I would not recommend to my friends to buy KB Home and totally frustrating with those false statements. they will not be considered once we have closed down homes.

There was a long list of issues that were documented prior to closing that I am still struggling to remediate. Some of the issues were dealt. However, big ticket items like kitchen cabinet is still pending with no visibility to resolution. The Sales staff, Construction Staff, and Customer Service staff are NOT the problem. The Staff are all super nice. But the process doesn't lead to resolutions. Had I known that the warranty claims process would be this time-consuming, I would have never closed on the house. Terribly rushed and resulting bad quality

KB had a lot of supply chain and labor problems as did all builders. So they rushed the inspection process to get to closing and get my money. After that it has been like pulling teeth to get them to finish the items that they PROMISED to take care of. Now that winter has set in I expect most items will not be addressed until spring. In retrospect, I would recommend have your own inspector submit a report before closing and to not close until the items are addressed. Don't count on KB to fix things after you close. And they continually harassed me top submit this review, so here it is.

WoW, the home build quality is as low as it can get. Exemplifies that the company is having severe trouble engaging skilled workers compared to its competitors. Every. corner of the house displays extremely poor workmanship (walls, ceilings, paint, baseboards, doors etc.). I am hoping that the framing, electrical work, plumbing is ok). Will only find out after some time elapses. The biggest culprit though is poor responsiveness to get the issues addressed by the construction operations. They are busy building homes and then closing them as soon as possible to get money without any sincere ...

The house was not ready at the time of delivery, it was even closed two months ago and the house still needs things to fix, the bathroom window, drywall, cabinets with damage, which are supposed to be new and they went and patched it up. I think that when you buy something new it is new and not patched up since I paid for a completely new house It's been two months since I moved and it hasn't been 100% complete I only had 1 walk and 1 day before closing I think it is disrespectful to the buyer that we pay for good quality and service which has not been provided to me.

My home took 14 months to "complete". I'm STILL missing a doorknob, but of the knobs I do have, 3 have randomly fallen off. The ENTIRE upstairs creaks incesantly. There is a crack in my ceiling, 2 doors don't close completely, water pools in the backyard, porch is missing bricks, roof has issues, siding, large space between the cabinet and wall, no caulking in areas, flooring is cut poorly (it doesn't even meet the wall in some areas). In the amount of time it took to complete this house, its shameful to have so many issues. But I digress... I'm actually really sad about thinking about ...

Honesty, integrity absent. Felt unrepresented, our fault should have not trusted our sales agent. Things discussed not honored due to not using KBs rude, incompetent Lender. Some $$ towards house taken away from us. Was told by sales “oh no, you can use your own lender and still get $2500 regardless, but not the $5000”. We understood, KB also took that $2500 away, feel a punishment for not using there lender. “ Oh it’s in contract you could lose it”! So was say will receive regardless of who we use? So we bought a house 7 Oct. we did not like the experience with KB. When they offered a high APR & wanted us to buy down the rate. We went to our lender that offered way lower APR but then KB wanted to match it but wanted my lender to do a promise letter. Neither lenders wanted to do this so this took up time. We had refused to go with KB if they were going to match it because of they could match it now then they could have matched it in the beginning. We sign the contract September after 1 year almost ready to be closed, we was ask to closed even though we know the house is not complete because the sale person and construction was very nice to us and they need to submit the quota to corporateans also promise to finish the house in 30 day so we did a Favor by trusting but boy we are so wrong I moving in 2 month my house still not complete yet we have submit multiple warranty and have a construction supervisor know they alway come up with excuses and promise but never do anything. So disapointed and upset at the same time.

This is me and my wife first home.The experience wasn't pleasant at all. Our KB home experience was terrible. From the sales team, to the finishing touches on our new home, our overall experience was one of the worst. Our sales rep showed little to no support or effort during our building process. Her knowledge of timelines and the overall process was lacking. Our Head contractor and Lender were awesome. Overall quality of workmanship is poor. Especially the paint job. The floor is covered with paint drops. Nothing was fixed after 2 walk through. Get the run around and excuses. Windows are getting discolored. List is too long. The list was emailed to KB representatives.

Bad!! Cheap materials; broken promises. Flooded the building—both upstairs and downstairs. Electrical appliances/fixtures all messed up My water heater stopped working. Bad!!! I’ll be building another in 2 yrs hopefully, but never KBHOMES.

Great floor plans...that's the only positive thing I can say. It took over a year from down payment to close for a 1647 sq ft single story house...which wasn't even totally complete when we moved in. This was my 4th new build and even the house built by a high school construction class was far superior in both materials and workmanship. Definitely would NOT recommend a KB home.

Paint workmanship inside of the home is 2 out of 5 ratings. We've repainted many walls ourselves already. A few repair requests made in mid-May 2022 are still pending as of June 28, 2022. Responsiveness to issues is horrible.

I hoped that for the price we paid for our home that we would be treated like valued customers, unfortunately, that has not been the experience at any point during the sale, build, or post-build process. We have been on our own, have received very little communication and our issues have been passed off from one person to another. Very disappointed in KB Homes.
