There were some issues with thr electrical. We had things wired so we could install lights and it took 4 hours to put up 4 coach lights because of poor workmanship. We have been in thr house for 4 weeks now and I not sure what else we will find as we go.

kB Homes made the whole process very easy.

Plumbing contractor states loose sink does not need to be fixed. Painter was good but contractor that does medicine cabinet replaced damaged medicine cabinet with another damaged medicine cabinet. Contractors have no regard for dirt as they track in mud with their boots and do not offer to clean up their mess.

Excellent home buying experience

Have outside paint issues, master bath caulking issues and master shower drain issues. I have advised project manager about flooring issues and was suppose to get back. Nothing. Advised about sliding glass door frame caulking issue. I had an electrical issue where multiple wires were bare in box and it was repaired with just applying electrical tape. Not acceptable. Entry door is damaged and got painted over and other doors in house have same issues. I was suppose to get a complimentary water filtration system at kitchen sink. Company came out over a month ago and said they would contact me and nothing yet. So I'm not happy at all. ... More

My husband and I have been looking for a home for the past year... we came across the model homes one afternoon on our home search. Being that this was our second home we knew exactly the thing we did want vs. didnt. Walking through the models we really like the fact that one home was geared towards the upgraded offers and one was this is how the house comes as is, this made it easy for us to decide the priorities on what we wanted to upgrade and stay within our budget. The process was pretty simple... a few misunderstandings, on upgrades and what all they included but by the time we did the design meeting with Alex we knew what we were getting at what price. Everyone is friendly and professional throughout the entire process! We would do it all over again! Still to this day, builders are checking in making sure everything is working properly, model home personnel call to make sure things are good. A friendly hello when walking by doing checks on others moving in! Overall a great experience! And we have our dream home with all the bells and whistles at a reasonable price for our family to grow in! ... More

I would have loved to have little parks embedded throughout our neighborhood however we are a small pocket within a much larger community, and not even the larger community has those amenities. We upgraded our cabinetry and it seems to chip rather easily, which is frustrating considering we've only been in the home since the start of the year.

I was always scared of buying a new home and all the decisions I’d have to make. The team really holds your hand as much as you need/like throughout the process and the final product is a dream come true

I went with the one stop shopping with KB and thought that was a great idea and it was up until the end. The mortgage company stinks! They don’t communicate in anyway. I was very nervous with making my first mtg pyt, setting up their online payment and through the whole process they never communicated once. A good thing I kept checking the site then I had to email them to see something wasn’t set up right. I went through every other company (utility) and they were awesome, but not this mtg company. What a sad way to end what was a good experience.

Sales, Design Center, Contractors- A+++++++++ KB's Loan Process and Underwriters F++++ We were not first time buyers , good credit, work history and payment history. Not a risk yet we felt like we were being interrogated by the FBI. Customer unfriendly.

I am a satisfied homeowner for the first time in my life. Everything went great. I love the quiet neighborhood.

My only complaints have to do with the quality of the build. I've had trouble and continue to have trouble with the white tile flooring that I had installed. There were red stains all over the house (and there still is some), but I just gave up after the 5th time they sent someone out to clean it. Also, our dishwasher and washer have already flooded the house causing damage to the floorboards. There's patches in the paint on the exterior and paint in some of the outlets inside. Other than that, it's just been minor fixes, but easily prevented issues.

Great staff. Especially, Keith, Carolina and Rachel. They have done a great job.

So far so good.

The experience of buying has been great! Sales and building managers were extremely responsive and want to make sure we were 100% satisfied. No issue is too small and they are prompt in fixing the minor issue. We just had our 30 day walk through and got things fixed we noticed even after moving in! We also get a 1 year review as well but can reach out with any issues before then. If we had to do it again we will feel confident in picking KB homes!
