The people are great. Very nice and helpful to work with. Disappointed in the quality.

Service in person was fantastic. Service over the phone was mediocre. AC stopped working after 2 months due to poor drain installation but I didn't have to pay for the repair.

It’s okay

I like my new house and in general it's well built. However, I've had a couple of warranty issues that have been open for more than 2 months without being resolved.

There were some issues with thr electrical. We had things wired so we could install lights and it took 4 hours to put up 4 coach lights because of poor workmanship. We have been in thr house for 4 weeks now and I not sure what else we will find as we go.

Sales, Design Center, Contractors- A+++++++++ KB's Loan Process and Underwriters F++++ We were not first time buyers , good credit, work history and payment history. Not a risk yet we felt like we were being interrogated by the FBI. Customer unfriendly.

Despite some issues, we are still happy with our new KB home.

The Lid on the water meter is broken and it has not fixed yet since Jan 13th. Everyone is aware of it not sure what is causing the delay.

Overall, we were satisfied with our purchase

I had the plumbers miss the hot water pipe to my washer machine and after a week of moving in, my daughters closet flooded. I was miserable and I started hating my house so much. Everything was fixed a week and a half later. It was a very stressful experience. I’m slowly starting to love my house again since that has been repaired.

I did not expect a big name like KB Home to contract workers who were very careless and sloppy with their performance. The caulking and painting job was horrible; we had several missed spots, water-based paint instead of glossy paint was used to disguise missed spots on doors and door frame. Several cracks observed inside and outside the home, and bulging lines observed on the ceiling. The side gate was missing a pole/stud, which left the side yard exposed to the outside. Also, the newly installed HVAC system was retaining condensation in the attic. Another annoying design/workmanship issue is that a smoke detector was placed directly above the oven and causes the alarm to go off every time the oven is being used. All these issues were observed within one month of moving in. On the other hand, the contact person for warranty and repair issues has been very responsive to our complaint; he has been reaching out several times to follow up with repairs. Cabinet are a disaster

I moved in to a new town home at Metro II @ Comm Hill. The location of the community and floor plan is really unique. These factors led me to make the purchase. Overall I think it was a good decision. I was surprised however by the sub-par quality of workmanship all throughout the house. Several chips and scratches in the wood on doors, cabinets, etc. Paint drops on the floor. Misaligned doors. The list goes on and on. For the money I paid I expected much higher quality.

I heard from my friends that KB homes were very good, When I moved to my new home i realized why they recommended KB homes. The quality of the materials they used is very good. What ever they mentioned in paper they mean it and you can see that when you live in KB home. I definitely recommend to go with KB homes.

Overall ok experience. There are a lot things I wished would have been different but the process did turn out better than expected at the end.

We’ve had some issues with walls not being square, and trim finishes and painting subpar. Also we have reached out to our warranty representative without response.

Need to give more options for the upgrades.

This being our first time having a home build it seems to me the materials used on the inside of the home should be of better quality for the price your spending on your home.

Overall pretty pleased.

The only down side we experienced was timing. House was 2 weeks behind schedule and the house was not complete when we did our final walk through or second final walk through before closing.

The process was easy

I am on the field at the options and the basic price were quite high. Or Charithing but KB Home has been responsive when we have had warranty issues so far.
