Some people keep their word others not so much.

Generally a good experience, there was some hiccups, but overall satisfied

I have some many issues with this house that have not been taken care of yet. I have asked many times to get these issues addressed and some easy ones were taken care of, however, the dangerous one were not taken care of as of today. We just want to be safe and not be a burden. We feel that our concerns don’t matter. In the future, I don’t believe I will recommend KB to my friends.

They have great design options to choose .

The house was absolutely beautiful. The only issue was the front landscaping they kept replacing dead plants with 1/2 dead plants that died a few days later. Also why would the final customer service rep close a work order for plants that i refused to sign because the job was not done to my satisfaction. Also workers and supers and even the customer service rep coming to house without masks during a pandemic.

I would have expected the builder to give option to buyers to do some upgrades after building the house being they are the builder.

Everyone gets excited to close, but make certain everything is resolved before closing. The staff have been wonderful trying to resolve all of the items that still require paint, or towel racks/tissue paper holders falling off the wall, backyard not cleaned up or fine graded so we can get our landscaper in, and then to add to all of that, the corona virus. We absolutely love the house, just frustrated at how things are being resolved since closing.

So I moved in I December and during that time until now 2 pipes outside have broken. Also it jacked up my hard to which I’m still waiting to get fixed. The AC is a massive issue at first it was set up incorrectly once that was fixed now it makes a super loud sound. The AC people say there I nothing wrong but the sound is differently than when I first got it and even worst I have to turn off the unit at night so I can sleep

Now that there new foreman things are getting done.

after 2 months moving in still dealing with issues I reporting before closing and the date I did final walk. they had me sign and close with the promise of attending the issues, but still dealing with it on top of being disrespected in my own house by Filiberto and he keeps recommending people to do cement so he can get money and quality of work horrible! Your customer service representatives is not very active on following up on the issue on the house discrepancy safety discrepancy !!example thermostat programming (?i have to learned it on my own!! Same issue on the outside light programming!! He is not very responsive !!

Look over every thing real good inside the house and outside, you will find a lot of little things that need to fixed or work on to make it work or look right

Please up the quality of build materials and people are not responsible at all. Worst decision of my life to buy a house with KB homes.

Had I known that KB Homes does not stand by the products in their homes I would never have bought a home. I will never give a positive referral to friends and relatives, as a matter of fact I have told everyone that they should never buy a KB home. I will be going online and making a scathing post about how horrid this company is.

Responsiveness to issues is zero. They were supposed to have a 10 day walk through with me after packing into the house. They never did. I have called, gone to the sales office and reported issues in the new house and up till this moment nobody has gotten back to me. One of the issues I have is the toilet. It doesn't flush properly, nothing is occluded the passage. Probably an engineering error, I would guess. It's so frustrating that I just packed into a newly built house with just one toilet in a four bedroom house. This is really a bad experience. Very bad quality of finish and materials

We have been here 6 weeks and still the house is not complete. Poorest workmanship I have ever seen. Have been promised numerous times for the completion but, to no avail. Front door was to be painted completely blue which was what we had picked out in the design studio. The door is only painted blue on the outside. Paint droppings on all floors. Several closet frames are 1/2 inch different from side to side. Transition molding in kitchen is not secure. Seal on one window is coming off. Sorry we bought into this house. Walk out the back door and you roll down the hill. Not level at all.

Everyone was kind, but the house has many things to fix and several details and they have not communicated or told me when they come…

Closing date was changed several times. No exact dates. After the closing construction crew didn’t do what they had promised to. Hard to get in touch with them. No incentives or anything. No proper house gift from sales rep compared to other builders.

First we were three weeks past our estimated closing date. So we were expecting the home to be “finished” when we closed. There were numerous items not done or working. Heat did not work for over 5 days. Loaner Kitchen fan not working. Missing outlets in living room and outside. And the house had not been cleaned. They promised touch ups in thirty days, it’s been two months no touch up. List is too long to put here. We’ve had several phone calls with customer service and supervisor. They promise to get on top of it, but rarely update us. They also promise to visit and do not show up. Our neighbors have problems with their homes as well. Great support from sales team but poor and slow support from construction, engineering and customer service during and post close.

Is a good experience to buy a house from KB but the quality and the response is very bad overall.

Now that we have been here a few months, we are noticing an alarming number of issues. Windows are leaking when it rains, drywall inside is wet, soft and peeling from rain outside (i can literally put my finger through it), windows that wont lock, grout completely cracked open on the kitchen counter which is now allowing water from the leaking window into the cabinets which will ruin them and cause mold, kitchen cabinets not properly installed at the floor, broken patio light, AC did not pass some type of inspection, door handles through out the house all coming loose, water coming in from the bottom of the sliding glass door, not to mention all the cosmetic issues of paint and caulk all over the floors and light switches that we have had to scrape off (and still are), paint stains on the carpets, nails sticking out of cabinets, uneven paint on the walls….the list goes on. Not what you would expect from brand new construction. It is apparent that many corners were cut while building this house. We gave a long list of issues several weeks ago and have yet to be contacted to have them fixed. We are very dissatisfied with the quality if this house and are finding more issues every day. ... Schedule a pre-drywall inspection in addition to a regular inspection before closing

The home is wonderful and an awesome value. The only issue ws the mortgage process, never been so felt raked over the coals, and we have very good credit. But the team got us through it, and we couldn't be happier!
