From start to finish our builders did a excellent job. All involved always kept us informed and quieted our fears. Overall this was a wonderful experience, we love our house and feel the is a great investment. The quality and workmanship is outstanding. Thanks KB for making our dreams come true!

Exceptional work.

Big furnitures and appliances can be difficult to set in place because of the 3 storey set up. The stack washer and dryer I bought is hefty in size and the room for it was challenging for the installation. The hookups are placed behind the stacked washer and dryer. It could have been easier if the hookups were placed on the side of the little room. If you will be doing the move yourself, have fun! It is doable of course. Other than that, my family and I love it here. It is a relaxing and comfortable place to be specially coming home from work.

Complete disregard and lack of expected quality craftsmanship for a $550K home. Lots of cutting corners to push towards a short-deadline closing. Lots of pressure put on building superintendents and managers to close the books on several homes at the same time. First night in the house the thermostat went bonkers and started the A/C when it was 19 degrees outside. Brand new whirlpool oven didn't work for nearly two weeks. Rather than bring us a new one like we had asked they deferred us to their home warranty department. Well over 20 items still awaiting fixes and or repairs after being in the home for almost two months now. We are very concerned about the long-term probability of greater unseen (aka under-the-skin/below the surface issues and concerns arising from the obvious poor craftsmanship and rush to close. Easy to put some of the blame on us the buyers for accepting after the final inspection, but not something taken lightly when you've been living in a hotel and air BnB for a month while getting promise after promise by the builder that everything's going to be taken care of to 100 percent of your satisfaction, and that your home will as good as or better build quality than their best model home. Yes, that's precisely what we were told on several occasions. Couldn't have been farther from the truth. In hindsight I never should have accepted/signed or gone to closing, but instead played hardball and insisted on them refunding me my $10K earnest money and took my business elsewhere. My only concern with this thought is that I think the lack of quality craftsmanship in the new homes being built in this area is more wide-spread than I can imagine. I wonder who's really passing the various inspections of these homes at the city level? Lastly, our poor neighbors. We consider ourselves fortunate the we are not having to deal with the plethora/myriad of issues they're having to deal with as I speak. These poor folks have been having no-kidding deplorable and unimaginable issues. To the point where they are about to go after them with a class action lawsuit demanding compensation for their time or the full refund/buy back of their homes. It's really unacceptable how KB Home has treated these retired folks who have worked hard their entire lives only to have to deal with this kind of stuff. ... More

They are cranking out these homes and they are selling faster than they can get them done! We love the layout, quality and service! Everyone was great to work with! Cannot thank you enough!

I moved in to a new town home at Metro II @ Comm Hill. The location of the community and floor plan is really unique. These factors led me to make the purchase. Overall I think it was a good decision. I was surprised however by the sub-par quality of workmanship all throughout the house. Several chips and scratches in the wood on doors, cabinets, etc. Paint drops on the floor. Misaligned doors. The list goes on and on. For the money I paid I expected much higher quality.

Value is not worth for the price paid

We have had so many issues after moving in with things that were not done correctly and are very disappointed with the unresponsiveness and unresolved issues. The workers have come to our house on four different occasions due to issues with the countertop and it is still not resolved. We have taken off work numerous times already and are extremely disappointed. We had such a great experience with the sales person as well as all the meetings prior to moving in that we thought it would continue.

Nothing bad to say about my experience

I heard from my friends that KB homes were very good, When I moved to my new home i realized why they recommended KB homes. The quality of the materials they used is very good. What ever they mentioned in paper they mean it and you can see that when you live in KB home. I definitely recommend to go with KB homes.

Great materials,awesome construction, very polite and everything finished on time. Also prompt answer to things that need fixing.

Wonderful home

As a first time home buyer, I was able to get the help and understanding I needed to buy a home. They worked hard for my satisfaction.

My home is plan 3, Craftsman model. It's beautiful inside out. However, there are few things that I am not very happy with. The electric power for bedroom outlets is only 15 Amps and this electrical rating is not supporting enough for my portable electric heater. Also, there is one electric breaker is handling for 3 rooms such as bedrooms 2 & 3 and a bathroom 2. I am not very happy with this issue. When I complained, KB authorized person said it's conformed with city code. There is nothing they can help. I want to split or separate the power for those rooms into individual power or circuit breaker. Each room should have its own circuit breaker. Now if one bedroom uses the electric heater, then the other room can't. Overall, I am very happy with the model I chose. ... More

Kathryn U. went above and beyond to make sure that we were heard and taken care of. Thanks Kathryn! Kathy M., and Charles are pro-active, efficient, and awesome with following through. I look forward to working with Charles through our warranty period.

The staff was what made buying with KB Home a great experience. They were all willing to help and assist us with all of our questions and concerns. We love our new home.

At the beginning of this process was a wry stressful time . Being a first home buyer it is a learning experience. I had many curve balls and was able to overcome. But everything was worth it. It would of been a pleasure if I had Monica as a in home Lendor. She was so nice and was willing to go above and beyond for her client instead of being forceful and aggressive. Being forceful and aggressive drove me away of working with a in home lender . But Monica made this journey well worth it. Thank you Monica and kb family
