive with every move of the building process. If we did not point out things it would not be fixed until it was too late. Gary was a great project Manger once he took over towards the end of our building. This was very stressful and just could but surrender trust with KB because of all the issues with the first PM. Things were not disclosed fully until we noticed things.

Negatives 1)Closing delayed several times required to sign agreement to sell prior home in order to purchase this one. 2)Construction disorganized no quality control measures in place excessive warranty service tickets needed. 3) Made living in active construction area very unpleasant this is my third new build and by far the worst experience so far. My KB Home buyer experience...

To make it short and sweet.... An overall lack of organization and comunication. Theres no follow through, one issue after another. Two months after move in and theres still things to be installed or repaired in the home. I was hoping for a good experience but sadly KB and its proyect managers did not meet my expectations. I wanted to be in love with my house and at the end I regretted my desition. I would not buy KB Home again.

If I had to go through this experience with KB Home again, I would quickly decline. From start to finish there was always something going wrong or some kind of delay. I would not recommend this builder. The sales team was dishonest and lacked accountability, the design studio made false promises and the builders just told me straight up lies. The only positive experience I had was the financing part that is did through KB Home.

Partnering with KPS is a huge mistake

I’ve had good moments with KB in buying a house. Problem is, they partner with KPS for electrical and cable wiring. The job done is horrible. Wires are not terminated, and some wires are not connected. I have been begging for them to come and finish their jobs… It’s already taking them over 3 months

Lived in my house less than 45 days and multiple things have broken, my garage wouldn’t work and then my washing machine broke. Brand new washing machine and trying to figure out who to contact and if it was under warranty or if I’m responsible to cover costs was frustrating. Everyone was pointing fingers at each other. I love my house but I feel like as a new build less than 60 days living in it I shouldn’t be having these many problems already.

Overall we are happy to have the home but towards the end of the build it was very difficult to get issues addressed or fixed in a timely manner. There were even several small issues they promised to fix after move in because we were so fed up with the delays and needed to move. Suffice to say we’ve been here a few months now and none of the issues have been taken care of. We were also told there would be a complementary 30 day paint touch up that has definitely not happened. Feels like we were on our own after we moved in.

My expectations were not satisfactory, too many construction details that I am still finding, several defects of the house have not yet been corrected, despite being reported. At the time of the closing there was too much misinformation and lack of coordination between the bank and the construction company, causing the closing date to be changed several times. I would like that they could correct all the details to obtain what I initially bought.

KB Homes throughout the sales and construction process is a good partner, however, once our home was delivered with a number of issues we have been unable to get any resolution from KB. They sold us the home in a manner inconsistent with how it was sold and then disappeared. Quality is fine, though there are major oversights and issues with the home.

I suggest not to close until all issues are resolved. After you close they take for ever to resolved your problems. I closed 3 months ago and still waiting for a cabinet door.

After a 16 month build process, I closed with a list of items needing completion by the construction team. While we had progress with some, we are at a standstill with other basic tasks. After involvement of local leaders through escalating the matter, it is clear that my concerns are not a priority for them.

There was a rush to get the closing done without completing all repairs found during the inspection. As a result several are still not repaired 1 month later including a non-working kitchen sink drain which was plugged with construction debris. Does not appear to be an priority placed on getting the repairs since the house has been closed on

This company has made promises with very slow progress in delivery. I am experiencing water retention against the foundation of my home. The rain water last for days. I have been requesting a drain installation however months later after closing in April now June no French drain just leave with standing water.

The experience during home construction was fine until towards the end. Felt rushed during final home inspection and was promised things would be addressed at scheduled check ins after moving in but never got followed up on. Reps would be incredibly slow to respond. KB home just wants you to buy and after closing the level of customer service takes a nose dive.

The quality of the build and finishing work on the home was well below the standards I would expect especially for a half a million dollar house. Multiple issues with the home, some that have taken multiple attempts to fix, and many more smaller issues that at this point I’m just tired of submitting claims. A hinge on the cabinet door in the laundry room keeps coming off, a lot of the door handle throughout the home were placed inside out, the medicine cabinet is crooked and doesn’t stay closed. And these are just the small issues, as of now. Not to mention all the major issues we had to deal ...
