Excellent and professional all the way

Our home buying experience was anything but great. While we are happy to own our own home, KB Homes and KBHS made the building experience terrible while costing my family over $10,000 out of pocket due to their inability to close despite issuing a legal demand letter threatening to take our home away and cancel our contract if we couldn’t close, their refusal to allow us to use our own title company as permitted in our purchase agreement, their employees’ lack of professionalism, and the entire organization’s poor communication (builders, closing coordinators, and KBHS are all on different pages). KBHS and closing coordinators care more about meeting quarterly goals than they do delivering finished homes. We cannot recommend KB Homes to anyone. Excellent quality homes and they make sure their clients are happy

Fast & easy transactions with her, friendly & accommodating

During our walk through the house we observed some short comings due to some things that may have been overlooked,but as we pointed them out to Samuel he quickly motioned to fix it. As I mentioned,Samuel never failed us ,he and his team worked hard and resolved our issues. I thank him and his team for an excellent job well done.

This is my 3rd KB Home. This home was a "Move in ready" and was just what we were looking for, but the Customer service "after the sale" has been awful. There was things that were "supposed" to be things done to the home for us prior to us moving in...they were not...and still have not been taken care of Yet. Very disappointing. We actually feel like we were "Hustled" by a used car salesman.

Great first time home buyer experience with KB

The home buying experience from the salesperson, the construction lead, to the bank applications was excellent. Quality of the lumber is a one out of 10. Now that the house is complete with sheet rock and painted, flooring laid and now settling. The cracks are showing up here and there..The placement of all the plants and trees is crap. For the amount that you pay for a house nowadays you could at least get choice and placement of all garden items. But you don't that would prevent me from buying from this organization ever again. Too many faults after the fact.

The house is built with better quality and I do not have any complaints in that perspective. But the communication during the building construction progress could be better. There are a lot of false promises made which affect any individual both mentally and emotionally. It is really hard to change plans with the false promises from the builder.

From the get go all salesman and KB employees were great to work with from the design center to on site sales to the construction supervisor, got us into our new home on the time we we’re told and given. Great experience.

It was a great experience and I’m completely satisfied.

The whole building process was kind of fustrating. Loan and all financial process was smooth and easy. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend KB to anyone.

Too many issues, hectic experience. I could not honestly recommend this builder.

Attention to detail and excellent customer service, sales consultant very helpful and always available, construction foreman also very helpful and attentive to requests and respond timely. Overall good experience in shopping with KB homes. Looking forward to the follow up inspections over a period of time.

Overall a good experience with KB!

After looking around for more than a year we came across KB Homes building site in Gilbert. We were pleasantly surprised the models were reasonably priced compared to the other buiilders. From the contract to completion our sales contact Kurt kept us updated periodically with pictures of the progress and always responded timely. The project managers (Jeff and Dan) who managed the 2 phases of the build out were not only knowledgeable but genuinely cared about customer satisfaction. Overall our experience building with KB Homes was good and would highly recommend them.

Good buying experience with sales and escrow.

I am very happy with my home. KB Homes have a feeling that make you feel at home. The home has been very nice since i moved in. There were some things that needed to be fixed and KB homes sent someone out to check it out quickly. I would buy another KB homes as my primary residence because their homes just have a homey feel to them.

I had a rewarding home-buying experience. Amanda and Lee assisted me throughout the whole home-building process. I am a new home buyer and had no clue what was in store for me. I am grateful to KB for their help and for allowing me to ask so many questions. They are a knowledgeable company and are focused on the quality of their work and ease of the home buyer throughout the process. They assist the homebuyer based on their level of experience in this business. I am happy and content.

The KB Home buying experience was great. From beginning to start. There were a couple of issues in the building stage but the construction team were able to address my concerns and fixed any issues i had in a timely manner.

KB never ceases to accomodate any inquiries and are very responsive to the clients needs. Look for Michael who will take you to a pleasing experience in buying a new home

There were a number of issues with the home and most of them were addressed quickly.

There were a few minor things which weee identified when I did the final walk through which needed attention. I was promised that everything would be made right. I can see now that promise was only good until I completed the homeboy survey sent out. Tony had made sure get a few things fixed before the survey got to me. However, since the survey was submitted, all other things on the list have been quickly forgotten about. As a result, my front door leaked water during a recent heavy storm because the weather stripping was not correctly installed on the front or back doors. Had I not been home at the time of the storm, my entire living room would have been flooded. Please note, part of the carpet did in fact get soaked and I had a huge amount of water to mop up at the entry. I notified Tony about this and he stated that the previous installed of the weather stripping was no longer being used by KB, but he has yet to send anyone to correct this problem. I was also promised a set of blinds for the master bathtub window. The company who was supposed to install them has not delivered yet. There was paint drops on the kitchen cabinets and no one has come to clean them or the sticky glue on the vinyl flooring. I see now that my mistake was in completing the big survey they hounded me about shortly after I closed. If that was all it took for my home’s problems to be ignored so quickly it makes me wonder what will happen if I ever need to file a warrant claim. I don’t like to be constantly calling to make complaints and it should not require such rude behavior to get things made right. It’s don’t know it Tony will even see this review, but this is my last chance to voice my concerns and at least get a message out to other buyers do not be quick to submit your home buyer survey if you have anything thing which was not completed or don’t incorrectly during the construction of your home. From the minute i entered the model home to the day my home closed i had the upmost customer service in all areas of the home buying process from the sales rep, to the mortgage lender, and thru the building process..thanks KB for my lovely home and great experience!
