Our home building experience could not have been better. Across the board, KB was full of professionals that helped us build a beautiful home.

Quality of appliances is great! Few things I’d improve for the price paid, paint quality on walls, insulation in walls so that the house is not paper thin.

Any issue I had Drew was on it! He always kept me informed and did everything he could to make sure my needs were taken care of.

response time to fix any issues is slow

Kb homes staff was great

Their painters all need to go. None of them apparently will use painter's tape, and no straight lines are painted. Horrible paint job that we have to settle for. We have lived in the house close to 2 months. Now they say there needs to be an appraisal where they come in a take pictures of the inside of my home. I am completely uncomfortable with this.

from the salesperson to the Builder even the Mortgage guys were so understanding Shout out to Christina K, Luis A & Jake .M even after I closed they are still here with me.

KB will work their tail off to make sure you are satisfied. Really appreciated everyone reaching out and focusing on customer service. Would absolutely recommend.

Our experience was incredible! We were walked through every step of the way and were amazed at the amount of open communication that the team displayed in order to best serve us in purchasing our first home! Tristan our builder, David our support, Stephanie our mortgage loan originator and Amie our sales rep worked together as one team in order to make sure we got the perfect home we wanted and are extremmely happy with our choice. Even to this day, Tristan and David call to see how we're doing and if we need any items to help with around the house. Horrible sales staff, not customer service friendly, wood that was used to build our home had mold on it, contractors used to build our home were very unqualified and our concerns were not taken seriously. I will never buy another KB home again, ever!

I would pick another builder if I had to redo the process.

Great experience wonderful staff

This by far was the quickest home buying experience my wife and I have ever had! The home builder, loan company and all involved worked so hard to get us in by the first of the year! We love our home and LB has been great making sure everything was as we wanted!

Sales staff was amazing with helping find a lot and floor plan that fits my needs. After that we took a wrong turn somewhere. Once the slab was poured, I identified an issue missing with a missing the rewire for the floor outlet (contract stated before slab). Brought it to the builders attention, his response was it should be there if it's on the contract. Fast forward a week or 2, they had to cut the slab for wiring, bit it was in. During the build had typical issues that were address prior to closing, normal finishing issues. Moving on to closing... So we had a closing date scheduled and there was an issue with the carpet padding that prevented my final walk through, I was not notified until the day before the walk through that it would have to be rescheduled. Keep in mind these walk throughs are during my normally scheduled work day, which the builder knew I had to take the day off to attend. Move forward to the second scheduled walk through, they tried to cancel the night before yet again because the builder had a scheduling conflict, not sure why because he chose the date for the second walk through. My agent talked them into letting us do the walk through with the selling agent and have our inspector do his inspection. Inspection was good only a few minor issue they had already identified to be fixed, horribly laid sod and cosmetic issues which is not surprising since it was a new build. Addressed concerns with the builder and he was happy to "take care" of all the issues. Due to these issues they tried to push my closing date over 30 days due to a total of 4, yes 4 scratches. Glass was scratched in the shower and 3 scratches on the cabinets. We worked through it and closed in a reasonable time, but the lawn doesn't appear to have been fixed, there are large gaps in the sod which I am afraid could injure my kids ankles or pets. Figured I will end up redoing the entire yard so not a big deal. Now that we are moved in I receive a notice that I have a very minor HOA fee that is past due and will begin to be a big problem if it is not paid in 30 day. The information at closing was incorrect and that the closing agent, title company, or finance company someone from the builder provided incorrect information and all fees were not paid at closing (not a big issue, and very small amount of money but it should not be an issue at all since the people who created the closing contract either work for or are contracted by the builder's company). That is what happened to me and may or may not be an isolated iincident,I cannot speak for other residents. KB was always willing to go out of their way to accommodate us. They were also very transparent with us during the whole process. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new build.

Need to improve on design studio appointments and flexibility

This is my first experience in buying a new home - but I will say that the value of what I received for the price was beyond that of what I saw on the market. Your people are wonderful, accommodating and responsive - and helped me navigate thru the experience. My only “issue” was that there were some misses that I thought should have been caught - but once identified the situations were rectified quickly. I cannot speak highly enough of the customer service, and genuine kindness shown to myself and my mother by Ikaika, Jose and Jeff.
