Working with KB Homes to build our new house was an exceptional experience, resulting in a beautiful and well-crafted home that my family and I adore. The construction team was professional, the design process was seamless, and we were thrilled with the final product they delivered. However, this entire positive experience was dreadfully overshadowed by the sheer incompetence of their in-house financing, KBHS Home Loans. Our assigned loan officer, Rick Morgan, single-handedly turned a dream into a stressful nightmare through his consistent lack of communication and inability to manage our file properly. We faced constant delays, were given conflicting information, and felt completely unsupported during the most critical phase of the purchase. His unprofessionalism nearly cost us our closing date and added an immense amount of unnecessary anxiety to the process. While KB Homes as a builder exceeded our expectations, Rick our loan officer, failed us miserably. I would recommend the builder but strongly caution everyone to secure outside financing and avoid the in-house lending services at all costs. ... More

Final home inspection handled well.

Vanessa- kb homes sales very helpfull & responsive Trevor- kb homes did a good job on doing paint retouch,, explanation on how appliances works and fixed all items that needed to be fixed in the new homes. Overall, the unit #63 was constructed satisfactory. I will recommend my friends to consider KB Homes when buying new homes.

My sales and construction team were outstanding. The communication throughout the process was timely and accurate. It was a wonderful experience!

The whole experience from beginning to move in was quick and very easy. I was pre loan appproved in 15 minutes, and final approval in a week. We close in less than a month. The home is very well built and the fit and finish is really good. Several features you usually have to pay much more for.

She always greeted us with a smile and made time to tour model homes. We re-revisited Wellington Pointe after shopping around similar homes in the Monroe area. I never felt pressured to sign a contract, but we eventually did & were able to close in the time she promised. The details in our house are excellent quality. Miguel met us a few times to walk through & we were able to request simple repairs prior to move-in. We love the size of the rooms, high ceilings & private lot. Although the property is currently under construction, they clean our street regularly.

From the sales process, financing and customer service follow up, everyone was super helpful and encouraging.

We purchased our new house from a long distance. The KB crew kept us updated on the build progress weekly along with pictures. Everything went smoothly and we were able to move in earlier than expected

Ray at EDP was amazing and helped us understand the process and got us excited every week with updated pictures. Jerry was phenomenal and responded to our questions quickly. We had an amazing experience with everyone there. I would recommend them to all my friends & family.

This is an information, yet smooth process. As a first time homebuyer going through KB Homes felt like a breeze!

From Jason being the first Sales person I talked to and walked me through the floor plans, to Michelle helping with the financials, and Travis walking me through the full build process, I couldn't be happier. About a month in, my AC went out and Travis did everything he could with the AC repair company to come out and fix. They got the warehouse opened on a Saturday to get my part (manufacturer issue). Michelle still checks in with me and makes sure I am happy and all set-up with the financials. I highly recommend KB! I Many homes now are not built properly, but KB does a great job. It’s a good builder to buy a house have a good community to live

I will tell you as first time homebuyers in a new city, we were very weary of a scammy homebuyer so we did our due diligence, read as much of every contract as we could, depended on our realtor and friends/family a lot for advice, really put a lot of time into making sure we knew what was going on and that we wouldn’t end up with a mess on our hands. With that said, KB Home made our first home buying process so great and dare I say, even easy. They helped guide us through in a way that felt genuine and honest and explained next steps clearly, Marla our KB agent was great. And the home we ended up with is top notch and as far as we can see and feel in our first 2 months, good craftsmanship and solid construction thanks to Nik who was very detailed on his walk throughs (PDO and NHO) and clearly managed the construction well. Since their formula depends on upgrades, it feels nice you can customize a lot unlike other home builders, but the downside is you feel occasionally they are nickel and diming you on every little thing with design options. As long as you’re clear on what you want and what is fluff, you find out what may be more expensive to do later, and you do pros and cons lists and understand that the model home will show you the most expensive stuff, you can end up with designs you want within your overall budget. We ended up under our max budget for the home but got all our design musts. Being decisive and having a vision at the design studio helps a lot, and Rachel was superhelpful with advice and opinion without acting like a car salesperson. We saw some indecisive homebuyers with no vision at the studio and they looked like they were suffering. Finally, the loan process was our biggest fear because that’s all the money stuff. This is the biggest thing we have ever invested in our lives. James and our realtor made the process easy, he was always available and ready to answer our questions. And he seemed transparent and helpful. And I have to shout out the First American title person who got us through the signing of all documents, she was very explanatory and helpful as well. Overall, although I always hear mixed reviews about KB Home in various cities, here in Vegas I think they are such a great choice. We were not going into one of their fancy or flagship communities like Inspirada (that’s the one I kept hearing people were moving to at least when talking to other buyers at the design studio), we were going into a community that they probably could have just given half service to and not cared about but it didn’t feel that way. We had a great experience with KB homes, and they have been very helpful with all the issues we see from new home problems (yes they happen) Sometimes the builders use cosmetic materials that have issues and there is no way around it but the overall process is amazing and their attentiveness is amazing!
