I love the neighborhood you developed, and I love the decor. The only thing I'm not happy with is the floor, which is uneven and always noisy

Was a great experience. Everyone was very helpful too make sure we were happy.

We are very disappointed. We made a list of items that need to be fixed. We were told contractors were coming but we had mostly no shows. We would text and make calls and no response. Painters came in to do touch ups. No drop cloths and got paint on our rugs. My wife had to get paint out. There are no transition strips down and the rug is fraying. Never have I seen rugs installed and transition strips not put down. We only been in the house 3 months. The ceiling in the lanai is wavy due to the trusses/rafters being bowed. Garage floor is full of stains. Ledge in garage is crumbing. Tile in kitchen is crooked by 2 inches and the wall is not leveled. Tiles in master bathroom are beveled. The cement outside the house is sloppy workmanship. We had to go back to Pennsylvania for several weeks and we were promised that the work was going to get done. So far we been home for 3 weeks. As far as we can tell since we have cameras we only saw two people outside our house. We saw no one go in. We were promised pictures as the work was completed. So far we haven't received anything. Apparently every person we spoke to at Whiteview Village is experiencing the same thing. Some have been living there for almost a year and half and still have problems. ... More

Was a very pleasant experience, Michelle was awesome to work with and so was the rest of the KB team. Lisa was great when it came to our financing and our construction supervisor Thomas was very responsive and helpful. Overall, it was a great expensive and I recommend visiting Michelle in the model homes if you are ready to buy a home

After looking at existing and new construction homes in the Lakeland area, we came to the decision to buy a home in Hickory Ranch because of the quality of the homes, no CDD's, the smaller size of the community. So far we are overall satisfied with our decision, enjoying our new home and neighbors. We are still waiting on a few post-construction issues to be resolved with moving of sprinkler heads, resolving yard drainage issues and a few minor things, but all other issues have been resolved in a timely fashion. We are confident these issues will be resolved for us and our neighbors who share some of the same yard drainage issues. ... More

The construction supervisor got transferred and the construction issues are not addressed, there is no point of contact now.

Nice home easy process to purchase

The process of the home building was smooth! The quality of the tiles horrible. Tiles were really dirty not happy about. You can see the caulking all tiles paint on the caulking horrible!!

They loved my new home,

I like my home and most of the process was good. However, when an issue arose, that KB had not disclosed to me in a timely manner, it was made clear that I was not as important as their bottom line and that "Business was Business" per Jerrod in Management. It was 3 weeks before I was due to close. I think Jerrod would have been happy if I just walked away. It left a really bad impression and undermined all of the good things and good people that work for KB. Kudos to Darin, Sarah, and Tom. They were great. Amanda in closing was slow to respond which made doing a cash deal really difficult. I've been in my home 2 months now. I am still waiting on some "blue tape" items identified at final walk through to be completed. ... More

If I am ever fortunate enough to purchase another home, I Will definitely be looking at KB homes again! Special shout out to my realtor, Christian J, for guiding me towards my new community!

Over all we are pleased with our home. It’s too bad we could not have more privacy the way they build the houses. The neighbor can see into our backyard and we can see into theirs. It does not seem I concern for the builder.. Also, we may have an electrical problem and we have a brand new whirlpool dishwasher that doesn’t work. It quit working after about three or four washes. Maybe they should be a little more concerned of what brand of appliances they put into their homes.. They are sometimes a little slow on warranty repair work so I give them four out of five stars with the prior complaints I have mentioned before ... More
