I bought a house in Feb/March 2025 and moved in on May 1,2025. So far everything is below average Sprinkler system is out of wack, sprinkler heads broken or non functional, system missing a piece for full functionality, tree removal request fell on deaf ears, today a door knob fell apart , house was built in 2024 and was on inventory, I had bad experience with sales team who actually are more of a car dealership.Garage door is like we are opening a tunnel door beside I greased it still makes horrible sound Internet lines were messed up so Xfinity charged about $200, to put cable through for Internet, we are waiting on at least to start addressing issues Per neighbors they had to struggle 3 months to get minor things and sprinkler system fixed Let's see how long it takes for us One month is already gone. ... The seller took a lot of time to reply and help during the process. Stefano was on vacations, sick or day off when I need it. He did not help me when o need it he was more interested in new customers than the one with contract signed

These are the pending and issues after the closing day: 1.Perimetral fence: one picket missing. Who supervised this? 2.Perimetral fence: two broken pickets. Who supervised this? 3.Perimetral fence: one picket half-nailed. Who supervised this? 4.Stairway: no lights 5.One electric breaker needed to be serviced (replaced). 6.Kitchen window: missing screen. The original screen was in the garage at the time of the first walk-through inspection. 7.Duct for the dryer: it needed to be shortened as it was too long. 8.Back door lock: the master key did not open/lock it. ... seems like anything that could go wrong with this builder did. biggest issue is the poor workmanship an distrust that things would get corrected in the right way. it was a struggle to get anything corrected or installed correctly

The build and workmanship is awful. Since we moved to our new house, people from different companies are in and out from our home to do repairs. I guess, i should have taken a house from Lennar!

The quality of the fixtures is sub-par and the build quality is poor.

Wouldn’t recommend using there financing, they gave me the run around completely and never were honest on where I was at with my loan. I ended up just using my financing instead and everything was done within 2 weeks.

Poor quality and upgrades are way expensive.

The loan process was a joke! The loan person, Tammy, came up with a loan she wanted for me which was not the loan I requested so now I have to live with an incorrect loan until I can refinance (at my expense) so I can lower my monthly payment so I can hopefully afford the loan I was expecting! I never received a thorough walkthrough or final walk through. The construction manager failed on that end. Lots of problems in the home which were uplinked to management, some were handled and some still have not been. William in the sales office has kindly checked in often to make sure I am receiving proper service. Candy also has stepped in to make sure I am receiving the repairs I have requested although I haven’t heard back from her after she requested 2 weeks ago for a follow up . New problems are popping up and I’m not sure about reporting them as I feel I’m not taken seriously or listened to like other home owners/buyers. ... More

This entire process has been a nightmare. The process started out great when Dave the manger was in control. Then the process took a down fall once he was removed. Things were being broken in the house, delays due to wrong forms being filled out wrong. The worst was moving in house there were things still not tixed, like the broken concrete in the front of the house side walk, broken windows, no locks on the screen patio door, and the master bedroom could not be use for 2 weeks after we moved in because it was just hanging from the ceiling. My experience with the sales and construction side was great…. However, I advise anyone not to use kb lender they were horrible I don’t care what incentive their offering go with your own lender. They dropped the ball so many times never took accountability. They will go radio silent on you at the end and leave you wondering what’s going on. I had to put my foot down and threaten to call corporate. The contractors they use are subpar. Once you move into the home getting someone out to fix anything is a nightmare. Thank God my Superintendent would come and fix somethings for me. On Two occasions I have took time off of my job for the vendors not show and all Shelby could tell me was oh we will just have to reschedule.. They have no regard for your time. I have to work just like them and I can’t keep taking off my job. The post purchase has been the worst experience God forbid if it’s something major happen I have to pray they’ll even show and kb acts as if they have no control over the vendors that they hire. ... I didnt have the best experience. My realtor was the only person to assist me with no issues. The construction of my house seems it was thrown together slowly. The trades dont care about other trades. Studs not on center, bowed pieces, electrical dont poorly wired wrong, I have a flood lights that were not installed when we closed and that had constant power. took the electrician about an hour to find where the wire was. Rolex and holes not aligned when drilling, I have multiple areas throughout the house that allow air in, in the process of 3 windows getting replaced now. Hood venting had about 3 inch gap of tape, grout was falling apart within first week of move in, plumbing issues in the downstair bathroom. I Have a cabinet door that is completely wrong and doesn't match. On final walkthrough day multiple holes in the drywall for workers and they expected me to accept it as it was? No texture in the downstairs closet. if you want to worry about the biggest purchase in your life for the rest of your life, do not go with this company. They dont care about the customer complaints that I had voiced throughout the whole process. cold air comes in from baseboards as well like how is all this air coming through energy efficient? My infants room is like 5-10 degrees cooler and the heater is constantly running to make up for it. I have socks put into the gaps for now to stop air flow. I dont trust one person telling me things are going to get fixed. Do it right the first time and wont have any issues. ... More

