The overall process was not too great. The KB team was not always communicating with me about what the next steps were. Because of the back orders they were not able to tell me when I would be able to get my microwave vent.

Been waiting for someone to come over and fix things but nobody contacts me to give me a certain time. Disappointed!

On your final walk through make sure everything is working & upgraded that you pay for But Kb homes Construction manager not take care of my driveway its not contructed well to hight to park car i am really not satisfied with my driveway

The house at first looks good but when you pay attention to the details, you find the errors. they need to pay more attention to the final details

Sadly, I would never purchase another KB home. We had issue after issue after we moved in.

communication is a huge issue. There were several times when valuable information was not passed over to us as home buyers (like the closing date being moved). I understand delays due to shortages and labor but I expected to be told about them. Also, it seems that after you close you are on your own. We had an issue with water coming back into the house after the water softener drainage pipe had become backed up. The warranty rep told me to get some towels to clean up the dirty water that had saturated my carpet. I tried to reach his manager and got no response. Would not recommend KB.

KB failed in my view in handling customer service in view of the pandemic and builder problems that ensued and affected the buyers. Employees in the field were left to handle questions/problems without support from management.

The sales and construction team were better than average. I wish that the architect put more thought into the room designs and that the building supervisor would have communicated the changes made from the model. KBHS was terrible, use your own lender. We love are home and will continue to work with the warranty department to fix issues.

Not happy to pay HOA for our “gated community “ when the gate is not working more than it does work.

Material are very cheap and break fast

I had a great experience until final close day. I was promise a clean house and it was still dirty and still had to do repairs on it.

The house was rushed at the end, and a lot of things should have been done a lot better. Interior walls have very little strength and the flooring trim work is terrible. the lawn was done poorly and has to be redone.

Overall not so good experience buying home at KB.

Within the first month we had issues with the down stairs bathroom toilet clogging. We also had water coming/flooding from the upstairs shower through the walls down stairs. I was assured there was no damage, however, I don't know how this can be known if no one went in to look. I worry about mold developing in the future. Also there was a busted sprinkler pipe in the yard which flooded the yard and inflated my water bill. There are a handful of other things

Responsiveness could’ve been better at Laurel Grove.

Beautiful designs of homes, but the quality of the materials used interior/exterior was not satisfactory. Also, some structure choices are questionable when it comes to sound deadening.

This is my first actual new home I’ve ever purchased. Prior to my purchase I had a used home that was made by KB when I lived in SoCal. I’ve never had any issues with that house that I previously lived in, and that was the main reason why I decided to make my first home purchase with KB. In my personal opinion it seems as if there has been a decline in the craftsmanship and focus on quality for my specific home I purchased. However, my property custom service is KB’s saving grace. He working extra had to right all the wrongs I’ve experienced since I took delivery of my home. We still aren’t done, but I have confidence in in his abilities to address all of my concerns. ... Great home but the experience was a nightmare.

Easy to work with and very fast processing for loans

Initially the commitment to customer service and quality helped seal the deal, as we got more into the process these things quickly disappeared. Part of what we were sold was the commitment to communication, customer service, and quality. We felt like we couldn't trust anything we heard from anybody, we were told what people thought we wanted to hear. Communication seemed to be the number one thing that we were told was going to happen, far from it. Some of the issues like communication wouldn't have been much of a problem if it wasn't pushed that it was such a priority, creating a chance for expectations to not be met. We love our home, the features, design, and location, unfortunately we have several issues that we will need to address soon from workmanship.