The whole buying experience was bad , this is my 4th home. This is the worst one yet. I would not buy from KB again.

Make sure you double check all information given to you. I was given incorrect information that cost me 15k.

I AM DISAPPOINT WITH THE QUALITY

No answer when there is an issue. All they really want is your money. Pushes you to sign and do walk thru as soon as possible even with issues present. Once you sign they will ignore you and not answer any phones calls for issues they were suppose to fix PRIOR to walk thru.

Purchased a home for cash two months ago. Was assured several times that need repairs would be would completed. Had walk through with Thomas and his assistant. Both are very competent and respectful individuals. The problem seems to be management has understaffed the construction/repair unit. Defective master bath mirror, stains in master tub, gray paint on white kitchen kickplate, shoddy cracked patched where wire removed from wall, gash in kitchen island. Sorely disappointed in lack of follow through and broken promises.

The house looks good on the surface, however there were more and more issues cropping up after moving in. We are sitting here months after move in with holes in walls behind appliances, mice getting in from poor drywall in garage, sinks with stoppers that don't work, nails in walls, and poor out door railing that is so rough you cant run your hand up or down it with out getting a splinter. None of these issues seem to be getting resolved any time soon either since their customer service is slow and unresponsive.

KB builder is worse than what I expected. The quality in every area is not good!! I’ve called for service to fix the paint after moving in and no one answers and no one calls back when I leave a voicemail. Getting things fixed is not their priority because they are still short handed. I’m still waiting for an appointment confirmation for another issue I saw outside. Did I mention the nails that were left on the floor in my garage, the driveway, and the street when I moved in? I’ll say it again, I will never buy another KB home nor will I recommend KB to anyone.

Construction took nearly a year. After the move in, there were tons of issues- The builder did not install the correct window in our son’s room and they had to cut the window out and re-install a new one. They made a mess and it took a week for the project to be finished. The power went out for a 1/3 of our home and it wasn’t considered an “emergency”, therefore was not fixed immediately. The loan people at KB were also dishonest and did not act professionally. There were several other issues as well. Overall, KB does not seem to care about their customers. I am in love with the layout of home, however quality isn’t the greatest. I have advised the builder of ongoing issues within the home, I have yet to receive a permanent fix.

Like most builders, they ran months late in delivering. The value for the price paid is low. Poor finishing of the house in the final laps. We had to go after them to get things addressed. It was stressful, time-consuming, and frustrating to deal with a builder that was not customer-centric.

We have been in the house for over 6 weeks and we are still waiting to get issues resolved. The fit and finish was really disappointing. The house was not cleaned when the movers showed up. All we got was empty promises.

Very regular in terms of maintaining the timeline for the house built up V as in customer have to keep an eye on any issues on in the stage you can figure out Lot of things were broken and you should have caught by the construction manager, but it is not done so be very careful dealing with this guys

Mike the Superintendent were so great in helping me with this house. He made sure things were done correctly and in order. If it wasn’t for him I probably will be talking to an attorney. So many things wasn’t done right and many of the employees that worked for the company seem not to care about how the structure of the house inside and out were being properly built. Mike made sure it was right, thank you Mike for being an outstanding employee.
